Good video Parul and you did not say anything wrong about India. If I had seen this video in early 2019, I would have fought with you that india is growing and things are getting better. I had the reality check in late 2019 when I went to India on a one way flight. I had not lived in Canada, but studied and worked in US. I had offer for fully funded master;s in US in GRA , so I had nothing to loose but always wanted to return as I am attached to my parents. I came to India in 2019, worked on high paying positions, saving as much as 2 lacs per month in India but became depressed. The quality of life is bad in India, people are rude and things are uncertain. The issue is people who have never lived outside India don't realize this, as they think it is normal and this is how world works. My relatives mouth were open when they came to US and saw how cars stop for pedestrians, how ambulance gets way and how honest system is. In 2.5 years, i was fed up and gave interviews for positions in Europe and Canada and left for Canada on work visa. I had an offer from Sweden, but since I already had an ongoing for PR in Canada, I chose Canada. Within 4 months of landing in Canada, I have a car, rental property, received PR status last month and parents also came here last week. I still miss US at times, but have to acknowledge that within 4 months of landing, Canada gave me a lot.

This is my third year in Canada. i still have 2.5 years left to complete my undergraduate. My mental health is so bad and I am struggling academically due to this. During first year I had all As and now i am barely passing. I don't feel happy here. I want to go back but I am afraid to drop out and go back to India. I don't know what to do :(

Good video Parul and you did not say anything wrong about India. If I had seen this video in early 2019, I would have fought with you that india is growing and things are getting better. I had the reality check in late 2019 when I went to India on a one way flight. I had not lived in Canada, but studied and worked in US. I had offer for fully funded master;s in US in GRA , so I had nothing to loose but always wanted to return as I am attached to my parents. I came to India in 2019, worked on high paying positions, saving as much as 2 lacs per month in India but became depressed.
The quality of life is bad in India, people are rude and things are uncertain. The issue is people who have never lived outside India don't realize this, as they think it is normal and this is how world works. My relatives mouth were open when they came to US and saw how cars stop for pedestrians, how ambulance gets way and how honest system is.
In 2.5 years, i was fed up and gave interviews for positions in Europe and Canada and left for Canada on work visa. I had an offer from Sweden, but since I already had an ongoing for PR in Canada, I chose Canada. Within 4 months of landing in Canada, I have a car, rental property, received PR status last month and parents also came here last week. I still miss US at times, but have to acknowledge that within 4 months of landing, Canada gave me a lot.

This is my third year in Canada. i still have 2.5 years left to complete my undergraduate. My mental health is so bad and I am struggling academically due to this. During first year I had all As and now i am barely passing. I don't feel happy here. I want to go back but I am afraid to drop out and go back to India. I don't know what to do :(
