I’m a 59 year old single woman and I get just as excited as Chad does over the slide trays and bins and tools, etc. I wonder if I can get a slide drawer for my 20’ travel trailer. It’s a pass through storage area in the front and it would be so nice to keep my Blackstone on it. I have to put it in the bed of my truck right now. Hmmm……gotta check on that. RIGHT AWAY!!!! Very cool video and I absolutely love all the Lippert stuff!!
Great information and a great video. “Videos over people, go home” made me laugh out loud. Changing Lanes has become my favorite RV channel because of the information you provide and the honest way you deliver it.
This may sound odd. But I love that they talk normally eg no hyper over excited tones nor laughing at end of every sentence. They just come across as REAL x
I had the Lippert pin box on my last trailer; between the leaking air bag and shock, the first thing I added to the new Momentum was the no-maintenance MorRyde rubber pin box and I love it. I then pulled the trailer back to Elkhart last December to get the 8K IS and Kodiak disc brakes installed--an amazing and worthwhile upgrade (they offer Winter installation incentives). MorRyde makes great products. At the RV show this year, I even purchased their PatioX ramp door tent.
@@preachers4135 With the current situation, I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I love that it inflates automatically and can be used even if you have the newer bed rails that are not squared off in the corners. Also multiple ventilation options.
Video is over people, "Go Home" , loved that. Watching the video of the two of you in your slides made me so jealous, I know it would take an act of congress to get my body into one of those slides. Watching your outtakes made me smile, thinking, wow they are just us, LOL. Honestly though there were lots of ideas that popped into my head watching this video. I have a Class A DP with the straight frame rail, meaning the frame is right in the middle of our basement area, so the pass through is only above the frame rail. Regardless the sliding trays modification has been on my mind, even if it is only to give me easier access to my tools. Also loved the idea for storing the cordless drills. Hoping you all have a wonderful Christmas, and are healing well.
We have the 1st generation MORyde steps w/o hydraulic assist that came on our 2020 Keystone Cougar. I contacted MORyde to see if I could add the strut assist and they have a kit to do so. I purchased it directly from MORyde and installed it. What a back saver it has been. UPDATE: MORyde cargo slides have been ordered are in transit to us now. Love your guy's videos !
We just finished installing the 39 by 90 inch model into our basement When measuring we didn’t see a bathroom drainpipe so we did a reroute on that pipe and cut a notch in the tray frame. All works good now. Necessity is the mother of invention. Side note...if you order from amazon it usually gets shipped by a large truck and will take longer.
Thanks, guys great video!!! Every time I tell my wife I want to add something to our Solitude she asks me, "Does Chad have that?" But it's all great stuff and the MORRyde especially - GREAT company! Stay healthy and safe travels.
I second that comment! Is the holder self adhesive or attached with fasteners? Also keep up the great work with the videos you guys have given me a lot of great ideas!
My wife and I Love you two. We are watching every night to refreshen up on rving and establishing our plans to head out to relocate to another state. Love the vid showing the apps you use.. Thank You. Keep the Great videos coming.
Omg! I was in a completely sour mood today until I saw the beginning of this awesome video. It definitely put a huge smile on my face. AND, all of those Mor-ryde products are absolutely a must. You just added a few more items to our bucket list. Thanks Chad and Tara, & Daisy too.
Nice upgrade with the trays. I was just there three weeks ago, had disk brakes and equalizers installed on my GD travel trailer. The staff both in the shops, sales and front office were so cool and very happy to answer any questions and had their own questions about who is buying there products. Even let them use my rig for R&D for new products coming for the TTs.
yes wow you have to have all of that.. so much easier !! Very nice to see for when we go out to buy one here soon... And Always we Thank You.. and Keep Being Safe Out There !!
We had our slide put in not long after we got our 5th wheel. Love it! Makes getting things easier! Now we need to upgrade to the newest steps, but have about everything you’ve suggested or we have it already! We Love watching you two!
OMG! I love that you’ve partnered with MORryde and even more excited you are getting IS and disc brakes! So happy for you! We love our IS and disc brakes. Are you getting 7K or 8K? Love the video! Safe travels and can’t wait to see more about your MORryde partnership (and what y’all did with Grand Design).
Changing Lanes I hear ya! Brian at MORryde said 7K was recommended and that 8K was overkill....defeating the purpose of the IS and making a stiffer ride. We are not full-time though so I wonder if that makes a difference. I will say, we LOVE the IS and nothing moves in the rig (things I thought for sure would fall over in cabinets are upright and haven’t moved). You’ll love it!
Lasers are really cool, but did they have any light sabers?? Another good thing about the slide out trays for Chad is that if he makes Tara really, really mad at him, he can sleep down there. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Awesome video again, I just cleaned out our basement and now off to Lowe’s to get a couple of pvc pipes to set drill and charger up ,your my guru Chad thanks .
I have the MorRyde 90” slide in my fifth wheel. Love it. I have the MorRyde kingpin you have and unfortunately it put a hole through my tonneau rails. I had to replace the rails - an expensive bummer. I just had the Roadmaster slipper springs with shocks and disc brakes installed two weeks ago. The Roadmaster does completely isolate each axle unlike all of the SRE products and is a less expensive option than IS. LIKE JD, I can’t use the step above steps because there isn’t enough room to swing the steps out without hitting the RV next to me when I pick it up and drop it off from storage. I’m looking at the TorqLift system, which JD used on his Chapparel. Still great video. Excellent products for consideration. Each individual must evaluate products based upon their usage, needs, budget, RV, etc
This was a great video Chad and Tara. Thank you so much. I love those slide out trays. And the MORyde company. Very nice! Thank you so much. Enjoy your stay with family.
Love your channel. Have been watching for a while and have used a number of your ideas to improve our new Solitude. We are new to the Grand Design family and to 5th wheels. We love our rig but you are killing me with all these upgrades. I watch your videos and I spend more money. Just bought the Blackstone today after watching the grill cook off. Then I saw this video and what did I do, ordered the slide out for the basement. Keep up the great work and hope to meet the two of you someday in our travels.
Definitely enjoying how you guys managed to still be able to provide content while things are on the bend in traveling department. Lot's of work but your fanbase is growing!
Our 2016 Fuzion came with that pinbox. Odd part is when you stop in traffic fairly abruptly, there's a slight delay and then a bump. And when you take off, delay and bump. The good part which is awesome, that over the highway there's no bucking and chucking. Much smoother
@@ChangingLanes Yep, just like that. I'll look into that, thanks! I came very close to making my own out of wood due to so much wasted space in my motorhome basement. That might do the trick!
We moved wire, plumbing, etc. Mostly by just pushing it out of the way. This allowed us to move the walls back in the basement. We actually gained 27 ft³ of storage.
Really cool upgrades guys. I know they really give Chad the warm fuzzies! I’m glad you shot vids of the upgrades. I enjoy watching Chad work. He does everything precise and proper. Good ol’ military training. And Tara, loved the breakdance routine in the drawer. You got some moves, girl- a little slow but good! Lol. 😉 That was a little creepy seeing y’all laying on those things. Looked like Chad installed a mini morgue under the 5th wheel for a second. The smiles helped a little though. 😬 Thanks for showing the new goodies. Looking forward to more. Troy

You will love the IS suspension.....added this to my Rushmore two years ago and have been VERY happy with it, probably have about 6000 miles on it. While there, visit Columbo's, nice little Italian pizza place within one mile of the shop.
Great info. Can't wait for the Step Above Gen 2 to be available. We currently have the Lippert Solid Step and the tread mounts are starting to crack after a little over a year or use. It will be so nice to replace the pin adjust with the trigger adjust.
Great video guys! Congrats on the Morryde partnership and exciting upgrades. I love tonneau covers they keep the sun off of my tomatoes and the thieves out of my pecans :)
I added the MoRyde slide-out in my 40’ FW...one piece...opens 70% front side and 30% back side (which is great because that is enough to to get all the setup and black water stuff...best thing I have done to the rig since I got it. I did have problems hitting the lip as well and did not know about the factory pieces to raise the slides so we put a 2x4 and a 1x4 on top and painted it black and now it slides right over the lip and metal pieces for the door locks.
Very nice ideas. Thanks. Going to do the pvc drill holders for sure. Thanks. Our family loves watching you're rv videos. We're new to rving. We are now doing our first 2 week RV vacation. We'll upload some videos of our travels with our Coachmen Freedom Express Liberty.
We were looking at a 2020 376TH this afternoon that we are considering and it had the tow box, steps and independent suspension. Really glad you decided this was worth the money!
Did the IS and disk brakes last March, it's great! Our tech was Sergio, hope you get him. He's been at MorRyde for many years and seems to really care about his work.

Nice video thanks for sharing. I have seen those Moryde trays before and thought about it, your video convinced us. Our Solitude (2019) came with the Moryde hydraulic lift steps and love them. Wish they had the easier locking extenders.
Hey guys just want to say hi and praying your doing well oh YA Hi Daisy , great video and bloopers as always Well take care and god bless hop to see you two on the road or at a campsite take care later.
We have the Morryde steps on our full profile Columbus. I would go back to the folding steps in a heartbeat. Problem #1 Wife can't reach the door handle to get the door open and drop the steps. Problem #2 When parked where there is a downward slope towards the steps, there is a possibility that the steps won't lower enough to sit flush with the threshold of the door. This can (and will) result in a creased, or even possibly, a bent door. Been there, done that. Knowing that we all make mistakes and sometimes overlook things when doing the predeparture "walk around", I would hate to be the guy that forgot to raise the stairs with the Morryde system. That being said, we do love having the fourth step.
MORryde Independent Suspension and disc brakes. Don't leave home without them. We are currently pulling our second 43' fifth wheel and this has both IS and disc brakes. My belief in both is beyond explanation. Twice disc brakes have saved us. I tell of the 5 car pile stating that we were the 6th vehicle in a 5 car wreck on a modified interstate. We once had our rear sofa bounce so high that it literally broke the window operator (bounce of about 6" vertical). The IS eliminates the "after shock" going down the road. Chad you know that your first indication of a road imperfection (bump) is through the steering wheel. The second is when the rear axle goes over the bump. Then you wait to feel how high the trailer is going to bounce (after shock). This is what you'll have to get use too because with IS that anticipated 3rd bounce is gone. You'll ask "why didn't we do this sooner"? MORryde is a fantastic place. We have been there several times and also have had slide out trays installed. MORryde is not just around the corner for us. We live is Plant City and also are friends with Bama at LazyDays. Safe travels and perhaps will see you"ll down the road. Jeff & Nora
We have the original Mor-Ryde step on Everest, absolutely love them, unfortunately can not put the hydraulic assist on them, no room. Love the stability of the steps.
You were in Elkhart! Where I live. The RV mecca. I need to get over to MORyde. I’ll buy you guys breakfast at essenhaus in middlebury next time you’re around!
The sliding trays remind me of a morgue and then you had to go and lay on them. Now that I've planted this thought in your heads, you will always think this when using them. From now on you will refer to this storage area as the morgue. Q" Honey, where's the tool box?" A "In the morgue."

Knowing that we all make mistakes and sometimes overlook things when doing the predeparture "walk around", I would hate to be the guy that forgot to raise the stairs with the Morryde system.
That being said, we do love having the fourth step.
What??? You even carry a router table in your rig? Awesome!!!
I really like those cargo trays. Great video 👍🏼
I don't care about the garage, I just wanted to see you happy people today. :)
Love the MORryde pin box on my Jayco
Jeff & Nora
Plant City to Elkhart... Definitely NOT around the corner! LOL Tell Bama we said hi!
We have that pinbox. Like it. We have no clearance issues hitched to a Reese 26k hitch, on our F450.
I have been watching you two for some time now and never commented but I have to say Far out on those upgrades : )
You guys have some amazing organization ideas. Keep up the great work!!!
Great vid and totally worth it for the Daisy clip at the end lol x.
We have the original Mor-Ryde step on Everest, absolutely love them, unfortunately can not put the hydraulic assist on them, no room. Love the stability of the steps.
Thank you for an awesome video ! I have learned so much. 👍🏼
Awesome addition to your storage!
