DIY Macrame Bookmarks With Tassel | Macrame Tutorials
Hi Macrame Lovers...
This is Trini ID's first macrame bookmark tutorial. I use a diamond pattern combined with a double half hitch pattern. I also added a macrame tassel on top of the bookmark.
The following materials are needed to make this Macrame Bookmark:
1. 1.5mm cotton rope
1 x 180 cm (natural white)
3 x 160 cm (natural white)
2 x 30 cm (for making gathering knots)
for the tassel, use a piece of string left over from the bookmark pattern
2. Scissors
The final size of this macrame bookmark is: 23 cm long x 3 cm wide, while the length of the tassel is about 10 cm
The knots used to make this Macrame bookmark are: Lark's Head Knot, Double Half Hitch Knot/Clove hitch knot, Gathering knot/wrapping knot and snake knot.
