Thank you so much. Very useful information. It is very important when there are such useful recommendations, everything is presented in an accessible and understandable way.
Hey Julia, that was such a wonderful video ! I’m doing my bachelor degree in English literature, I thought of taking the celta course in the summer since I’ll be free. But I’d like to hear your opinion. I’m 20 y.o and I want to start my teaching career early so I’m trying to get a certificate or two since funds and free time are available for me. Do you recommend me to start with tefl or celta ?
Can prices change so much in one year? I did some research and CELTA now (5 weeks online full time) is 1000 pounds, TEFL (4 weeks full time online) is 1900 dollars. All resources online say TEFL is cheaper but it doesn't look like that now...
Indeed! Prices can vary from 99 dollars to 3000 dollars per TELF course. It depends on the course provider. Cheaper courses under $1,000 typically do not meet recognized international standards and often do not include live practice teaching, which is required by most employers in the field. 1000 pounds for an online CELTA course is a reasonable price 👍, in which country did you find this option?
It depends on your goals and which TEFL programme you choose but in general, if you do a TEFL programme in the authorised centre, you can benefit a lot from it. It is also useful to have a look at ESL job descriptions - which certificates/diplomas they would expect from applicants to have.
This video is genuinely helpful. No sponsorship or nothing else. Thank you so much!

Thank you Rayan! In your case you’d start with CELTA intensive programme👍

@@naveenparthan3670 I will research this topic
is TELF good enough for brazil?

I am confused between 500 tefl course or celta . Which will be better please guide.
It depends on the final goal. CELTA is shorter and more intense, well-recognised by employers.
What about Celta vs CerTesol?
Another video about it will be published soon! Stay tuned! ☺️
@@JuliaDemiELT Great!, DipTesol vs Delta can also be interesting.
