Your video made me realise how Hans could have had the potential to be a top-tier charismatic manipulator villain that audiences could enjoy and simps could slobber over, but no. They didn't write his character properly and now he's just lame.
So basically he becomes an anti-hero in this scenario. I like this much more than him being manipulated by the trolls as many theorized, which I believe isn't the most ridiculous headcanon. But him going rogue for the sake of protecting someone he truly cares about should have been a no-brainer for the storytelling. I wonder what went on behind the scenes at Disney?

A simple correcting rewrite and we don't have to make the excuse of the trolls and "get the fiance out of the way"
