I’ve missed these so much! Great to see you back again, and to hear your music again as part of the video too. I love the ghostly images of you opening the locks, it reminds me of the countless boaters doing the same thing over the years. Keep cranking it!
I've missed your TH-cam videos! Can't wait for your new TV series. It's so interesting to see the canals in the wintertime, I'm so used to walking the local canal paths in the spring and summer when it's busy!
It's always good to see a bit of reality. I have stopped watching the channels that are always sunshine, roses, rainbows, puppy dogs, sparkles, and narrowboats. Not that I wish 50 mph gales and ice on anyone of course. If I ever make it across the pond, I'll have to ask for some Pub of the Week recommendations!
Love seeing you again, Robbie! Awesome video and my favorite at the end!! Long time follower. Jeff, retired combat Aviation Veteran from Pennsylvania! Cheers mate!
Hi Robbie. Great to see that you can keep going despite the weather. Those locks leaked really badly. You looked like it was a struggle to get the lock gates open. Well deserved trip to the pub after such a hard day. Take care. Nick
The intrepid bonkers boatman cranks it again 😁....great vlog with iffy weather, bewildered ducks and a pot throwing parrot...only on Robbies channel!! 😄.... Thanks Robbie .....keep on crankin. 😊
Glad you cut thro that ice Robbie & reversed a good judgement. Our ice here this winter is only 3 foot thick not as thick as last years 4 foot but great for ice fishing still. A pint is always a welcome harbour tho 🍺🍺 74+ 🍁 fisherman / hunter Yorkshire expat
The superimposed footage starting at 7:53 was weird at first. At first I couldn't tell what was going on and thought that the camera might be behind a window. After the boat started rounding the corner, however, the superimposition became apparent. It was quite cool actually. Nice footage!
Nice one, Robbie. Although that last couple need educating about PROPER beers and ales in a pub like that. Love Harvey, looks a right character. Best wishes for calmer travels. Bazoc.
Hi Robbie, big fan, of the series as well as your channel. When does your yesterday series start, can't wait. p.s no better reason to push off than the pub.
I`ve just been to the pizza shop in Saxilby and their was loads of Fire Brigade and police. A boater (George) had left the pub and fell in the water. He was hanging onto his boat and they had to get an inflatable from the other side of the bank to get him. I guess they they could not lift him up for some reason.
Sorry to see such grotty weather for you …but nevertheless, this a real blast to have the chat …see the fading filming , the pub of the week and of course the music 🎵
Nice to see the basic stuff back, low shots at the locks ect. Were you flying the drone and recording between locks? or did someone do it for you? Thanks for the video , I'm watching it in Andelucia Spain where it is scorchio but I still enjoy your videos!
I have both walked and cycled past that lovely lock keepers cottage. The Marsworth to Leighton Buzzard stretch of the GU is really pleasant. Are you coming down the Aylesbury arm, fella?
Any news on new series yet getting anxious waiting to see it! However come across young lad called Joe of 23 doing Voyage of Lydia boat he's just bought to travel to work x Cheshire to work he seems like a very much younger version of your goodself I told him also
Nice to see you back, Robbie.👍

Cheers Robbie! 🍻
Nice one, Robbie. Although that last couple need educating about PROPER beers and ales in a pub like that. Love Harvey, looks a right character. Best wishes for calmer travels. Bazoc.

Hi Robbie, we visited the red lion a few years ago on a summers day, they had the local morris dancers there, we had a great time.
Cheers From California 😊
Good man 👍🍺
Oh my…so sorry about the ice and the resulting chaos for you 😮😮🥶🥶
Looking good mate
Omg your the best xxx
Glad to see you vlogging again Robbie.
Did you get yourself a Pocket 3? Looks great!
Love the shallow depth of field. Don’t destroy it in all that rain!
If you pass through Leighton buzzard, I highly recommend my local for pub of the week. The black lion on the high street.
Hi Robbie
We over on our boat this morning pop over for a coffee and chat ☕️ Katie & Tim
💜💙💚
Nice one Robbie have a Top week 🙂🎸✌️
Pubtastic mate
you and ya wind and a flat bottom too ... sounds sooooooo bad 😁🤣🤣

Hi it's nice to see you hope your well. Next time in trouble think like Noddy and say I Can, I Can, I Can 😉😊🤗
I have both walked and cycled past that lovely lock keepers cottage. The Marsworth to Leighton Buzzard stretch of the GU is really pleasant. Are you coming down the Aylesbury arm, fella?
I enjoyed this very much but had not realized you have been away, tbh.
I like it when you say what you are thinking at that point in time, and it is unscripted. That is the way I make all my videos.
Note to self :
Do Not be in England in the winter unless forced to do so. Remember Robbie !😮
Water water everywhere, and not a drop to drink!
Most of us can switch modes, but not many can be a Boater Presenter
Any news on new series yet getting anxious waiting to see it! However come across young lad called Joe of 23 doing Voyage of Lydia boat he's just bought to travel to work x Cheshire to work he seems like a very much younger version of your goodself I told him also
Not yet but don't worry I'll tell you when it's time
Would a bow thruster have helped at the beginning of the video where you were being blown into other boats?
I don't think so - maybe if it's more powerful than my engine but the ice was almost an inch thick still so couldn't turn the boat anyway
