The comparison of the two just shows you how important it is for a boss to be designed to be fought by your playable character. As good as DMC5 is, you can just feel that Credo boss fight is designed for Nero while the Cavaliere isn't. It's still tons of fun to fight him as Nero, but it shows when compared to Credo. The amount of interactions Credo has for Nero's grab is much more than Cavaliere, when the later's projectiles can only be dodged or royal guarded. Even the arena Cavaliere fights in isn't Nero friendly, as he teleports from one end of the road to another, clearly designed for trickster to catch up which Nero doesn't have. On a side note though, the teleport Urizen uses is actually more Nero friendly. You can actually go with Urizen through his teleport hole if you grab him at the right timing.
@@PharoahKing_- Those portals work the same way Malphas's work. In fact, a lot of Urizen's moveset is just him mixing the attacks and abilities of other bosses while still having the occasional punches and kicks.
If Power is the ability to have an affect on the world or the lives of others, and being Dead weight means you can't even protect yourself.... how does "Deadweight with power" work?
2:32 someone is gonna, so l might as well. Credo: Hoh, your approaching me? Instead of spamming charge shot, you're coming right to me? Nero: I can't SSS you without getting closer, Nelo wannabe Credo: Oh hoh...then come as close as you like
1:49 Wow, I had no idea that Credo had a move where he launches the floating spears at you like Vergil's Blistering Swords, the first time I've ever seen it! Awesome!
2:30 Credo (after hesitating and questioning his resolve, conflicted about his loyalties): Nero... Nero: Whaddya say? Credo: (fuck it mode activated and remembers that they're brothers) PREPARE TO DIE
Its interesting to see how Cavaliere was designed to fight with Dante and not Nero, while being kinda similar to Credo. His projectiles are clearly designed to catch Dante sleeping, motivating (:D) you to use trickster and royal guard, his arena is HUGE which fits Dante's teleport chaining, Cavaliere's power up charge is so much easier to fight against with rocket launcher, while Nero can barely do it with Showdown, Cavaliere also cant "counter" some of Dante's attacks on block, like DT stinger and so on, while Nero is always at risk when attacking. Not to say that Nero doesnt have anything, FE Nero can break Cavaliere's shield with one Maximum Bet on any difficulty, so with smart spacing you can consistently grab him. Wish there was at least one interaction with the grab tho, maybe when Cavy starts teleport slashing Nero could grab him or something.
