ABBA invented zoom meeting😂 Omg, this is the ultimate pop group. They are GOAT! When u know people still enjoy ur music after almost half a century after release, it's a testament u did really great at ur craft. Well done abba ur music will outlive us all
hello again, nice to see you well, and with more ABBA songs! "Take a chance on me" (1978) is one of their best ABBA hits in all the world, the most selling song of ABBA in U.S. (more than Dancing Queen), #3 in Billboard U.S. and their seventh #1 in UK Official Charts This is one song than the vocals are more extensive than the music (They begin 'a capela' and singing at the end) the blonde Agnetha is the lead vocal, her voice is so powerful, in perfect armonies and chorus with Anni Frid in co-leads vocal (and the boys in back voices singing repetitive the frase 'take a chance, chance') Agnetha & Anni Frid have fantastic voices and harmonies together Agnetha is soprano Anni Frid is mezzo soprano and together Made a 'three voice' the guitarist Björn got the idea while jogging, by the sound of the footsteps he interpreted t-k-t t-kt and adapted it to "take a chance", so the song was born Although it is a disco pop, it is like a constant and happy march, captivating, cloying and addictive In the video the absolute center is the girls, very suggestive A clarification: it was filmed a month after Agnetha's second motherhood, so She had not yet recovered Her pre-pregnancy figure (these is one of the songs that she recording pregnant) I wish you a greatest weekend My best regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina South América
"Mamma Mia" was a big-hit stage play/musical before it was a movie (and the sequel). It's a campy, funny little story - very well done. A feel-good night of comedy, music (and some) drama.
As another reactor(Jamel) stated about this great promo clip while his getting happily impressed... "It's just four people and two chairs!" Their chemistry was so unique that nothing else was needed,It's F-ABBA!Btw do watch Abba's cult live tour film "ABBA THE MOVIE".Just EXPOSIVE, beautiful And addictive!P.S....1:16/3:17...OK i surrender honey!
Those of us who grew up with this music naturally lived in the hope that the music and the vocal presence would continue to develop, which was of course a fallacy and then in the 90s became irrelevant until everything that was played on the radio became irrelevant. Even today in 2024 where every detail about the recording technology, the voices and the music is known, there is not a single artist who uses this genius. Marti Fischer created a demo song with all the ABBA ingredients and it blew everyone away with the quality that emerged. Nothing happened after that either. It is apparently not reproducible and therefore unique. I am very happy to have grown up with ABBA music.
The idea of music video was an idea of their brilliant manager Stikkan, "the fifth ABBA member". ABBA's popularity exploded internationally and they couldn't be everywhere at the same time so they sent all these music videos around, all made by the Film Director Lasse Hallström who has later been Oscar nominated three times. Thank you!❤
So appropiate React to music from the 70's in a room from the 70's a rare thing to see a room from that period with the woodpanels in original / unpainted
Have you guys checked out Erasure's cover of this song (and their other hits) on their "ABBA-esque" album? Their video is a parody of this with them playing the husbands and (in drag) their wives too. Very funny but respectful.

Please "DO NOT WATCH THE MAMMAMIA MOVIES".
Oh come one! The first one is silly fun and Meryl nails "The Winner Takes It All".
Don't waste your time on the 'Mamma Mia' Movies....don't do the songs justice and are really cheesy.
Mama Mia the musical stage show is great... Mama Mia the movie is the worst film I've ever tried to sit through about 5 times. I just couldn't do it. It's so bad!
