I was on that bridge more than once because I did the Megazipline and the Gigaswing (a tandem jump with my sister). Was a lot of fun. I would never jump off anything, but on the Gigaswing you just have to sit and wait until they let you fall. So I figured that's the only chance for me to do something like that. Really enjoyed it and was pretty proud but I don't think I'll ever do that again. 😂 But I paid the extra 17 Euro for the video, so I have proof and can "relive" this moment. It's overall pretty expensive but worth it.😊I highly recommend it if you're in the are again. Oh and did you see that you can also do Wallrunning? That's still on my list.

I was doing that flight hänging on that rope and flying over to the other side of the lake. It goes up to 90 km/h or About 55 m/h … depending on your weight.
hey Jacob, another really great and relatively fast to get to location with awesome landscape is the so called "Sächsische Schweiz". It's close-ish to Dresden, about 4 hour drive from Hildesheim.

You should try the wallrunning. Thats crazy...you have to tell your head to take a step 90° downwards. But if you've done the first steps ists just an amazing feeling walking downwards the wall

Not weird at all....if there is nothing beyond you, your eye doesn't really realise how high it truly is. but if you are standing on something, you do.
The zip line was something I wanted to do and get film of, but they were completely booked, I think we were there at 11ish and they were booked all the way through until 5-6pm 🙄 maybe next time 😅

Maybe it's primarily on certain days/weekends they're booked, so you'd have kinda gotten lucky if you had waited, but it's understandable you didn't wanna hang around all day. I'm sure you'll get a chance another time though, and we'll be able to enjoy it then. :)

There are tons of videos and pictures of the geierlay bridge all over the web, but till today I didn´t know that they had such an amazing attraction so close to Wernigerode.
Hey, I could only recommend to visit Bremen. The city got a similar size than Hannover & Dresden and is quite green and got a lot of historic architecture. From Hannover you need 1 hour to reach it with car/train
I was there last year with my sister who is afraid of heights, but it was her idea (!) we walked the bridge and the scariest part was the swinging sideways ... buts it's okay, because it's so heavily constructed you feel save. We were very surprised of the number of people there, because it's in the middle of nowhere, and the Harz is not exactly a hotspot for crazy activities. ;-))

The zipline has a length of over 1 km and the difference in height is 120 m. A friend of mine did this, she said it was great. Damn wall is a Staumauer. And it is with 106 m the tallest in Germany. No wall running that day? You can also book running down the wall secured with a rope. I did nothing of it. I am afraid of heights too. Last time I was there with a visitor, the bridge was not built.

This is interesting. I am scared sh**less by a height of three meters if I do not have anything to hold to and I walk undisturbed over any height if I just have a stable handrail. With me it all depends on if I have something to hold to, not on the height itself. Still I am not sure how I would feel with this bridge MOVING under my feet, no matter if there is a handrail or not.....

I've wanted to go there and go ziplining for a long time now but the last time I looked it up there were no tickets for the next 3 months
I think that day it was fully booked on all things, we were lucky we beat that line to the bridge, other wise it could of been a boring day 😅

This is interesting. I am scared sh**less by a height of three meters if I do not have anything to hold to and I walk undisturbed over any height if I just have a stable handrail. With me it all depends on if I have something to hold to, not on the height itself.

Like I said, freedom of choice, I’m not gay but having nothing against people who identify as any kind of LGBTQ (if you have watched any of my videos you would know that as I talk about my girlfriend throughout many of them and even feature her a countless number of times). As for “thinking it looks cool”, I’m not the judge of what is perceived as cool or not, some people don’t like my tattoos as much as my nose ring or my haircut, but the beauty of being your own person able to make decisions based on what you want and not what members of society thinks is “cool” or “gay” it is what differs you from every sheep trying to stay on trend, you do you and try stay “cool” or “not gay” in your mind (whatever that is or entails) and I’ll keep doing whatever I want.. be it with or without a nose ring, your opinion is yours, flawed or not, so watch and enjoy or don’t... no biggie to me, I get revenue off it either way.. 🤷🏻♂️
