    From watching his interviews for this film, Christian Bale seems very amused and very happy with his experience. It's like after decades of method acting and intense rigorous training, he found an opportunity to express himself without any need for distress or strain. He seems tickled.

      He has seemed very happy and amused with multiple other movie experiences as well, this isn't anything new, nor is it unusual. Rather, it's the norm. But yes, he seems to have really enjoyed this experience, too.

      @@tuuliamoors4134 Right?? 100%. As a true A Lister for years now I imagine he gets to pick and choose his projects and is now often sought after by directors for specific projects.
      He’s winning and he is enjoying a degree of success that few achieve in Hollywood. He’s never been about the trappings or the perks of fame and the interviews and publicity etc. but I feel like he’s made peace with it all and deals with it on his own terms while still fulfilling his obligations press wise.
      But he maintains his integrity and doesn’t compromise himself or be fake etc. He’s also not “too big” to work with other a list actors in the same project. He’s a unique property in Hollywood. It’s great what he’s been able to achieve and his family is his blessing for staying the course.

      @@tuuliamoors4134 I haven’t seen the movie yet but saw an article about how all the kids in the movie found him funny. Something about them telling him to dribble the bile in his mouth which he do to make them all laugh. I guess these kids weren’t intimidated by him. 😂😂
      He’s often so humble and self deprecating but I think he’s now reached a comfort level with this life he’s leading. And he obviously loves being a dad and husband to his first and only wife. How many actors in Hollywood can even say first and only wife ?? 😂😂😂. Cheers.

      Love his range and how he’s been able to keep from being pigeonholed into the same role. Not only that but he is one of the very few and certainly one of the most accomplished child actors to fully transition to a successful adult acting career. I don’t think that’s particularly easy to do.
      Others have done it yes but Bale has been steadily working with few gaps between his projects. Decaprio, Jodie Foster and Natalie Portman are examples of other child actors that are Oscar winners too; but they don’t have the same consistency of projects over time as Bale.
      He is to be commended for what he has been able to accomplish in Hollywood not the least of which is the feat of a long marriage to his wife with zero scandals of cheating.

    I appreciate Christian Bale's professionalism. Many actors get burned out doing the publicity for movies. And even though the press likes to go nuts over the box office success of movies like Top Gun, movie theater attendance is still down. These publicity appearances help keep traditional movie going thriving. Bale knows how to add liveliness to a fairly pedestrian interview.

    For those that keep saying Christian Bale is intimidating in interviews I think people are projecting their expectations on him which is unfair because he has never just outright battled verbally with interviewers or jumped on couches or did anything unexpected like that. Meanwhile Tom Cruise…
    I think Bale is often physically tired during these interviews as press junkets are pretty brutal schedule wise I think. He stays busy too so he’s probably filming his next project while promoting this one. That was the scenario for when he was flying all over the planet to promote TDK and still shooting Terminator at the same time.
    And speaking of that elephant in the room, he’s probably STILL on guard for ambush about that; even though it’s been more than a decade ago with no repeat. Other stars have been ambushed about their pasts by scumbag interviewers before so it happens. RDJ comes to mind off top of my head.
    And nobody ever acknowledges his sense of humor! He is smiling and hand gesturing and cracking jokes here as well as in most other interviews he has done for many years now and all people want to see and/or say is that he looks intimidating! 🙄.
    He seems very focused and present and paying rapt attention to what he is being asked and then he gives an answer. He is serious most of the time yeah but not every actor can or should be Jim Carey in an interview.
    How do people expect him to act in order for them not to find him intimidating? Sit there with a big fake smile on his face the whole time and not just when it’s appropriate? Should he start jumping up and down on his chair or start tap dancing or…I mean….what??😂😂😂
    He comes across very genuine to me. He’s quick to give others credit. He’s always well prepared when asked about his character and the movie he’s promoting. I think people just need to look a little deeper than their first impressions but he’s doing everything he’s supposed to do during these interviews which is promote the movie.
    And despite what some seem to believe, he seems perfectly amicable to me but genuine too. He doesn’t fake laugh when the interviewer gets cringy and I’m fine with him not feeling obligated to bail the interviewer out when he tanks. 😂😂😂

    It’s a crying shame that Christian Bale was in a romcom parody of thor He was an amazing actor anvil and I can sympathize with but the tone of the movie and his tone didn’t go well with each other

    To make a proper villain there has to in the writing a great sense of history, especially something that most can relate to, like Gore. and just as well as a good hero, like in Begins. I think a bit of what Christian is saying here is just that. And to me I think he is one of the best to pull that off.

    I love to see Bale warming up to comic book films again. He’s losing his elite mentality that only thespians of his caliber typically have. It’ll never happen, but I’d love to see him return as an older Bruce Wayne. I doubt Nolan has any intention of returning tho, plus we got Battinson now.

    • @isaacxcii4289
      @isaacxcii4289 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Multiverse is already established in DC tv shows and movies, this means Bale's Batman could join the DCEU from his Earth

    • @nikkinewbie6014
      @nikkinewbie6014 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bale and Nolan had a pact that the Trilogy would stay a trilogy. Bale turned down $50 m to do a fourth Batman. Integrity. He won’t return to the role without either Nolan directing or getting his blessing.
      But I would love to see that scenario too. Not Batman and Robin but with Bruce mentoring and training someone else to be out there like Nightwing or whoever.
      It’s never been done live action on the big screen. It needs to happen 😂😂Bale is the perfect age for it now and if they got the right co star - man it would be gold. Bruce wouldn’t go back out on the streets at all but they could then play up worlds greatest detective angle.
      That is the new angle the studios need to green light instead of just getting new / different actors to play Batman at different ages and stages of his crusade every couple of hears 🙄. That would be totally new!

    In reality Christian would absolutely give Chris a fight lol. We’ve all heard the stories of Christians intensity and aggressive nature. Actors talk about it all of the time.

    • @nikkinewbie6014
      @nikkinewbie6014 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      ?? I’ve heard Tom Hardy say Christian was bad ass. I think that was more him fan boying over the character but since Bale “brings it” in his portrayal it all crosses up together. What other actor that has been in a movie with him has said he’s intense and aggressive?
      In current condition I’m not sure Bale could win a fight against Chris in his current condition. Maybe his Bateman, Batman Begins or Terminator body could have had a shot. If he trained he could probably get back to pretty good shape but I think he’s done doing that. He’s a Dad now and has to think of his health.
