I just realized the I/O ports on FX Wizard aren’t missing
They’re just labeled as “sync”
I guess I should read the manual more 😅
Anyhow, there are now 3 extra I/Os that can be used with external modular stuff if you use TRS breakouts
I’m using MIDI converted sync from SP2, along with CV and ENV to modulate the FX mode and feedback
I had intended to make something more mellow, but I’ve not yet found peace with this combo 🫠
Maybe something with subharmonicon 🤷
It probably doesn’t help that I can’t stay off the FX mode change modulation
With this in mind, the patch I had worked on seemed liked it might work with some breaks
I used the beat slicer on Tracker and added some rolls
The bass is from an old microfreak sample
Performance mode on Tracker is always a fun way to change things up
Also had fun with sequencer stop/start while FX Wizard freezing on wherever it was in it’s sequence

I seem to have picked up excessive noise on one of the USB power connnections 😬
I guess I should have used a battery pack
