Also, keeping those large HD ziplocks bags for when babies get poopage exploogies, and you need to change them into new clothes, you put the pooped clothing into ziplock so doesnt make mess of anything haha.
@@RonKwok Glad to hear it. Watching EDC "Dad Gear" videos has helped me decide what I actually need each day rather than what I think I need. I love cool gear but it's the gear that helps me in my role as dad and husband that I am growing to appreciate the most. God bless you and your family, man!
Awesome video, I am starting on this new world about slings and EDC, and I appreciate a video talking about essentials for babies. Me as a dad of two girls, 5 and 2 years old. Thanks!
A cooler tote is my preferred dad method of carry. Waterproof, easy clean up, good size but not too big, plus you could have the baby sit on it while wearing it like a baby sling.
Great tip here, especially when it gets real hot and you need to keep things cool. I’ve seen hip bags with a hard top specifically to set babies on while you’re holding them, but a cooler tote seems just as effective and probably 100x more budget friendly 😂
Great video as always and an awesome loadout for carrying the basic essentials for kids while on the go; while I don't have kids myself, I can appreciate from my friends who do the importance of having a clean diaper or change of clothes handy when needed. As always, your videos are a great resource for the EDC community to help them be prepared for whatever life throws at them! - Justin @ Vanquest
Cool to see a dad bag!!! Mine are 4 and 10 so I'm thankful I don't need diapers anymore. They still need stuff so I still carry a bag when we are out. When my kids were little I used to keep a packing cube of all the stuff in the car and took a small bag like this in the store for emergencies. Changed a few diapers in the back of the truck a few times.
@@RonKwok 😂😂 My daughter is into backpacks and slings so she is always looking for one of mine. Wipes, snacks, and a change of clothes are a must. After that entertainment. I always have. A truck or a dinosaur in my bag somewhere
Great video!! As a father of a 16 year old, my carry needs are different. But that is the fun, seeing how what you carry changes as the kids grow. Keep up the great work 👊
I feel you on that! This already pushes the limits of the bag and the loadout runs into problems with multiple kids, extended outings, etc. I appreciate you!
Great vid! Not a dad yet but Feb 6th, that changes! Was trying to check out the sling in the link and nothing comes up on their website 😢 I saw its preorder so maybe that’s why?
@@RonKwok Thanks man it’s going to be great! I’m pumped! Sounds good! Love that the bag opens and is kind of gusseted to open really wide….any other bags you know of that open similarly?
We have 3 and when the trio were younger, I simply used a TD Dopp bag and shoved 12 diapers in it-good for 4 changes, bottom balm and a few wipes. Turned every bag into a diaper bag. No lie, I just grabbed each one on their cubby thigh- their body nicely supported on my forearm-and changed them on my leg/thigh-with my knees raised up like Daniel-Son about to crane kick- removed the soiled diaper with my other free hand- close it up and tossed in the trash. I would then use the family bathroom faucet and rinse each baby with soap n running water and have a new diaper ready to go. 20 seconds for each 👧🏻👦🏻👧🏻And in about a minute I’m back outside with the triplets 😂
I watch all your videos and funny enough this is probably the most relevant one to me I have watched 😂 I have a 4 and 1 year old. Nearly out of the nappy stage which will save a lot of room. One thing that I didn’t see that I try to have which often rules out a sling is a water bottle for each. Any suggestions?
I appreciate the love, and glad you resonate with the dad content. I’d definitely opt for a backpack if two bottles are required, no recs right now, but the daddy day pack v2 will definitely be a backpack 🙌
@keventorres1244 it’s handy in the beginning when you don’t have a good grasp on exactly how many diapers and other essentials you need but once you get used to it, time to size down 👍
Also, keeping those large HD ziplocks bags for when babies get poopage exploogies, and you need to change them into new clothes, you put the pooped clothing into ziplock so doesnt make mess of anything haha.
That’s smart, keeping those soiled clothes separate from the clean stuff is always a good move
Keep the dad content coming! This is such a helpful video.
Thanks man I’m glad this was useful! More to come 👌

I love this. It would be really cool to see more dad edc. My wife and I just had our 4th baby 5 weeks ago
Congratulations!!! That’s awesome man wishing your fam all the best, and yea more dad content in the works 🙌

Girl dads unite! Awesome dude, and I’m happy you got some use out of it. Enjoy yourself, you’re gonna have a good time 🙌
WRX Dad gang! I see you Ron
My Diaper bag is the Alpaka Bravo Sling Mini v2 thanks to you, amazing content, I think this is gonna be me new one! 😂🔥🙌🏽

Awesome! What’s a go bag look like for a 4 and 10 year old? Asking for myself to prep for the “fun” ahead 👀🤪

Great topic!
Thanks Miya! Finding new ways to switch up the carry 🙌

100% believe this! I already know my loadout is gonna change from month to month, let alone when my littles are all grown up 😭
My kids our same age. I actually started out with a sling with my first but transitioned to a backpack mostly to pack a baby carrier
Nice, loadout grows with the kids and needs. Baby carrier is mad useful
Hero Clip is a necessity for any bag. Smooooooth. Cheers. 💜👐
Dave!! Thanks for swinging through as always bro 🙌 HeroClip is clutch, small and medium sizes
Are these for sale yet?
Totally get the situation where you combo all this with your lady. But if in solo mode, prefer your daybreaker 2 setup

Congrats Matt! Love that for you dude. Yea I think the preorder window closed but I’ll let you know when I find out about restocks

First time father here. Great load out! Is that the new WRX? The only thing is you have to hit boost for us next time!
Man I was pushing 5K rpms it might’ve kicked in a little bit 😂 2015 WRX with exhaust. Congrats on being a new father that’s huge!!
Definitely sling...

AHH missed opportunity lmao, thanks Mikey!!
I'm on board with you. I have a 4 year old and 8 month old
And I have a dedicated sling for them too
Man almost same situation! Honestly man slings are the way to go for everyday mellow trips and errands

I did the backpack too and throughout the couple years I was like I need something smaller
