If an industry that has billions of dollars pumping through wants someone to fry, someone's going to fry.

@@AnDr3w066 Half agree. Equal parts of blame to go around here. Also... "I do not support (×). I don't. I do not endorse it. So what (×) do you guys want? How old are you guys?" Wow. No words.
@@thegrimharvest not at all. An adult is doing something legal that it is for him to do and he is streaming a gambling game on a platform that is supported by that. The streamer is not a babysitter. That is on the parents. As far as P goes. The age verification process is up to site to monitor not the streamer. He is just entertaining. The responsibility is on the parents to make sure kids don’t watch adin ross. The responsibility to age gate his stream for gambling and p is on the platform.
@@AnDr3w066 Agree the platform should have some form of age verification, fair point. Didn't cross my mind that the end user could be required to age verify. If the site uses an age verification system more substantial than "what year were you born in? Are you sure you were born in 1927? Promise? Ok. Good enough." Then, yes, under those circumstances, I would agree the streamer doesn't have the obligation to make sure his stream isn't being viewed by minors. It would be reasonable to expect that the website had done the basic due diligence to prevent such a problem. And if minors were able to get around the site's good faith reasonable attempt to prevent access, then the fault lies 100% on the parents. If the age verification is "Are you 18 yes no? Is it legal to view this in your location yes no?" and we're going with "the honor system", sure, it's still largely the parents' fault, but Id say that the streamer still holds some accountability. 80/20 split parents/streamer, even 90/10, but the streamer still ought to bear some small part of it. Just my take. Granted, the site itself would/should bear responsibility too, but they might be able to legalese their way out of responsibility by dumping the blame onto the individual streamer, and odds are they almost certainly would, if they could. What I find interesting, from the clip provided, is him asking for everyone's ages involved. To be fair, that might've been a joke on his part, and I simply didn't pick up on it. Because what it looked like, at least to me, was that he was uncertain about the age range of his audience and was trying to CYA. I still find it absurd to claim not to support something, then turn around and ask your audience if they want you to engage in or interact with that exact same thing, but that's just me trying to be consistent. I'm not in the position of a streamer being dependent on keeping an audience. But even if I was, I still wouldn't livestream "gently caressing" videos, especially if there's any chance a minor was watching my stream. I wouldn't want to get invited with a no knock Party Van surprise mechanic and have to deal with the possible legal consequences. I especially wouldn't want to try my luck in court with "but the kid clicked yes twice, your honor!" defense. That, and the fact I don't support or endorse it, and even if I did, I still wouldn't be livestreaming it for an audience of people I know absolutely nothing about. That's asking for trouble and seems entirely unnecessary, especially if I was making my bank from promoting gambling to crypto bros and addicts (arbitrary Patrick Star "what's the difference?" joke)
@@thegrimharvest again the streamer literally doesn’t. The streamers job and responsibility is to entertain that is it. A streamer has no responsibility to some minor with bad parents. The streamer has no responsibility to what age verification methods that a platform should implement. That is the responsibility of the platform since its their platform. Its unrealistic to put an entertainer into a guardian position over complete strangers.
@@TheDarkResurge maybe not so much a scam, but money laundering perhaps? It could be argued as a scam as they are promoting themselves as a platform by the streamer for the streamer when it's a possibility it's just to advertise gambling ( especially if it gets proven a big investor 9f theirs is a gambling site which as was pointed out in this video there is already a link pointing too that).
@@TheDarkResurge its literally gambling first of all. and second, the streamers get higher chances and even money to gamble, from the online casinos, so it looks for people watching, like you can win more. I see the potential with Kick, but I had this exact thought earlier today. I think they could potentially have the money to sustain things for quite a while, honestly depending how far in the red they're willing to go. But the bad apples are going to end up spoiling the bunch. Adin Ross is picking some insanely weird hills to die on, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up banned on Kick too at some point.
He can already be banned on Kick for streaming adult content, live sports is also banned..... they just don't enforce it becausae they need an audience so they can go to advertisers and say "look how many viewers you can advertise to" and then the advertisers will say "you need rules against XYZ, then we're in" This is EXACTLY what YT did. They built a "lawless" environment to attract people, and then once they had them, they started killing off competitors before they get get started, while simultaneously eliminating the "bad apples" that interfere with advertiser money. Except now they have a market share that's so large that they switched to Phase 2: transforming YT into the next "host body" for MSM, hollywood, and elite-controlled entertainment. The entire point of Google buying YT those years ago was to eventually turn it into the next tv where they get to decide who gets famous, when, for what reasons, and just generally control the "fame apparatus". Independent creators was NOT the actual intent, and is in fact the WORST thing to have in Google's YT, because they can't control information or the spreading of "unapproved knowledge". While Stake isn't google, and they might not have the "phase 2" they will still need to take on advertisers OR peddle gambling to literal children in order to maintain the "95/5" split... which is unsustainable otherwise. And peddling gambling to children is something they WILL be answering to governments for (and so that won't last).
Active growth on Kick is insane as well. I hope Kick succeeds because they make the requirements for affiliate extremely easy. It's only 75 followers and 5 hours of streaming which for the followers will just flow like a river once they start following.

Gambling is not merely banned for no reason but since mass of fans of this dunce are also on a risk of becoming gambling addicts and ruin their lives, it's a good thing twitch banned it... and Adin.

Honestly hope some of these new companies actually see some success. Twitch and TH-cam need some competition, having basically monopolies allows them to do whatever they want and ignore their communities and creators.
Yep I agree, competition is good, and twitch has been top dog for way too long. A little good competition will hopefully force twitch to get their act together
I think the only think you may have missed is the fact some 'advertisers' just don't care; I can honestly see kick getting filled with adverts for random shady start-ups and and popups saying 'horny women are in your area'. If they don't care about what content is being shown on their platform, why would they care who they advertise? Money is money, and as long as it doesn't directly compete with Stake there's no reason to worry about what the mainstream advertisers would want.
Had a radio host make the decision to move from twitch to kick because of the financial push and 95% and same day incentive. And even went as far as trying to convince me to stream there. Saying that you could stream whatever you want to kick as well. Eventually I gave up just trying to illustrate the point when they not only the radio host but the entire subset of creator's he was pulling were roasting me because I was an idiot for not moving to kick. I just prefer to not put all my eggs in one basket for it to drop out of said basket. History repeats itself after mixer.
It's the law of last platform. Any new service will immediately be swarmed by people banned off the last platform unless they enact the same stuff that kicked off those banned people and fail to distinguish themselves in the process. This is why getting ban-happy is never a good idea. You punt these people off into the dark corners of the internet where they take refuge and breed.
I think we can all agree that it doesn't matter what type of music they're playing, If they're palying it loud on a speaker in public places they are the worst.
Thinking about copyrighted material not being able to be streamed, it reminds me of how I got called a complete and total dunderhead (in the mean way) because I didn’t know rickroll was copyrighted. I was just upset you couldn’t rickroll streamers anymore, I didn’t know this copyright all songs on twitch thing was such a big deal. They didn’t have to be so harsh about it, though...
This is mainly a problem with DMCA and ridiculous copyright around music. Twitch would get a crazy amoutn of DMCA notices so they mute your vods if you play copyrighted music.

Kick is blitzscaling, like Mixer. Once thr growth slows down, Stake and the other investors will push for profitability and Kick's split will end up being just as high as Twitch's
If Kick is really taking such a laissez faire approach to moderation on copyrighted materials, there's a good chance that its not running out of money from investors/sponsors that does it in. I can see them being done in by being stripped of their section 230 protections for failing to moderate in good faith, thus opening the floodgates to being sued alongside their streamers.
Well, it'll likely stick around as long as it's based offshore, which it almost certainly is. It'll be interesting how long it lasts as a loss leader, though.
But in all seriousness, isn't it kind of stupid that streamers have to rely on Twitch or TH-cam. Why maintain the status quo of advertisers being spooked by loose canons? Why not push for a world where newer brands come through on these platforms with minimal amounts of censorship and hopefully overtake the big brands. Isn't that the point? To not let bigger corporations tell us what is good, safe and what isn't? I really want to state that I feel disappointed going online today. I've deleted Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. And I've never really used Twitch either. Content creators on TH-cam get strikes for no reason and they are always in fear for their livelihoods. I want to live in a world where Gillette has no choice but to advertise on a platform even if the content is risky because otherwise Manscape can take away its market share. I dont want to live in a world where TH-cam is controlled by what Gillette's PR team agrees with and disagrees with.
Because of the same reason you are here. TH-cam is just pure monopoly at this point, even if you wanted to go to another site, there wouldnt be content. Its sad but its the truth
"I want to live in a world where people have to pay for my megaphone and where people can't ignore my hatespeech." TH-cam clowns like yourself need to tone down on that makeup.
The major advantage for those platforms is Economy of Scale, as media encoding and distributing (especially video and real-time streaming in various qualities and resolutions) is costly (TH-cam was still a net lose for Google for years). Nobody can afford these costs (Google could support as it helped increasing advertising business and stuff), making it almost impossible for newer brands to survive for at least a year! The same goes for moderation, as announcers will still prefer not advertising than advertising on risky markets (philosophy of association...).
@@hunterklaras8043 the TOS if enforced and with proper moderation would prohibit suggestive content. But on Twitch, there are alot of Artist who draw Soft-Core Porn, along with Vtubers with bonga donkers.
I had this sneaking suspicion when I started seeing the articles popping up around Kick. Checked it out once just to see the categories and of course "slots" was the top category. Then after seeing an article with Adin Ross attached to it that basically gave it all away right there.
Hearing Adin Ross butcher the description of the ol' axe & bundle was like hearing a little kid read about how a library works but they don't know what a "wibarian" is.
I was just about to say. Adin the guy who tried to be the next Sneako and Tate's left hand, and now his master mind daddy is now in prison all the little Tate clones are all now headless chickens trying to figure out what went wrong
@@MRbug_423 Very funny how you blame everything on Tate. Let me guess. It's also Trump's fault? The problem is young men not knowing what to do with their lives. They have no purpose, or at least have the feeling they have none. But Adin isn't the smartest, that's 1 thing. Can't even read lel
@MRbug he's in jail hasnt been convicted because there isn't enough evidence to do so, so the Romainian Government is holding him and keep extending his court date until either they find enough evidence to convict him or reach the maximum limit of days they can legally hold him for
quite the opposite, he got a 140m deal and his physique looks better then it ever did. You can say his mindsets bad all you want but saying it ruined his life is a complete lie
It's common knowledge that trains in Japan are literally treated like a library so if you're in there blasting music and being loud someone is going to ask you to shut up especially if you're a tourist.
Thank you Muta for saying EXACTLY what I was trying to scream into the void of TH-cam comment sections. This is ALL about Train getting back into gambling and profiting off children. Adin is already doing slots and gambling on Kick. Stake lost a fortune not having the Twitch avenue to promote anymore since Twitch banned Stake, and so Train the degenerate is now teaming up with this shady "Stake" corporation to get his gambling addiction going again. Stake has enough money to get DRAKE to sabotage his image by partnering with Stake (a company out of a shack in curaçao) so you know they are laundering and passing 100s of millions around. They can offer such huge bags that they are making people like Adin just go for the money because that's all Adin cares about. ADIN ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY.... not people or fans or "being a better person to be a better role model". Put money in front of Adin and he fumbles and caves every time..... kid is an imbecile
adin will flee to romania. i swear alot of these major gambler promoters are playing a different version of the slots games, there's no way you can play the way they do and always somehow end up with more money. it doesn't add up.
@DaddyBear88 I was watching that roshtein guy yesterday on kick out of morbid curiosity and it's basically just him saying "1 more game" literally 80 times and somehow he would get a big hit. I think the sports bets are real and somehow the slot games are rigged to compensate.. I'd love it if someone on the inside spilled the beans but chances are everyone on the inside is corrupt
If Kick is owned by Stake then money won't be a problem for them at all. Kick becoming a solid competitor to Twitch and getting more notoriety (ideally for good news and not Adin idiots) also brings attention to Stake by seeing how many people are using it on Kick = more money. The 95/5 split honestly makes me want to start streaming cause SHEEEEEEESH
The only issue is copyright lawsuits is bound to happen. There's going to have to be a TOS at some point to prevent copyright issues and loss of money caused by lawsuits. I am all for this streaming site to be success since Twitch and TH-cam is getting too greedy and corrupt, without actual competition, they'll just stick to their ways.
@@Griza_bella Oh definitely the TOS and enforcement of it needs some work. Hopefully the lawsuits would fall on the streamers for breaking the TOS and not damage Kick as much, but I'm not a lawyer.
So if Kick goes under that means Adin’s career basically does as well, atleast he’ll be recognized globally as the first man ever to reach negative IQ points
I get that people want Twitch to have competition (and they do need it), but I really wish they kept that same energy while Mixer was around. It was far superior to Twitch in every way but sheer numbers. For a brief moment, Twitch seemed to have a fire under their ass with the Ninja buyout. Sadly, not much has changed since Mixer went under almost 3 years ago... Now we have Kick and...who thought this was a good idea? It's just Twitch but worse. Even if the revenue split is better, it won't matter if you can't find revenue in the first place.
Muta, you, your videos, your content is some of the best on the internet. We appreciate you and how far you have come in terms of switching gears when you had to (making different types of videos) the deep web browsing will always be my favorite (specifically the deep sighs of disappointment when you came across Jesus facepalm quality stuff) keep it up bro you are the GOAT 🐐
When I first looked at kick the first thing I saw was a gambling stream, it’s not like it was just off to the side no it was front and center on the featured tab and below that was the top category and low and below there was a section for gambling. So yeah from what I’ve seen it’s just a version of twitch that supports gambling
If it wasn't for Charlie and Muta, I wouldn't have known these internet spectacles even existed! I TA for 6th graders and even they know how to say words like 'ultranationalist'. I guess the saying: "Just because something is popular doesn't make it right", really shines here.
To elaborate, most of these successful streamers probably have little to no real life experience prior to blowing up on the internet. They are basically children thrown into a life of instant wealth and fame.
People like Adin Ross actually make me lament for the human race. I can't even express how much it actually hurt seeing Adin talk (or at least try to) and knowing that at no point in his life will the thought ever cross his mind to try and improve himself.
Why are you so mad about this person he seems like a nice dude and trying to motivate others to do their best. Yours hurting because you're still in with your mother and getting bad grades
@@hezi5729 I like how your only defence for this guy is he has more money than you so your just jealous. Like having money gives people automatic good person sticker. Ever heard of I dunno Charles Manson, Hitler, Epstein all very rich people who were complete scumbag criminals. Putin is probably richer than Adin Ross doesn't make him some sort of role model lol.
Why do these people never have any self awareness? I've never seen anyone who got kicked off a platform saying they know why they got kicked off. I've never seen anyone who got kicked off of TH-cam or twitch it Twitter or anything come out and basically said 'oops my bad shouldn't have said/did that stuff'. It's always other people. Other people are woke or can't deal with the 'realness' or whatever.
The only thing I do disagree with is the "private company free speech" argument, I believe major sites like TH-cam, Google, Twitter etc with millions of daily users SHOULD be more lenient on free speech, as the internet turns more into an essential tool in our lives. Obviously banning the extremes, but free speech is necessary. An example would be the bans on TH-cam videos relating with COVID information not aligning with CDC's guidelines when their "guidelines" and research changed so much since 2020
Roam was not built in a day. Great things take time. Twitch is like 15 years old. I'm sure in time Kick will do VERY well. Might even be a project that will one day interest you
The funny part of Adin breaking TOS on kick by going to the hub is he is breaking more then one form of TOS because most if not all the videos on the hub are copyrighted works lol. Unless he is pausing the video and providing commentary lol. Also as Critikal pointed out he knowingly streamed porn knowing kids are watching his stream. That is breaking laws on showing inappropriate material to kids. The question comes in is that it was reported he had his stream titled as 18+, so could he be legally held liable. I don't know much on kick but do they have an age setting for streams so under 18 wouldn't be able to access or an age requirement 18 or above ( because from how Critikal described the sight you apparently can just get blasted with porn on the front page lol). If not then I think Kick itself can be legally held liable for a lawsuit.
yes, you can get "pron" straigth from the home page, whey you click on one of the streams its does give you the clasic " are you 18+?" but the thing is that the thumbnail shows chicks getting railed... on the home page before you even get the chance of login in or confirm your age in any way
@lucki I checked out the site, and since it does ask for age verification I suppose that would give him and the kick team legal leeway. As Marvin said the problem comes with the thumbnails, then unless they change the site to ask if you are 18+ right away or make sure if anyone labels their stream 18+ to not have their thumbnails out in a spot where no "unverified" age person can see ( like how people tried to argue for twitch make an exclusive mature section) lol.

Adin Ross is a perfect example of why not everyone should have a platform
Now that I'm an adult, him playing actual porn to a bunch of his presumably teen audience is so weird. As a teen I would have thought it was funny. But now it's just weird

Also...
"I do not support (×). I don't. I do not endorse it. So what (×) do you guys want? How old are you guys?"
Wow.
Promise? Ok. Good enough."
Then, yes, under those circumstances, I would agree the streamer doesn't have the obligation to make sure his stream isn't being viewed by minors.

I see the potential with Kick, but I had this exact thought earlier today. But the bad apples are going to end up spoiling the bunch. Adin Ross is picking some insanely weird hills to die on, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up banned on Kick too at some point.
He can already be banned on Kick for streaming adult content, live sports is also banned..... they just don't enforce it becausae they need an audience so they can go to advertisers and say "look how many viewers you can advertise to" and then the advertisers will say "you need rules against XYZ, then we're in"
This is EXACTLY what YT did.

Trouble? You meant to say viewers.

I applaud you for using laissez-faire
Its sad but its the truth
i ain’t reading allat
Lol Gillette's PR team's budget probably dwarfs the entirety of Manscapes valuation. Not even close. Money talks.
"I want to live in a world where people have to pay for my megaphone and where people can't ignore my hatespeech."
TH-cam clowns like yourself need to tone down on that makeup.

Andrew Tate really brainwashed him lol
Thanks for clarifying who Drake was. I didn’t know who he was
Muta, you, your videos, your content is some of the best on the internet. We appreciate you and how far you have come in terms of switching gears when you had to (making different types of videos) the deep web browsing will always be my favorite (specifically the deep sighs of disappointment when you came across Jesus facepalm quality stuff) keep it up bro you are the GOAT 🐐
At the end of the day, if I don't hear muta say "at the end of the day" then factually it's just not "the end of the day"
After learning that Adin Ross is unable to read, maybe that was the reason he broke Twitch's TOS. He literally did not understand the TOS.
Also besides the super bowl, I would imagine people would have used this to stream the Premier League in England if that rule was not put in place.
Is it just me or does every streamer who gets banned go to some third party website just for it to fail a few months down the line?
When I first looked at kick the first thing I saw was a gambling stream, it’s not like it was just off to the side no it was front and center on the featured tab and below that was the top category and low and below there was a section for gambling. So yeah from what I’ve seen it’s just a version of twitch that supports gambling
Oh Jeez Rick, I can't Believe Muta's Moving To Kick.
If it wasn't for Charlie and Muta, I wouldn't have known these internet spectacles even existed! I TA for 6th graders and even they know how to say words like 'ultranationalist'. I guess the saying: "Just because something is popular doesn't make it right", really shines here.
The first time I think I've heard of kick was from a batman parody of Joel haver's "Joker's most devious plan yet"
They are beginning to realize that life isn't all rainbows and butterflies when everything isn't handed to you on a silver platter.
To elaborate, most of these successful streamers probably have little to no real life experience prior to blowing up on the internet. They are basically children thrown into a life of instant wealth and fame.
Well it better be
Aiden Ross always seemed like that one kid from high school that never grew up and is still a jackass in his 20’s lol
It's astonishing how much adins entire personality has changed after hanging out with the Tate Brothers.
hes always been like this if anything got better and started working on himself after he met them
Why we acting like doing pushups is a bad thing???
"What do you all want to watch?"
*Pulls up PHub*
"Wait how old are you all?"
"I hate getting confused." Same
People like Adin Ross actually make me lament for the human race. I can't even express how much it actually hurt seeing Adin talk (or at least try to) and knowing that at no point in his life will the thought ever cross his mind to try and improve himself.
He more successful than you’ll ever be in your life. He has more money than your entire bloodline. Let that sink in. I think he’s good.
Why are you so mad about this person he seems like a nice dude and trying to motivate others to do their best. Yours hurting because you're still in with your mother and getting bad grades
@@hezi5729 We'll see in 3 years, how successful he is. Can't wait for the sunny V2 vid on him.
@@hyperdude144ill bet hes still pulling 100k+ in 3 years
Why do these people never have any self awareness? I've never seen anyone who got kicked off a platform saying they know why they got kicked off. I've never seen anyone who got kicked off of TH-cam or twitch it Twitter or anything come out and basically said 'oops my bad shouldn't have said/did that stuff'. It's always other people. Other people are woke or can't deal with the 'realness' or whatever.
They know why. They just disagree which is the woke bs that people get tired of.
@@AnDr3w066 not touching my point but thanks for playing.
@@Lanier2369 I did. Sorry you couldn’t keep up. It happens with the emotional types
well if you have multiple infractions, that other people aren't being kicked off for, then you really don't know what the exact thing was.
Wait its called Kick? My god I thought KIK was making a comeback LMAOO
Might even be a project that will one day interest you
Dude in Tokyo was a douche but the Skilled slander was uncalled for
He ruined dubstep and that video is a perfect example of his fans that helped ruin said genre.
If not then I think Kick itself can be legally held liable for a lawsuit.
just like the super bowl and there is worse actors on there and to bring an audience of 13 and below
yes, you can get "pron" straigth from the home page, whey you click on one of the streams its does give you the clasic " are you 18+?" but the thing is that the thumbnail shows chicks getting railed... on the home page before you even get the chance of login in or confirm your age in any way
@@marvingomez9564 still he knows his audience is underaged and the "are you 18+" is a stupid legal safety net
@@TheCommanderTaco at this point twitch can be considered better
Came here for Muta’s take on the situation and didn’t leave disappointed. Greatest YT’r alive ❤
Bro just copies penquinz.
@@EquinoxGate if you watch either to form your opinion unironically, you're just admitting to being an algorithm slave LOL
The saddest part about this is that Adin Ross is currently spreading transphobia and binarism on Kick, as of this comment.
Adin Ross in 1 stream killed Kicks reputation
I wonder if Kick uses the leaked Twitch Source code
Mixer had the backing of Microsoft and it failed. What chance does this site have?
This whole time I thought people were talking about Kik
Same with me lol
Me as well, thought they'd become a streaming platform lmao..
*goes to Japan*
"Speak English"
"No"
"R@€ist!"
This whole time I thought they were talking about KIK not Kick.
