Envious 😅 - glad to see you’re finally on the water and enjoying the fruits of your work - good luck fixing that light 😋 - hope it’s all smooth sailing ahead 🤞
Good to see you got it sorted. If you have a lot of dust / dirt on the boat try spraying it with patio magic or a similar product. Spray it on and leave it. If it doesn’t rain within a day or so then rinse it off.
Thanks Steven! 😊 We're going to make a future video about the boat buying process and costs, but in the meantime if you just Google Moody 425 for sale you'll get a rough idea of what we paid 😊
We had to fibreglass over the hole so we can redrill a correctly sized hole later (which isn't urgent and can be done in winter when we have more time). 14 layers of fibreglass total plus a filler plug is actually more than we needed to do but we wanted to make it really strong. The end result is thicker/stronger than our hull and set rock solid 💪👍
Med mooring makes me really nervous! Props to you both for nailing it so early in your sailing careers!
Thanks! It can be tricky, especially when it's windy. We got lots of practice in this year luckily, gets a bit easier each time 😊

Thanks Nigel! Could use your help with the light 😂 Hope all is well with you in Tas 😊
Very inspiring! I’m dying to do the same some time soon. Next season perhaps…
Cheers! Best of luck with your plans! 😊

Cheers Kevin! 😊 Hadn't thought of using this product, will keep it in mind for the next time it rains here!
Nice video guys! Keep it up. ❤
Thanks so much Sam and Sheni ❤️ Hope you guys are well! 😊
Great video
Cheers! 😊
Next upgrade, a better anchor.
Maybe one day 🤑 Our anchor has served us well so far though - it's the correct size for the boat and has held well even in rough conditions 😊⚓️
@@sailingwishfulthinking there are better anchors for living on the hook. One of the most important thing for live aboards, if not the most important.
Nice to see you are on your way !
Maybe we meet up one day on the Blue 🖖🏻
Thanks! 😊 Hope you get your leak sorted out too and find out where it's coming from! Hopefully we'll run into each other somewhere!
Amazing Ryan! Subscriber 17
Cheers Brian! 👍
Great videos. Can I ask how much you paid for the boat?

Just saying the G in Agios is a hard G rather than a soft one like J. It means Saint.
Oops my bad 😅
@@sailingwishfulthinking no worries, just sayin'
'Jesus Christ' as you pass under the bridge 😂
Wondered if anyone would notice that 😅
Need a better mic, while outside the boat.
We have a good mic, it was just very windy that day!
Hmm…Seems like a Half-Ass Fix☹️ to correct a poor decision originally…Live & Learn
