This worked. I can't belive they made such a design oversight, if I take the capsule too early I may burn myself with hot water, if I wait too long for it to cool down it will break the machine
Thanks, your advice fixed my issue. My machine was brand new, untouched , and the capsule tray wouldn't come off. I switched on the machine waited for it to warm up and then ran hot water through it and then was fine to take out.

I put a white brand capsule in started the machine... came out a little then nothing ... Wanted to open to change the capsule for another one but it i could not lift the leaver up to open ... Problem is something blocks the exit of the capsule and enormous pressure builds up (enough that you can't open)!!! take a needle or toothpick and stich it into the exit of the capsule to release the pressure then run som hot water after that and it should open ... Dont force the leaver you may break something inside Well it worked for me hope it solves the problem for you aswell 😊

I have had the same problem. I managed to open it by opening and closing the lid a few times, when the lid was closed I moved the lever to the left and right. When the lid was open I wiggled the tray and eventually the tray came out. I didn't use any excess force at any time just perseverance.

When the cycle strated the light flashing red and nothing comes out I took the tool it bring and clean it it passes to the other side so it's not clogged but the water or coffee still doesn't come out I took the defuse plate and put it in viniger and still don't Brew no coffee comes out and light flashing red what can I do now should I buy another and toss it or is it fixable
That worked for me but the annoyance of trying to get it open and it's stuck and not knowing what to do. My suggestion is to remove the used capsule straight away so you don't come across the situation ever again.

Could be you dont have a genuine diffuser. Try applying a bit of vegetable oil on the diffuser rubber, especially on the edges. The rubber used is a crude one and does...
Tried all that it's still stuck ..and no light coming on to even warm capsule up..its a reusable pod that I haven't even used yet was seeing if it fit and now can't open it back 😢
Thanks, unfortunately this didn’t work for me as I was (stupidly) using eBay bought re usable capsules, filled with my own coffee. I think the capsule lid has slightly opened maybe, and wedged the capsule inside :(

Hi Carla. I think you have a lose spring in the mechanism of the unit's head or some some plastic part got broken and got stuck. You have to open the unit, remove the covers and see what is going on.

Fixed it! (Unplugged obviously, I ended up sliding a knife in the top of the tray, and after a bit of aggression, it came free!)
