Thanks for the video. Maybe next time a cylinder block on top of the ballistic gel will prevent the blocks for deforming so much and allowing the bullet to exit from the top.
Thanks for watching and the feedback! Will probably try it, but the blocks deforming is what its all about i think. It shows how different rounds react to the gel. So rounds coming out of the gel is not always bad, it shows how the bullets tend to behave on soft material.

Yeah, even a .50 is going to have issues stopping a vehicle in one hit, .308 is gonna take many many more then the one to stop it in a meaningful distance. By that I mean that vehicle might be damaged, but it’s gonna keep rolling for a fair bit longer then you would think. Nice video bro 😎 I’ve had an AR (5.56) for years now but just recently got an AK (7.62x39). I used to have a 30-06 but as I got older the beating on my shoulder got to be too much when I’d run a couple of boxes though it. I’ve never shot a 308 though I hear the recoil is less than a 30-06. I may have to try one some day.

I live in Florida, and we have smaller deer than most states, and I know a lot of good hunters that tried the 7.62x 39 and they never found the deer they shot. They found just a few drops of blood at the place deer was shot, but no more blood. Not trying to discourage you, just what I was told. Almost all of them was using the SKS!😅

You Also Have To Remember That The Green Tip Is On A 62GR Round And Is Not Rated As Armor Piercing! I Think That It's A Fair Comparison Due To The Weight Differences. The Other Rounds Definitely Have A Huge Weight Advantage, Which Usually Accounts For Better/Deeper Penetration. ✌️🇺🇸✌️

If you would hit with the 7.62 the center of the block you would have the same result or better also you didn't show the velocity of it which means you you wanted put the 7.62 on third place from the beginning. It's not fair. 👎
I stated that the chronograph was acting up, and doesn't show a reading every time. Also, it doesn't matter where you hit the block, as long as is not the edges. And i prefer to shoot 7.62x39. Its cheaper anf mor fun. I like AKs over ARs.
Best calibers, that will always be a personal opinion and for the use. But here, I'll give you my 3 do it all, 50 bmg, 500 s&w and 12ga buck/slug Lol sorry! The answer to that question is very broad brother. It all depends on thebuse and situation. Personal defense, hunting, etc.
And I will always find time to reply back to a comment. If you take the time to watch my content and comment, I will comment back. That's the very least I can do. Cheers brother 🍻

Not apples to apples, use all FMJ's or SP ect.
I made another video on it.
Try using FMJ on all of them
If you would hit with the 7.62 the center of the block you would have the same result or better also you didn't show the velocity of it which means you you wanted put the 7.62 on third place from the beginning.
If 308 had a metal tip like the 556 it would have gone thru more
No center block for 7.62 mm
“1 Dousand paper 8’s”
Gotta love having a shitty accent!
can you do a vid on best calibers in your opinion.the reason i ask is i see that you replied to my comment .not all youtubers do that so thxs.
Best calibers, that will always be a personal opinion and for the use. But here, I'll give you my 3 do it all, 50 bmg, 500 s&w and 12ga buck/slug
Lol sorry! The answer to that question is very broad brother. It all depends on thebuse and situation. Personal defense, hunting, etc.
56 mins later you like it. best dude ever.
And I will always find time to reply back to a comment. If you take the time to watch my content and comment, I will comment back. That's the very least I can do. Cheers brother 🍻
About the same. The larger rounds are not worth it to me. Carrying more rounds makes more sense.
The 5.56 wound channel seems to be more 2 dimensional, the 7.62x39 seems more 3 dimensional,
The soft point 308 is not FMJ so it was designed to mushroom on animals for hunting.
On the light side of the 308 hunting rounds.
fps ak round???????????????????
Really should change block between shot!
3 blocks 3 calibers. Why not switch the blocks out so that you could observe each channel separately.
The expension is so big because there is large air gap both side the cavity of the of the 308😢
