आज भी मरा नहीं है सड़कों पर क़त्ल हुए सफ़दर हाशमी का नाम | Hindi Ki Bindi | Safdar Hashmi

निर्भीक, निडर, साहसी, मुखर, ज़िंदादिल, चाहे जितने नामों से याद किया जाए, सफ़दर हाशमी के लिए लगने वाले विशेषण कम ही पड़ जाएंगे। भरी जवानी में खुलेआम सड़क पर मार डाले गए सफ़दर हाशमी का नाम उनके न रहने के बावजूद आज भी ज़िंदा है। वे अपने समय के एक ऐसे रंगकर्मी थे, जो कलाओं को जनसरोकारों का हथियार मानते थे। उनका संपूर्ण रंगकर्म, लेखन और साहित्य इन्हीं बातों को समर्पित है। सफ़दर हाशमी एक कम्युनिस्ट नाटककार, कलाकार, निर्देशक, गीतकार और कलाविद थे। उन्हें नुक्कड़ नाटक के साथ उनके विशेष रचनात्मक जुड़ाव और प्रयोगधर्मिता के लिए जाना जाता है। भारत के राजनीतिक थियेटर में आज भी वे एक महत्वपूर्ण स्थान रखते हैं। सफ़दर जन नाट्य मंच और दिल्ली में स्टूडेंट्स फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (एसएफआई) के संस्थापक-सदस्य थे। जन नाट्य मंच की नींव तो 1973 में रखी गई थी, लेकिन जनम ने इप्टा से अलग हटकर आकार लिया था। उनके अनेक नाटक और कविताएं बेहद चर्चित रही हैं। उनका नाटक ‘मशीन’ लगभग दो लाख मज़दूरों की विशाल सभा के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया गया था। इसके अलावा गांव से शहर तक, तीन करोड़, औरत, डीटीसी की धांधली प्रमुख हैं। दूरदर्शन के लिए बनाए गए उनके कार्यक्रम खिलती कलियां को भी अपने समय का चर्चित कार्यक्रम माना जाता है। 1 जनवरी, 1989 को ग़ाज़ियाबाद में एक नुक्कड़ नाटक के मंचन के दौरान उन पर हमला हुआ, जो 2 जनवरी को उनकी मृत्यु की वजह बना। यह सामाजिक सरोकारों व अभिव्यक्ति की आज़ादी की वेदी पर इन सरोकारों के लिए दी गई बलि थी। ‘द वायर’ पर ‘हिंदी की बिंदी’ में आज हम याद कर रहे हैं, इन्हीं महान नाटककार और सामाजिक चेतना के संवाहक सफ़दर हाशमी को।
