We didn't have a lot of games growing up and would often have to share or rather borrow games from neighbors. This was one of them, and I used to play the hell out it just for the simple reason it was something different to play. I know it isn't a great game, but it did it's job in changing up the routine in life, and that is why it is so special to me.

Came here for one reason alone: *Valgasu.* His name remains in memory as one of the few video game bosses that gave me *LOTS* of trouble in my youth, until I finally managed to thrash him after several tries. I may have forgotten this game's name, but I definitely remember that boss.

I asked to my father to buy a Fighting game for my genesis when he got to the capital city. I was expecting a Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter game. When he came back and show me this game (the seller recommended that as a good fighter (bastard!) ) and i play it, i get totally disappointed. Asked my father to get a refund or something but he cant do nothing because the store were in another city. So, i calm down and play it again. Even being bad, I had some good times playing it alone and with my neighbor. Some good ol memories.
I bought it because of a review in cvg . They lied about it being fun. No guard mechanic, no dash. I still played and completed it. Best was getting multiple hits by doing suplex/ piledriver into the wall.
My friend Aaron and I used to play this a ton as kids. :) I ended up enjoying using "Rotundo" the most, because I sort of... discovered/created this weird move that we deemed "The Jelly Hand Slap", which basically broke the game in a fairly hilarious manner... It entailed crouching and holding forward (right or left, depending)... and finger-twitching the attack button VERY quickly. I don't recall if I was using jump and then also using crouch and attack to cancel the jump, but... Rotundo would... do super tiny "jelly hops" very quickly across the ground toward the opponent, and if you connected--it seemed unbeatable. After stunning whoever or whatever my opponent was... it was grab/clutch... body press... throw (hopefully into a wall)... and his amount of damage was already bloody high. My friends HATED when I played as Rotundo, and finally forbade me from choosing him, lol! :) We couldn't get the glitch/move to work with any other character. No idea why.

I remember this game rather well. Key note is that damage is only received when the character glows gold. Dirk was actually one of the most broken of the characters as if you did the suplex by the side of the screen, you could net multiple hits on your opponent on high damage. Another fun fact is that there were two versions of this game. one was legit, one was not. This is the non legit version. The only difference is actually the story. Obviously the image show some sort of overlord conquering races, not a red sun going nova, and this tournament was about finding the best warrior candidate to send after this overlord and stop his spree of destruction. I also only just realized that Dirk must be related to the Kinnikuman bloodline as he can perform the Kinniku driver with incredible skill.
+Legion Beast I know that there were two versions of this game but not a real and not a fake one , the story is slightly different and the characters , in some cases have different names . My favorite character was Eyesight / Uppercut

Good memories, nostalgia really paints a better picture of this game, back in the day it was decent and you could have a limited amount of fun with it, but it was real garbage compared to SF2, the father of them all (and still is). This is the first game I played in my Mega Drive when I was 9 YO only. I had Street Fighter in my mind, so it paled in comparison, at least in the beginning. Now I'm missing those days, had lots of fun with it.

here's my idea for a less scary plot: "since ancient times, the realms of the world competed in a tournament known as the inter-realm fighting tournament, where one fighter from each realm fought their way to the top to decide which was the strongest of all. However, conflict slowly began rise, with some fighters being accused of cheating, and others accused of being treated unfairly. the tensions got so high, that the tournament was eventually shut down to prevent disaster. Now, the evil lord Valgasu has re-opened the tournament, claiming it to be to reunite all the realms, but really, it's so he can take over them all. will Valgasu's plan work, or will someone be able to stop him before it's to late?"

The game compared to the best fighting games is bad. But looking like a wrestling game ancients simple, it was fun, very simple, but fun.

Joshua Madoc True, he and equus share one such move. Dirk just had two grapples that made best use of the walls.
