So we play as a cute little cat living in the citaaaay who just wants to go home, but ya know, exploring and stuff first is better!
Achievements wise, they are genuinely easy but it is a lot going on, in terms of things like finding 3 bones for dogs, 5 cardboard boxes, 42 hats, 10 birds nests and much more!
But you can complete the game and still free roam afterwards so nothing is truly missable :)

FYI to you and anyone else going for Little Picker- there's a trick where if you meow RIGHT after clicking X to deposit, you drop the can but it counts you recycled it, so you can repeat it with one can over and over

16:40 for anyone going for the local celebrity achievement, just make the people with a phone trip and fall then wait by their feet, as soon as the prompt goes from "press x (to pickup their cellphone)" to "press x to nuzzle", press x. Then as theyre walking away spam the y/meow button. They will take a picture.
Works everytime, must be a glitch.

The recycle 100 items achievement is a bit of a pain but the rest of the game is great fun of they could tweak the jumping/controls to make it more fluids
I beat this on the 10th and I literally said to one of my friends "I betcha Welsh is gonna have a guide for this within the next couple days"

For those trying to get Fruit Fall achievement. Save the game quit to the menu and go back in. Got it 1st try by standing on the table and pushing a banana on the floor.
Or you could just knock all of the bananas off of the stand, pick one up, and set it in front of someone so that they trip. Idk why people say u gotta walk around the area and bring it back.
1:02:35 in the grocery store if you wear the watermelon hat the worker won’t go after you unless you’re taking something
With the Fruit Fall achievement, I got it by accident when picking up a banana off the stand. A different banana flew off the stand and made a human trip lol. So, I guess that's another way to do it if people are having issues with it.
10/10 guide! Everything worked perfectly.
Fruit fall is easy if you stand on the table next to the Mayor and THROW the banana AT THE PERSON.
How do you “throw” a banana? I tried all buttons
Stand on the table and swipe with your paw like knocking over flower pots, just as a human approaches. You can do the bunches too, and the shopkeeper should put them back up there.

I started the game a couple of hours you upoad the guide and I made the terrible mistake of leaving the construction zone without moving the box... Luckly I found a video with a glitch that let you get to that zone again! xD! Next time I will wait the guide lol!

The 10 nests achievement is broken for alot people , myself included , meaning 2 - 3 playthroughs to get it to unlock. Apparently a decent speed run for getting the 10 nests is 30 - 45 min.... guess I'm trying again one night this week (unless the dev fixes it)
Lol love how the EXACT 2 achievements that are all I need were the very last 2 in the guide as well. Guess not surprising considering they’re the hardest
Oops. I think I soft-locked the game. After going through the portal for the first time and jumping in the trash can on the other side around 26:00 - I somehow GLITCHED through the wall back onto the other side and cannot get through the portal again. It is sealed with no swirls and the raccoon thanks me for helping with the experiment! :(

I said this with Stray too, but we need more dog games.
Birds nest #6 glitched for me as well. However, in post game i went back and it respawned, this time it registered so i saved myself having to restart.
The video is wrong, the nest is not on the floor. Rather it is right above on the pipes on the building. You will need to climb to the roof and drop down to get it.
@@MickCarruthersYour comment saved me a lot of frustration 'cause I kept reloading and the birds nest didn't spawn on the ground. Went up on the roof, dropped down to the pipes and there it was indeed. Thanks for the tip!

@1:20:09 I have two extractor fans stacked on top of each other, preventing me from jumping and getting to the Ivy. On your playthrough you only have one fan giving you the ledge. Have I missed something or is it a glitch?

I had the game glitch on me at the same spot (sticky business 5/10) but the game decided to autosave while I was in the Bruce Willis vent of doom. had to start all over!
The 6th birds nest at (sticky business 6/10) didn't spawn for me!

if you look up, that bird nest is up on the pipes. You can grab it going up after the soccer ball

I almort finished all the to-do and achievements but 1:41:57 i don’t get another hole so can’t travel to another side of the maps :(((((
For fruit fall, I went to a new save file, hit it off instead of picking it up and it popped first try.
Edit: A weird thing happened when I went back to my main save. It popped up on the in game thing without me even being close to the bananas.
Thanks again Welsh! This was one of the first games in awhile I explored on my own before checking in, but like half of these achievements I wouldn't have completed on my own (fuck that last rubber duck lol). Also fuck these game controls lol
Anyone else’s raccoon glitched out?
Apparently the glitch is triggered when you get the fish from the crow before doing the raccoon quest
Yeah my racoon isn't there effectively locking me out of most of the game bc I need the portals lol
yes i had the glitch what helped me was i stood next to the raccoon and quit to main menu and joined again

FML shortly after you said you glitched into a room with no way out, you quit came back in and all good... I glitched into a vent while eating the fish in the store. The vent has no exits and it reloads me right back in there so I guess I'm not finishing this game... booooo.

Most of the game is unskippable cutscenes and quick time events. You're better off just using a written guide like the one on TA with step-by-step button prompts.
Heads up, running through that game by the third time is absolutely draining. So slow, all the same despite choices, and if you miss something and get a checkpoint, you’re pretty well screwed for the playthrough

Used to love his guides but I just like the get to the point guides now without jokes and sexual innuendos all the way through... Just seems to put on for me. It's not disrespectful it's just an opinion =) an each to their own
