So awesome that the Watch Spirits Tokyo team covered the Seiko Museum in Ginza! I had thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the museum when it was in Sumida, and have been excited to return and re-visit since it has moved to Ginza. Fumida-san is absolutely right that the museum very much needs some time to soak in all the richness of how they present the journey Seiko has taken through the decades. Also, thank you for recording the display and chime of the clock outside. Great that you're covering places outside of just the brands.
Do atashi mashi te That was amazing, and the admission is free? I wish I could afford a trip to Japan. Seiko does a real service to preserve this cultural history and keep it available to the people of Japan free of charge.
This is really cool! Never knew Seiko had a musuem in Tokyo. If only I had that much interest in watches 10 years ago, I would have researched more about Japan and the horological history and that would have led me to the Seiko musuem. Thank you for sharing this video and taking us for an interesting tour of the museum.
Seiko is one of the Greatest Watch brands in history , i also like Orient and Citizen , Innovation , craftmanship , design , functionality from Cheap to Luxurious you can get everything from the Japanese watch industry .
I have three Seikos in my Collection , two Seiko 5 Sports SNXL72 old school look and the new Snxs Series line SRPK91 , Additionally i bought a Seiko Presage sharp edged akebono limited Edition , the Case , crown and bracelet are in black , wonderful quality , the dial is Purple/blue-ish . Would be nice to buy a Grand Seiko if i should ever go to japan again .
