Fun fact, some kpop groups have very strong concepts that follow story lines like animes almost. Ateez is one of those groups so their videos follow each other in the storyline. They have lore and backstories. You dont need to follow it and can just listen the music but it gives a bit of context and an extra layer to their music. They are pirates and there is a war so a lot of their music has that vibe. You will hear it more in pirate king and wonderland.
I know people have been suggesting The World albums cuz they’re just so damn good, but if you wanna hear an earlier sound of theirs that is COMPLETELY different, Treasure Ep 3 is one of my all time favorites from them! To be honest, I’m not sure how you would feel about it, so I’m curious to see if it’s something you would enjoy. It’s definitely much lighter. Thanks again for another fun reaction! ❤️
i genuinely love watching your reactions so much, it's so fun seeing someone with a very similar thought process as me when reacting to music lol. i feel like a lot of other reactors don't really focus on details like you do which is why your videos are so unique and entertaining
Yes I love Edenary's work as well! Eden and his team are amazing producers. They have a very distinctive sound and it really makes Ateez's music very unique and also very consistant
I knew you would like Dune 🎉🎉🎉 I suggest watching Ateez Killing Voice it gives you a wide variety. It's about 30 minutes long and not a single disappointment is to be found. Killing voice is a musical showcase of live raw vocals. It will give you a taste of everything. Each album has a different sound and genre so killing voice is a good start. The Ateez episode sounds so good that it sounds pre recorded and album ready. If it wasn't for the ad libs and the random stuff inbetween I wouldn't have believed it's live. The big bonus is that they enjoy themselves and it makes them extremely pleasant to watch.
Yay! One of my favorite Ateez albums! I love Django and Outlaw. Bouncy was actually the title track for this album and the video is bonkers. Their sounds is mostly consistent per era. This movement era is so good and very hard hitting. The world ep 1 is a must listen for you. You’d love Guerilla. There are no skips in any of their discography and highly recommended for to that actually pays attention to the sounds.
The organised chaos of this EP is why it takes a deserving place in my playlist. WAKE UP being the stand out track for me personally. This whole EP aides to quieten my exceptionally loud ADHD mind and that I’m thankful for. Pleased you enjoyed Tony
Glad you picked this album. Dune is one of my favorites, but the whole album is great. I really like ATEEZ' ability with Harmonics. It reminds me of System of a Down in that way. ATEEZ goes.pretty hard, and I love that about them.
Tysm for the awesome reaction. I was waiting so much for this!! We need more ATEEZ from you. The World Ep.1:MOVEMENT is also a freaking good album from ATEEZ. Also...Outlaw is a b-side. BOUNCY is the actual title track.
I'm so glad you enjoyed this. Ateez and Stray Kids are going to give you the most badass music, vocals, and rap! They are both so rare in Kpop. ❤❤ Next please is World Movement and World Ep.Fin Will!!! I'm sooooo happy!! Thank you!!!!!
I've just realized that Ateez (especially This World song!) reminds me of Muse. I love this album but definitely, you have to check out EP.1: Movement!
The World Ep:FIN Will is definitely recommended, the four last songs are unit songs. Matz is a song composed by two members (HongJoong and Seonghwa (Kinda heavy rap ish)) then we have IT’s you (Yeosang, San and Wooyoung’s unit song). Youth (composed by Mingi and Yunho) and Everything which is Jongho’s solo song and also a ballad, I really loved your reaction to this album though, it’s such an anthem-like album!!
@@diaphoni Who knows, the album in general feels a bit playful at least with the first couple of songs, like Crazy Form, Arriba, Emergency yk We know. But maybe he’ll like the instrumentals or the backing sounds of IT’s you. And maybe Jongho’s voice in everything will capture his attention a lot since that guy is so talented 😊
I've been a Stay for 5 years now and have only encountered 3 or 4 Ateez's songs that I like, so even if I wasn't very interested in these videos at first, it's kinda funny discovering them with you. Django and Wake up added to my playlist!
Thank you!! This was so fun to watch! LOVE how you point out different sounds! I think since I’m a singer myself I tend to focus more on the vocals and I miss some of the really cool sounds in the background. Can’t wait for you to check out more of Ateez! They have so many different sounding albums and like to play with different genres! Hope you’re thoroughly enjoying your journey. And welcome to the pirate ship! 🙂🫶🏻
So glad you enjoyed Ateez ❤ They use a lot of vocal effects in their tracks, but trust me, the boys CAN SING I'm going to see them live in January, still can't believe I managed to snatch the tickets but I'm hella excited, they are beasts on stage! FYI, Bouncy is the track that was promoted on this album - it has a really cool MV if you wanna check it out in your free time 😊
I fell in love with 'Wake up' after I watched it live. The performance is red lights-esque. Also, the leader who also participates in production is a huge Linkin park fan
Omg thank you for this ... honestly, I would just love to see you go through their entire discography at this point 😅 there are so, soo many songs I think you'd enjoy.
Yes! I think he’d be interested in all the different rock genres they include!! Especially after live and fall was such a rollercoaster haha (I mean this positively btw)
So excited for this, This World is one of my favourite ateez songs and I always found it reminds me of the band Muse. Dune and Bouncy are probably some of my favourites too. Definitely agree with the people saying to listen to the song Geurilla!
love how you reacted mostly to music in your first kpop videos, and now you're like "damn the vocals 🥹" LOVE IT!! and also thank you, my today's make-up turned out rly good, as always when watching your videos) still waiting the SKZ-REPLAY reaction 🤭
I am so happy you enjoyed this ep!! Its is soo good and very typically ateez. (Django is one of my favourites too). I don’t know their albums superrr well but I think you would enjoy ‘the world ep.1 movement’ and ‘the world ep.fin will’ They have some absolute bangers in there, especially Guerrilla, Matz and Sector 1! Also, ateez did an interview? type thing where they sung a load of their songs live. It’s called ‘Ateez killing voice’ on the ‘dingo music’ channel. It’s basically a free concert and their vocals in it are beautiful. It’s also a great way to hear a lot of their best songs! Can’t wait for the next video :)
Yessss. One of my favorite albums. So glad you reacted to this one. Ima have to put my vote in for The World Ep. 1: Movement just because I’m dying to see your reaction to Guerrilla. but the whole album is fantastic. Their sound is definitely unique and I am utterly captivated by them.
Heh, when he comments about an 80's thing on an Ateez album when they pronounced the same. Although I also like that some of the differences are a result of Ateez having a smaller company not used to producing music groups. One of my favourites was the anecdote about one of their lessons being singing on a treadmill bc a friend of their CEO who was a pt guy figured that'd make sense for vocal lessons. Then when the host thought it was a joke they began running on the spot singing.
I am so happy you listened to this album it is definitely my favorite Ateez album with Dune, Wake Up, and Outlaw being my top 3. I feel like a word to describe it is Dynamic. Next Ateez Album recommendation would be The World Ep. 1 Movement. I can’t wait to see you react to Cyberpunk and Guerilla.
So cool watching your reaction! You hear so many things I’ve missed. I’ve listen to this album hundreds of times (no exaggeration) the cartoon acme anvil falling sound I’ve never noticed! How have I never noticed that when it’s so obvious! Your fav songs on this and golden hour are the same as me. So I’ll say Guerilla and cyberpunk on world ep 1 you’ll love. But I recommend for the next one actually the world ep 3 fin.album. It’s got such a range of different styles and sounds (because Ateez did a few songs with only 1 or 2 or 3 members instead of all 8) so I kinda want to see your take on it next before movement ep 1: (it’s the better of the 2 I think) or the treasure series etc.. really hope you do the whole discography- Ateez doesn’t have any misses. Just ones you like a bit more then others - Or do treasure ep 2 next maybe.. Either way, great reaction, look forward to more
I know others have mentioned it, but it’s worth checking out the guides to their lore/storyline just so you can get the full vibe. Alternate universe dystopia vibes, so cool. Edit - seeing Wake Up in person blew me completely away. I mean, their whole concert had me in shock the whole time but that song was one of the moments where it was one of those out of body things where you’re like “this is one you’re gonna want to remember, this moment is iconic.”
Ollie is now on the profile pic of the channel !!🎉 For ATEEZ albums, I suggest : 1)The world ep 1 : the movement 2)The world ep. fin : will 3)Zero : fever, pt. 1
You definitely need to listen The World EP.1:Movement (my favorite one) and Halazia. And btw I like your videos. I'm discovering my favorite albums in a new way
I would LOVE if you reacted to Xikers, aka Ateez’s little brothers. They debuted over a year ago and are rookies, but their songs hit hard. The newest release isn’t a bad place to start. Lots of love!!!!!
Bell sound reminds me of very old fashioned alarm clock--the kind with 2 small bells sitting on top of a clock. Lots of siren and alarm sounds on this album--fitting the storyline on the nose.
Adding to all the other recs - The World Ep. 1: Movement! Also, there is a single, HALAZIA, between The World Eps 1 & 2... Halazia has a music video, so maybe you can watch that as well... MAIN REC - ATEEZ KILLING VOICE! Serving live vocals!
i don’t know if anyone’s pointed this out yet but, ateez also makes their own music!! nearly every track is co-written/produced by the group’s members Hongjoong and Mingi also, to toss another recommendation in here, i think you would really enjoy Yuta’s “Depth”!! he’s a japanese member of the k-pop group NCT 127 and his solo album has a whole lot of rock and some metal influence :)
The world ep 1 movement is an obvious choice. If you want to hear a bit of everything they offer, I'd recommend their killing voice. You'll get a really good idea of them from it and you've only heard 1 of the approx 15/20 tracks they sing.
I loved all the little details you picked up in the songs! It's such a cool EP! You should check out their latest Japanese release Birthday, it has a crazy soundscape! Ateez is the perfect ADHD brain fodder - there's so many unique sounds and switch ups, drops and anti-drops, sick beats and genres mixed in their music that their songs never get boring. And I love that they don't use that wall of sound to compensate for anything - all of their vocals are so unique and they are incredibly talented, it all just comes together perfectly. Will definitely check out your other reviews!
Their storyline is big so their videos are a must! Far less questions. Example…the chilli pepper reference is a bullet hidden inside of a chilli pepper he uses to take out the droid that’s always chasing them…seen not heard. As for songs they have tons but their debut Pirate King always hits.
I get what you mean about a no skip album but not any single to a playlist. (Bouncy is on my playlist though) It's meant to be listen to as a whole! I love this CD!!! So glad you finally checked it out! Def check out The World EP.1:Movement! Other rec would be Xdinary Heroes and their latest CD LIVE and FALL!! I'm obsessed, no skip album!!
Def The World Ep 1 next. Guerilla is one of my faves. I have a new game, which is predict when Tony will pull a stank face. Really enjoy your reactions. You love a good hard hitting base line and I’m here for that.
Thank you for this album reaction! Love this album. But this is the only Ateez album where I actually like the title track the least. I love Bouncy, but I love all B-sides even more, Wake Up being my favourite. Bouncy is the only one off this album that I've experienced live, at the Break The Wall concert last year. And it was 🔥 🔥 🔥 You mentioned this album being full of sounds and I agree. However if you wanna listen to a guitarist adding even more to it, you can check out guitar cover videos by thatkpopguitarist. He's a BIIIG Atiny, my favourite! And he's done more than 30 guitar covers of Ateez's songs. He does other groups' too, but mostly Ateez's. Whenever Ateez has a comeback, I get equally excited for his album reactions and guitar covers 😅 Timestamps to help me re-watch: 1. This World 0:18 2. Dune 7:46 3. Bouncy 12:20 4. Django 17:37 5. Wake Up 23:28 6. Outlaw 28:00
@tonystocco I know & I appreciate it! But I'm too lazy to make the extra effort to click on the description 😑. Easier to scroll down to my own comment 😂 also, I love to scroll n read others' comments as I listen
The World: Outlaw is a great album, no doubt. It is quirky and experimental. That said, The World: Movement is my favorite of the two. Overall, the album has a little more definitive cohesion, less "experimental-ness" (outside of The Ring), and the album "story" just flows from beginning to end. Almost like their very own "rock opera."
The World EP.1:Movement first because I need you to hear Guerilla!!!!! Then check out The World EP.Fin:Will
I second that!
Cyberpunk/Guerilla knock out!!!
Seconded!
Third!!!!
Agree!
The thumbnails just keep getting better and better.
they really do, i love it

I’ve never seen a group as dedicated to their storylines as ATEEZ
@@manarzh7460 XG also has a pretty cool alien vibe, they are a lot newer but they are consistent.
time traveling, dimension hopping, dictatorship breaking Pirates lol. It's so complex.
@@manarzh7460 Maybe, and I mean maybe, XG is as dedicated. But that's the only other one I can think of
ATEEZ use their own voices as instrumental a lot
Tony in his god tier thumbnail era❤😂

I screamed. I’m so excited we are here!!!!!!!! 🎉🎉 let’s go!
Thank you for giving Ateez a chance. Next album should be The World ep 1 Movement
Ateez have the best use of hard hitting edm in kpop, in my opinion to be clear, the songs are all so epic and grimey, i love it
Was about to go to bed, well cannot do that ANYMORE. GOTTA WATCH!
The lyrics make it even better because it tells a story from beginning to end. The outlaw life.
Their World Series are literally phenomenal!! I recommend checking out The World Ep.1: Movement and The World Ep:FIN Will

Guerilla and Halazia - their albums are something else
The World Ep.1: Movement I have feeling will be a favorite for you. Guerilla and Cyperpunk are very up your alley with your music taste
Adding to all the other recs - The World Ep. 1: Movement! Also, there is a single, HALAZIA, between The World Eps 1 & 2... Halazia has a music video, so maybe you can watch that as well...

Thank you!!!
My friend, welcome to the Staytiny world! I can't wait for you to see and listen to their performances together from Kingdom.
YEEEY! ILL BE WATCHING THIS WHEN I GET HOME 🙌🙌❤
Dune and Django are also my favourites, but the whole album is very, very good
I was all about Dune and Django after first listen. Now Bouncy is up there too.
Fuck yeah!!!!! I was so excited to see this pop up! ❤️🔥
LISTEN TO THE WORLD EP. FIN : WILL! love the vids
Gracias por reaccionar a mi grupo favorito!!! Ya me suscribí para ver más de ATEEZ contigo

AGGH!! I got so excited when I got this notification 🎉🎉
Oh heck yeah... The natural progression from SKZ to ATEEZ! 🤪😊
looooooooooooved this reaction!!! thank u ♥♥
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
One of my favorite Ateez albums! Great video. I really think you will like iNSTEAD! by Xdinary Heroes 👀
THIS IS ITTTTTT
YES ANOTHER ATEEZ REACTION
Thank you for this album reaction! Love this album. But this is the only Ateez album where I actually like the title track the least. I love Bouncy, but I love all B-sides even more, Wake Up being my favourite. Bouncy is the only one off this album that I've experienced live, at the Break The Wall concert last year. And it was 🔥 🔥 🔥
You mentioned this album being full of sounds and I agree. Whenever Ateez has a comeback, I get equally excited for his album reactions and guitar covers 😅
Timestamps to help me re-watch:
1. This World 0:18
2. Dune 7:46
3. Bouncy 12:20
4. Django 17:37
5. Wake Up 23:28
6. Outlaw 28:00
I always... I mean, I try to remember to add the timestamps in the video descriptions!
@tonystocco I know & I appreciate it! But I'm too lazy to make the extra effort to click on the description 😑. Easier to scroll down to my own comment 😂 also, I love to scroll n read others' comments as I listen
@@bronzepistachio Makes sense!
