I’m also a big fan of the blue cheese pecan dip. I had a party to go to so as an appetizer I rolled the big green grapes in the blue cheese pecan dip, just to coat and then rolled in three kinds of finely chopped nuts, so it’s variegated colors, and then placed them in a bunch…like grapes would look naturally on the stems. I grabbed a few grape leaves To place decoratively and it was the yummy appetizer and it was beautiful.
@@traderjoesgeek I just washed and dried the grapes and rolled it in the dip. It works great. Then you roll it in the finally chopped nuts I did each one in a different color and boom done

I used blanched almonds, pecans, and pistachios because the colors were so beautiful and I made three different bunches of grapes rolled in the different colored nuts, also I used the heavy stem from grapes to put at the end to make it look really authentic, and a few grape leaves. I added a little extra cream cheese because one of my friends thought it was a bit strong. I think next time I would always do half blue cheese dip, and half cream cheese, with a little heavy cream to thin it out. Also the cream cheese is more binding. I’m kind of winging it as I go.
I love the Olive Fougasse bread, so 😋 yummy! Another favorite of mine too is the blue cheese pecan dip. I always purchase a few. I purchase Raos Alfredo sauce. In my opinion it’s the next best thing to homemade. Team gingerbread ALL the waaay! The eggnog is perfect to make an eggnog quick bread. So good & an easy recipe to use up your eggnog so it doesn’t go to waste. Thank you for another GREAT review. Have a wonderful weekend! ❣️😍

I don't know if you like alcoholic drinks or not, but eggnog with a shot of dark rum and a half a shot of Kahlua, topped off with a little ground nutmeg on top is a delicious drink
Cranberry sauce is so easy to make that you should try it. You can also make a no cook relish that sits in the fridge for a few hours or you can make the day before.

I love turkey for Thanksgiving, but if dinner’s not at my house, I get a full turkey breast and cook it early. Then I debone and make stock. That’s a full day job for both, mainly hands-off, but then I can freeze the meat and stock so whipping up turkey sandwiches and even some gravy is simple as we get into holiday season. Best part is I can do clean up without a million other jobs in the works.
Not sure if I told you my favorite baking mix is the almond flour cookies, the bourbon vanilla cake mix I eat it plain but I add some vanilla bean paste! Also the cinnamon swirl cake ! And the corn bread is amazing it’s delicious
This video inspired me to go to TJs. I did, and it had none of these items, nor did it have any of the thanksgiving items. I live in Seattle where you’d think the stores would carry them.
YAY and also noooooooo 😢 what a bummer that Seattle didn’t have these items yet. After Halloween on November 1st, my store just exploded with the holiday items. If it makes you feel any better, my sister’s store on the east coast gets new items way after the fact…sometimes weeks or even a month later 😞
Indeed…I’m not sure but everyone last year kept saying it was a cream cheese frosting on Instagram which was one of the main reasons I bought it but definitely just a vanilla frosting 🧁 I freeze or put in the fridge almost all of the cookies and pastries once purchased and take out a piece at a time 😋

I wait every year for the TJ’s Puff Pastrey to come out…I make my own puff pastry, and it’s SO labor intensive. TJ’s Puff Pastry is delicious, flaky, light…PROFESSIONAL!

Hi Donna 🤗 I try to get through the nutrition facts quickly and find more people seem to be interested in protein carbs & sugar mostly so I skipped over it even though personally I pay attention to it. Going forward there have been requests to not read the facts so I’ll only be highlighting the nutrition facts for the new items that come out so that the people who do care about it still get to hear it 😊
Hi!! I’m thinking at Trader Joe’s you may be better off buying hard salami and cheese and olives and make your own antipasto it’s so easy to cut up put on a platter and much better when you cut it fresh and you probably can get a lot more for $11.99 or whatever the price is just saying 😀

Some people are blessed to have their senses fully functional. I had eye surgery last summer, and the outcomes left me devastated. I can read up closed. So much sugar and processed foods. Yes convenient , healthy????. We are living in a chemical world of convenience . Trader Joes is a master at that marketing strategy.
It’s hard to escape especially this time of year 🫣 I remember in Trader Joe’s earlier years, they had a smaller selection and healthier options but over the years the food has become more and more processed 😣
The important nutrition you should read is the SODIUM! It should equal the calories. So…if the item has 60 cal per serving, there should be 60 g of sodium or LESS. There are 4g of sugar in a teaspoon…….so if it says there are 13 added grams of sugar in a serving, that means there are a little over THREE tsps of sugar added to the item. So…..folks…..read the labels at Trader Joe’s…..there are way too many PROCESSED items with way too much sugar, salt and FAT. No wonder USA is overweight, overfed and SiCK with lifestyle diseases of diabetes, high blood pressure, and cancer. ITS THE FOOD…..not your genes!!
Just based on my own experience and my discussions with friends, when you eat processed foods as a treat, instead of every day, your taste buds adjust. That’s why too sweet and too salty items stand out for home cooks.

best gingerbread is TJ DARK which was discontinued a few years ago:( It had like 20% iron and a rich taste if you used milk)

Some people are blessed to have their senses fully functional. I had eye surgery last summer, and the outcomes left me devastated. I can read up closed. But i dont want to hog up the spaces trying to read. You reading them for us prep and save me time on what i wants or to bypass. Thanks for doing TJ's haul your ways.
So much sugar and processed foods. Yes convenient , healthy????. We are living in a chemical world of convenience . Trader Joes is a master at that marketing strategy.
It’s hard to escape especially this time of year 🫣 I remember in Trader Joe’s earlier years, they had a smaller selection and healthier options but over the years the food has become more and more processed 😣

The important nutrition you should read is the SODIUM! It should equal the calories. So…if the item has 60 cal per serving, there should be 60 g of sodium or LESS. There are 4g of sugar in a teaspoon…….so if it says there are 13 added grams of sugar in a serving, that means there are a little over THREE tsps of sugar added to the item. So…..folks…..read the labels at Trader Joe’s…..there are way too many PROCESSED items with way too much sugar, salt and FAT. No wonder USA is overweight, overfed and SiCK with lifestyle diseases of diabetes, high blood pressure, and cancer. ITS THE FOOD…..not your genes!!

Just based on my own experience and my discussions with friends, when you eat processed foods as a treat, instead of every day, your taste buds adjust. That’s why too sweet and too salty items stand out for home cooks.

What’s being put into our foods these days IS important. Noticed new labeling recently which now says “bioengineered ingredient” listed on many processed foods now. Thanks for telling us nutritional information.
