2025 Volkswagen T-Roc - Unbelievable New Features Revealed!
The new Volkswagen T-Roc has returned to the scoop after being seen in winter. Our spy photographers captured another tiny crossover tester in the Austrian Alps.
According to the back sticker, the 2025 Volkswagen T-Roc tested its brakes on mountain routes in a gorgeous scenery. Sensors on the prototype's wheels and roof provided vital data for the development team to modify components.
It may look like a blend of its predecessor and other recent Volkswagen-branded products, but the car has a new grille under its camouflage. The bumper looks more mature with its new air intake and side vents and teardrop-shaped headlamps.
On the future T-Roc, the hood ends further back and the rear bumper is cleaner. The model's upright tailgate may open into a larger cargo compartment behind the seats. The back windscreen is now slanted, but the silhouette is comparable. Nearly identical front and rear overhangs.
Since the new T-Roc has greater axle room, the wheelbase length may be slightly longer. VW can make the T-Cross subcompact crossover slightly roomier. Although we haven't seen the interior, the forthcoming T-Roc is rumored to sport a tablet-like infotainment system, new digital instruments, a revised dashboard panel, reshaped seats, door cards, etc.
MQB Evo may be under the skin of the latest VW Golf, Skoda Octavia, and Audi A3. That would mean the 2025 T-Roc lost its outdated structure shared with the Golf and other VW Group cars. A few moderate hybrids and two plug-in hybrids may power it. A new T-Roc R to replace its 296 hp (300 ps/221 kW) 2.0L turbo-four is premature.
VW is dropping the T-Roc Cabriolet for the next generation, which is good news for non-open-top crossover fans. Failure to sell enough to justify a new generation doomed this vehicle. Volkswagen may introduce the new T-Roc next year, but it won't launch in the US, where the somewhat larger Taos serves compact crossover consumers.
