You aren't completely wrong, but it wasn't officially called an SUV coupe until BMW came out with the X6. The FX was just a crossover that looked good.
@@carbuzzcom Right. Just because BMW came with a name of the segment doesn’t mean they invented it. FX was the first sporty crossover that started an SUV segment that was based on a car/sports coupe platform: G35. Now, most of the manufactures are making an SUV based on car’s platform.

Sorry to disagree with you but the FX was an ACTUAL SUV and not a coupe. The FX design was very round front and back (which is here that you believe it was a coupe because of it's roundness). The coupe SUVs have a totally different design, more specifically different angles and lines than the FX (which has SUV angles and lines). With all due respect, you seem stubborn by reading your previous comments, and I already know you'll try to make a point, but the reality is that the FX was and is and proper SUV design.
I love it! However, you made some very good points about things they could have done to make it better. The dash could certainly be upgraded like the 2022 Qx60. I've owned a couple of Infiniti and would be confident in purchasing this vehicle. The other luxury crossover vehicles maintenance are just too expensive in my opinion.
I owned a QX70S, with that V6. I much prefer the QX55's CVT. It is much smoother and I do not miss the lurching you feel on conventional transmissions. The QX70 was also loud and had a punishing ride.
I love infinitis and I have my Q50 to and went to the dialer to get the infiniti Qx50 , took for a test drive and that car is a joke the engine is so little doesn't have enough power it sound like a 1.7 cc engine Honda civic a ND the price is 60000 are they crazy!!!!
I always wonder of the demographic profile of those that buy this or other Infiniti cars. This brand is not known for engine or transmission innovation or excellence compared to the competition; it’s just a gussied-up Nissan!

Nissan/Infiniti needs to put their new 9spd transmission here. If that happens, then this QX55 would be very competitive.
