Respect your honesty bro, I own the 3.3 twin turbo Gt stinger and no one should underestimate any car on the road , I have smoked the following cars because they underestimated my car , the list goes as follows; Porsche Cayenne, Dodge Charger scat pak, Dodge Charger rt, Mitsubishi evolution , jaguar f type, AmgMercedes’ Benz , bmw m4 m1 ,mustangs and the list goes on. I have a 2013 Charger R/T AWD and am considering, someday, the Stinger GT2 w/ AWD...
Dodges computer and putting the power down is the worst--especially on street tires and these dodges wear out the tires so quick--half probably have less then 50% tread.At the track--street tire division--most american muscle cars were very high 12s low to mid 13--i was running 12.8 (2020 AWD Stinger GT) all night and prob could have gone a little faster but I had no helmet.You can check my vids out--every car I raced had 500 plus HP and I won all 3 of my races. I even beat my freinds 650 HP Kenny Bell lightning which was made for the quarter but because of traction could not get it down right.

I own a modded stinger. Never lost to any scatpack. I always surprise every single one of them. It doesn't take much to beat a scatpack. Put in a piggyback tuner $400 and win.

do you only need the tuner. I heard the spark plugs need to be regapped if you add power?
@@alexlittig7927 yes, when you’re making more than oem power in any car it is recommended to regap your oem plugs or get 1 step colder plugs and gap those to the recommended gap.
Same with my 14 taurus sho, simple tune and trash most people. Especially with awd, runing 3.6 0-60 .

Lol I have a stinger GT. I love it seeing the look on people’s faces when I blow by there v8s. My car is stock too. I will smash any scat pack or mustang GT from a dig. If i get a jb4 I can smash on a roll too I keep up on a roll stock now. People need to drive one n they will see how good it is not just straight line speed but handling as well. It was designed and tuned by BMW and Audi engineers. I do envy the sound of a V8 tho. I do 12.8 in the 1/4 stock all day in my stinger. Have done as low as 12.69. Awesome video tho love the honesty!
I have the base 2.0T. No where near as fast as your GT, but still plenty fun. I did test drive the GT2 AWD... BRUH!!! Next on my list.

Just browsing through videos and I came across yours. I give you big respect for posting this. Most guys have to much ego to admit it. But the Stingers are no joke. I have the gt2 twin turbo all wheel drive. This car can run with anything on the road. And off the line with the traction that I get with awd difficult to beat. I’ve learned a long time ago don’t underestimate any car on the road. The Stinger GT with the twin turbos is definitely a sleeper.

Hey Knockout 360, I was going to buy a Scatpack Widebody charger earlier this year but dealer was messing with the price. They had it listed at $42K to get me in the door and then told me $ 57K. Unfortunately, no other Dodge dealers had the Scatpack Widebody in stock and then I found the Kia Stinger which I purchased 2 days later. I loved the charger but have to tell you I love the Kia Stinger GT2, especially since it has AWD and I live in the Chicago area. Thanks for your review and sharing your opinion of the Stinger.

I love my Wide Body Scat Pack Challenger M6, But my Stinger GTS kicks Scat Packs ass all day especially from a dig. I did a 60-120 roll up a hill last summer vs a Charger Scat Pack and it faded away in my rear view all I heard was loud pipes then silence lol!

I have the RWD Stinger GT bone stock, I blow 5.7 out the water in comfort or eco mode....
but the 392 is always an even race, (in sport mode) until about 4th or 5th gear & then the 392 starts to pull away

Respect to you for your honest opinion! I have owned many fast American muscle cars, I have respect and Love for V8 power and sound! But just recently I bought a 2022 stinger 3.3l twin turbo back wheel drive and it surprised me on how fast it is for being stock and coming from driving V8’s it’s under estimated.
I have been following you since I had my 2017 Charger RT and I sold it this year because they didn't change the body style! I ended up getting a Stinger and I will have to say I miss my Charger but the Stinger is nasty the way it puts down its power!!
The stingers are powerful cars no thrill like a charger but they can put the power down for sure
I sold my rwd Stinger GT for a widebody Charger Scatpack. Stock for stock the Scatpack is a better performance package if you actually go to a road course or strip. However the Stinger responds well to basic bolton's. So on the street they are whipping all kinds of ass lol. The depreciation on the Stinger is horrendous. You can get into one for like 20grand. So get a used one and build that shit.. But in my case I wanted something just as fast and comfortable as the Stinger but a little more rowdy. The Scat fits that perfectly!
Along with the twin turbo it's shaped like an arrow. 392 is like a damn brick cutting through the wind.

Just bought a 1320 scat pack R / T. WITH the drag mode. Once break in is over. There aren't too many cars that can beat these cars. From what I'm seeing. I know a man that bought a stinger about a month ago. Neat looking car. Very sporty looking.

@@sonsincere1940 yes 1200 rpms the peak torque kicks in and it doesn’t fall off until 4600 rpm I think. But then the horsepower holds it until 6000 rpm. It’s crazy how linear the power feels in the stinger

I have drove a "narrow body" 2020 scat pack from keffer dodge and capital dodge in Indian trail. Im telling you the stinger will ride stock. You can make the blow off valves loud just by putting on a cold air intake. If anybody talks crap about the car they have never driven it. My stinger gt2 msrp is $54K. Kia came a long way

I drove the stinger when I was sedan shopping. Stock v stock and on paper the 392 Charger is the faster car, however a factory turbo car always has room for enhancing. Once modifications are added, it’ll dust us 392 owners, especially since they’re AWD. But I’d rather have a 392 Charger, that’s why I bought one 😁😂

GT2 owner here...Seriously, that was some funny $#@! Don't underestimate the Stinger. They were built by an ex-BMW M engineer. You don't need crazy mods to maximize performance. Dodge's are heavy as $#@! Definitely would get smoked in the canyons.

My 2020 Stinger GT2 as intake and jb4 and I have never been passed on the street. I've raised 7 Mustangs 3 chargers 4 Challengers. Only got beat on the strip with V8 supercharged cars

I sold mine last year. Fastest pass stock was 12,9. It then went 11.94 at 116mph. with only a jb4, methanol injection and no mufflers about $1000 Canadian for upgrades to give it near 500 crank hp. quickest car on the Stinger Forum list is doin 11.4 at around 121.

My buddy has a stinger GT that I helped him mod a bit (borla, cai, eibach and piggy back controller) fast forward I buy a scat. Long story short he sends it and ends up floating the brakes and not making a turn and out some rail road tracks he goes. It was quick but lacked with the 4 piston compared to my 6 piston brembos. Moral of the story, stopping is as important as accelerating.
Stingers aren’t really ecu tuneable, he most likely had a jb4 pigy back tune with Bolt ons that’s it lol. The turbos are loud as shit too.

But compared to Dodge, Dodge has more powerful cars and engines in their lineup than any other company right now. What V8 sedans can you name from Ford doing 180 with a tune with 450hp in a four door?
Way to be honest bro stinger owner here. Got intakes secondary downpipes exhaust putting down 400 to the wheels and mine is AWD. Have the Jb4 once that is installed running E85 will be pushing 500 WHP ok so that’s at least 530 crank. Are cars are no joke good that your honest not a hater saying it’s just a KIA. Honestly upgraded turbo stingers are at 700 Hp plus

Before I got the scat, I had a VW golf R with a tune and minimal work. I would eat the stang GT’s for breakfast from the dig and from multi speed rolls. They would always pull up after laughing and ask “ wtf is that thing?!” ‘‘Twas the 2017 golf R. Manual. ( first gen / pre cat fish refresh). It was almost 1,000 lighter than my scat and AWD and just about as much herspers! People slept on me all day long. Was THE most fun car I’ve ever worked on or had the pleasure of living with. Hands down. The scat is fun but my golf R was a fkn rocket sled that you always got to 6,000 rpms in any and all gears. From first to whatever. “It’s fun to drive slow cars ,fast ,but sucks to drive a fast car , slow. “. That’s half the prob w the scat. Is I know it wants to stretch it’s legs and handles it with ease. If this was manual I would be in heaven.

Good video. I just got a Stinger GT1 AWD and it hauls the mail! I took a new Mustang GT to school getting the freeway the other day and the look on his face was priceless. KIA or not it is a phenomenal car and very fast off the line with AWD. I leased it so I'm not going to throw many mods on it other some K&N air filters. It is plenty fast for me and will out handle everything but a Vette as far as American muscle cars go.
In all honesty the Kia Stinger with the 3.3L twin turbo is not a bad car however stock for stock it's not winning that race. A lot of cars can beat a stock 392 when the other car has been heavily modded, tuned and lighter but running up against a modded bottom end twin turbo 392 would be a different story. Or even a 392 with a blower on it.
I've got A 2015 Chrysler 300 SRT with twin hellion turbos. It's scary fast.

I saw a video of a stock charger hemi against a stinger..that stinger got so far ahead that charger looked like an ant.
Also all of them aren’t AWD. They have RWD with lsd option as well. Just intakes and downpipes give the car 30+whp with no tune. With a JB4 tune that only costs 400 bucks you can get I think around 415whp and close to 500ftlb torque. And that’s on 91 octane. 93 octane and switching that map gets even more.
I can't tell how many times I've eaten the stingers on highway roll races multiple times.

My Stinger is stock, and has NO problem eating scat packa from stoplight to stoplight. The way the twin turbos kick in and full torque at LOW rpms make this a beast at certain speeds and rpms. But roll-ons not so well. ohh btw, PLEASE dont put the Stinger in the same class as Hondas etc. It might be made in an asian country, BUT make no mistake about it... this is Luxury Sportscar at the very heart... not a rice burner in anyway shape or form. :)

Today's modern turbo cars can all be modified fairly easily and can gain a lot of power with minimal mods. A tune, downpipe, bigger intercooler, etc. I know my scat isn't the fastest thing on the road...but it holds it's own all things considered. I just love the car, the sound, the feel of the muscle car. It's just fun.
