One couple of important questions: Are the power engines really different from each other? Is it true that the higher amount of energy that they give you, the longer it takes for the energy bar to be replenished when it is fully depleted?
Homie top left makes an excellent point 53 minutes in. From Software has fostered that emotional equity with the consumer base, in the east, in the west, everywhere. Their name on a game case will print money as long as the quality continues to remain at that high bar they have set for themselves. Hopefully theres no blizzard/ halo-esque implosion on the horizon over there between From and Bandai-Namco...
An honorable company that will make greedy companies far less desirable. Massive deal for gaming community and hopefully represents a shift in reducing corporate greed in gaming!
I’m a newcomer trying AC1 in an emulator while waiting for Fires of Rubicon to come out, it’s hard and also trying to get used to the controls but wow I can’t stop thinking about it, even when I’m deep in debt 😂
As far as AP levels and heals go, I feel like having lower AP and some heals allows for more interesting fights as letting yourself get peppered even by small unit fire will put you into 1 shot range from hard hitting units. The heals can keep you out of that 1 hit range but are a limited resource so you can't stay healthy forever if you're not dodging well. Later in the game, I'm expecting multiple bosses at the same time which means that even having time to pop heals mid-fight will be tricky when dodging attacks from 2 or more enemies. "Just tank it" isn't a viable strategy even with high AP builds in this game as the numbers aren't high enough to eliminate risk of death. Just thinking about the possibility of intense fights and the mech possibilities to counter them is exciting to think about. It puts a smile on my face.
I just want to say how blessed we are that FromSoft continue to be resolute in going against the current gaming landscape of microtransactions, live services, and chasing trends. Love to see it. ♥️
Can’t wait for this game, always been a mecha fan, watched a ton of Gundam. I played Daemon X Machina, and that felt like an off brand Cola. Time to get the real deal
your demon souls remake walkthrough when it came out was a huge help was able to get the platinum and also did bloodborne and eldenring and got their platinums lol!! Never played an armored core game but so far fromsoft games have been my favorite in a long time
I wish someone had asked about the lead artist and sound designers for AC6. Some of the AC parts have a Shoji Kawamori feel but I don’t think he was on this project. There are parts that are very obviously a different style too. Regardless the artistry is such an under appreciated part of AC games.
Honestly, the only real major difference between open world and mission based is there's either a time limit with mission based or they warp you back to base when you finish the job. If it were open world, the responsibility to getting back home is transfered to you.
I'm so excited for this game its unreal. I cannot wait to play! I first played AC2 as a rental from a video store lol, and after VD I thought there would never be another game but here we are! Edit: I love how high the skill ceiling looks, can't wait to master this
In one of the trailers it shows an AC wielding a long energy blade in its right arm and make a similar pose as the Prototype NEXTs in AC 4 when they do their energy blade charge attacks. If you can get that weapon then maybe a full melee build is possible without having to go all Rock'em Sock'em Robots.
Not planning dlc pre-launch is like music to my ears. It's as it should be. From and Larian are among the few major developers still upholding the quality standard, as well as not dipping into ridiculous mtx models.
I remember once i was trying to explain blade tracking strikes to a new player and they almost went into conniptions trying to pull it off even once. I feel like if you described all the things your doing at once in a old ac game it would confuse and overwhelm these youngins. For example.... Lets take fighting a ac in last raven. Alright im moving my lock box using the R2 and L2 buttons with the D pad to maintain my aim while also managing my energy by bunny hopping while also being aware of the environment around me so i dont get stuck while also making sure to boost just right to avoid a hard landing while firing my shoulder and left hand weapon at same time while switching on my missile extensions and eo on and off as appropriate while adjusting my distance and movement to best help the trajectories of my missiles and moving close enough to land with my shotgun while also avoiding getting to ckose to the enemy when they are firing to avoid there mgs and making sure to bait out and avoid their missiles and making sure i dont run out of ammo and try to move away between volleys and while reloading and......
One couple of important questions: Are the power engines really different from each other? Is it true that the higher amount of energy that they give you, the longer it takes for the energy bar to be replenished when it is fully depleted?
Sounds like you're confusing EN capacity and recharge which are two different stats. One dictates total size of your energy bar, the other is how fast it refills.
Man I have had to play all these games emulated. I first started playing on ps1. I’ve played every armored core except the last one. I hope with all the money they have made from souls it shows in this. The last really well made ground breaking ac was in my opinion nexus. I hope this gets the support from them this deserves and from the fans. Because if enough people play this they’ll keep working on it. Y’all have me very excited I was a bit pissed about the collectors edition. God of war collectors was that expensive. I’d like to see some dlc for this like new missions, parts, weapons
With all this talk about burst and aggression and not being able to sit back, how do you think sniper builds will fare in this game? Especially since bosses seem to have a closed off arena.
Well I tried For Answer last week for the first time, disappointed in the simplification of the garage,/tuning ...it was my first Armored Core game and did not find did overwhelming at all. I highly recommend it, runs very good on PCSX3.
@@FightinCowboy thanks , never played ac but this looks great so il pick it up with atlas fallen , if I need help il watch your guide vids 👀, like I did for my first walkthrough of the souls trilogy , thanks for that 👍

If AC:FOR pops off, I would love to see FromSoftware make a current Gen CHROMEHOUNDS to show they can also compete with MechWarrior.
We oldy moldies got to stick together. Back in my day we slowly catapillared up hill both ways and we liked it!

They did confirm a few months ago this was the first AC game with full foley sound
The interview with the actual director and producer is so cool. What a fucking company!
Most devs act like talking to the fans will make them melt so getting real interviews with the devs and not just PR representatives is amazing.
Just subbed to Cleric! Love the passion for this hard*core* series 😊
Will be my first AC game I’m counting on you Senpai

With all this talk about burst and aggression and not being able to sit back, how do you think sniper builds will fare in this game? Especially since bosses seem to have a closed off arena.
Snipers should do fine, you can be an aggressive sniper just zipping in circles around someone.
Any idea if mouse and Kb will be supported on ps5?
There's been no word on this, but my gut tells me that it mnk controls will be disabled on console for PvP reasons.

Is Nine-Ball in it?
If you strugle woth a boss i souls games, you can take a "timeput" and level up. Can you do this in AC6?
You can build a different AC but there isn't leveling up in this
@@FightinCowboy I think the answer here would be: Yes. You can quit the mission and go farm credits to change up your build.

Can you change controls to be more like AC4A?
Full control customization
Are there side quests as well , or is it just the mission at hand to do
There's side objectives in some missions that reward bonuses
