Thank you for another interesting video. You saw some Edox watches that we don't have in the UK at this time, although we do have the Delphin and Skydiver ranges. We don't have Neptunian watches. I don't know how long a PVD coated finish would last. I was disappointed that Edox movements (they use Sellita movements) are not decorated. But Maru-Chan, I don't see you as an Edox girl: I see you wearing Omega, Breguet, Cartier and Jaeger le Coultre 😉. Cheers from England 🍾🥂

Hi and thank you for the video. It would be more interesting for watch aficionados to focus on the movements and less on the "packaging" .Unfortunately EDOX dedicates a lot of their new modes to Quartz moments which is such a shame... Yes it is shiny on the outside but has no heart - this is my take on new EDOX models and I own 2 automatic legacy EDOX watches.
You miss the fact that EDOX use quartz movements yes , but Jeweled Ronda movements , with high level or repairability, it's a totally different ballgame than your off the shelf supermarket bought watch quartz movement .....
Quartz movements offer MUCH lower service costs than mechanical movements .
You very rarely see now Swiss watchmakers with high quality waterproof cases making GOOD , RELIABLE quartz watches , that are under the radar enough to not get robbed at gunpoint , but classy enough for the boardroom ....
Edox watches are the PERFECT , working man metro commuter piece , that don't want watches with quartz movements filled with plastic parts that'll crap on them while they're timing their super important appointments ......
Edox is still all that TISSOT isn't anymore ...
I really hope they continue filling that super important market segment like they do ....
They got to my eye , only two flaws , the extensive use of PVD coating which can lead to rather gaudy designs , and their stubborn tendency to use integrated bracelets which cost an arm and a leg to replace , and prevent the possibility to install aftermarket bracelets , not very flexible style wise .....
