Withdraw instantly, any time. This is of course low, but I agree, still better than most traditional banks so definitely a good option. In the meantime you could try Wise (wise.com/invite/i/kais23) which seems to work in Canada, it's similar and especially for sending money internationally at the lowest possible fees and exchange money at best rates, it's a great option💯

You can also top-up using Apple Pay, Google Pay or your Debit Card, but you may incur costs, so Wire is definitely better. As soon as you did your KYC (Know Your Customer) Registration Process and received money into your Revolut account, you can use your Virtual Card online or even via Apple/Google Pay right away, before even the physical card arrives, which is awesome.

I have a question Kai, I just started small trading with Revolut. I started out with an initial trading balance of 20 USD and made my first purchase of a share for 7.78 USD. Then my trading balance went UP by 7.78 rather than DOWN by 7.78. As far as I can tell, shouldn't my trading balance have gone to 12.22 USD + 1 Share and not 27.78 with one share. Very confused as to why my trading balance went UP not DOWN?? Thanks
Hi Noel, that's indeed very strange as it should be as you've described it. If it's still like this after one day, maybe the trading balance didn't update yet after the transaction, I would suggest to write to Revolut support to check it out, shouldn't be like that. Cheers

Hi, mostly it's enough as you can use it via Apple Pay or Google Pay so no card needed, unless you want to withdraw cash from an ATM. I haven't been to Japan yet, but given how technologically advanced they are, that should be fine, but I would probably still get a card, I think it's a one off €5 or something, but better safe than sorry so you can get your Sushi for sure😉 Have a great trip

Revolut is great but I never re ieved my debit card. I always get error messages trying to track my card. Chat is ok for help but that is also difficult to connect. I'm thinking of changing only because the communication and contact is almost non existent.

Hi Randy, no silly question at all. When you don't do the conversion in advance (where it will show you the rate) you won't be able to see it before. But technically just google it, how much USD are in SGD and visa versa and you will get the same pretty much, just not on weekends where there is going to be a small surcharge so for weekends I recommend to convert beforehand. Click on transfer at the bottom (the two arrow signs) and then on new at the top right and then just enter the account details like you normally would for a transfer and your money will be send instantaneously😉
Hi Scott, if you have Revolut it's super simple. If he/she also uses Revolut, you just ask for their Revolut ID and it's done within seconds. Otherwise, just get his/her bank details and via Revolut you do a normal transfer to Germany and it's also there very quickly and free in case you have Premium or Metal. Cheers.

Hi Julie, good question. They do have different numbers and card details but use the same money account as a source for payments. Essentially they do the same thing, the only difference is, if you have a virtual card you just add it to your Google or Apple Pay and don't need to worry about where your physical card is. In my case I never use Physical cards so I prefer virtual cards. They also have virtual single use cards which basically destroy themselves after one time usage and automatically creates a new card for you which is great for doggy website that you might not trust with your normal card details. Hi there, thanks for your feedback though it's unfortunate to hear. Just need to intervene and correct that Revolut certainly is not a scam. You might have encountered an issue or technical glitch, hard for me to know what exactly is the issue from the distance and I am sure their support might sort you out, but please lets refrain from calling it a scam. A scam would take your money, which clearly they didn't. They are a registered bank and have been operating for years, myself and many million other users are very happy with it. Hope you will manage to sort it out, if not, there are alternatives as well😉
Hi there and good to hear you are still investing and Revolut is definitely a great platform for that, especially to get started. For the future I will use more Interactive Brokers to buy though as Revolut sadly has no ETF's at the moment. And as for the stocks I have, looking at the performance of some of them, I wish I had others also🤣 But it's fine, I invest long-term and believe in there long-term performance which should be good.

Hi Vuk, have a look at your notification settings on your phone and make sure they are all on. Normally when you buy something online and it goes to Visa Verified you will get an automatic prompt on your phone from the app without you having to do anything. Just make sure it's the same card linked to your Revolut, the rest should happen automatically, if not, then it's maybe a technical glitch in which case you can write to their support. Hi there. Absolutely no problem. Here the limits If you are in the UK or EU, transfers British Pounds (GBP) to UK beneficiaries are limited to £250k per transaction, £500k per day, and £1m per week. You cannot make more than 50 transfers in 24 hours, or more than 200 transfers in 7 days. I never had any issue with any limits so you’ll be good to go👌

This is what it says on their website: Crypto withdrawals are currently available to all Metal customers in the UK, and we now rolled out to a pool of Standard, Plus and Premium users in the UK who we contact and invite to participate in the Beta. This will be rolled out to more users soon. So hopefully they will allow this feature soon. But honestly, as much as I love the app, that's why I prefer buying Crypto through Crypto. com, much better prices and user experience and more flexibility.
Not sure why you would say that? I've been using them for year now and so have my friends and there was never any issue. I can wholeheartedly recommend Revolut.

Hi and thanks for your comment. In case you already have the physical app you can use it like any other. If you want to pay with your phone you can just add it to Google Pay or Apple Pay. I use Apple Pay so you can either go straight into Revolut App, click on Cards at the top tab, select the card you want, click on it and it will show at the bottom 'Add to Apple Pay', just click there and the rest will be done automatically and you can just double tap the side button of your phone and it will bring up your Apple Pay card. Otherwise, open Apple Wallet and click on the plus icon at the top right and then manually add your Revolut Card this way. Hope this helps.

You might have encountered an issue or technical glitch, hard for me to know what exactly is the issue from the distance and I am sure their support might sort you out, but please lets refrain from calling it a scam. A scam would take your money, which clearly they didn't. They are a registered bank and have been operating for years, myself and many million other users are very happy with it. Hope you will manage to sort it out, if not, there are alternatives as well😉

Hi there and good to hear you are still investing and Revolut is definitely a great platform for that, especially to get started. For the future I will use more Interactive Brokers to buy though as Revolut sadly has no ETF's at the moment. And as for the stocks I have, looking at the performance of some of them, I wish I had others also🤣 But it's fine, I invest long-term and believe in there long-term performance which should be good.

Hi there. They do have that promo from time to time but not at this moment as I am aware. However, I don’t actually use a physical card you can just use their virtual card and add it to your Apple or Google pay and you don’t need to pay anything 😉

Hi Ben, not sure what you mean by Visa Fee payment but transactions don't really have any limit at least till 10K you can easily pay in any currency that is offered on the app (pounds of course included) and depending on the amount of money you have in your account😉 Hope this helps.

Hi Vuk, have a look at your notification settings on your phone and make sure they are all on. Normally when you buy something online and it goes to Visa Verified you will get an automatic prompt on your phone from the app without you having to do anything. Just make sure it's the same card linked to your Revolut, the rest should happen automatically, if not, then it's maybe a technical glitch in which case you can write to their support. Hope this helps.

Hi there. Absolutely no problem. Here the limits
If you are in the UK or EU, transfers British Pounds (GBP) to UK beneficiaries are limited to £250k per transaction, £500k per day, and £1m per week. You cannot make more than 50 transfers in 24 hours, or more than 200 transfers in 7 days.
I never had any issue with any limits so you’ll be good to go👌

Hi Ben, absolutely, if you are in the EU (I believe in UK as well) it's even insured like a normal bank up to €100K of your deposits, which is fantastic.

Hi there and thanks for the question. Sadly not for all users at this stage. This is what it says on their website:
Crypto withdrawals are currently available to all Metal customers in the UK, and we now rolled out to a pool of Standard, Plus and Premium users in the UK who we contact and invite to participate in the Beta. This will be rolled out to more users soon.
So hopefully they will allow this feature soon. But honestly, as much as I love the app, that's why I prefer buying Crypto through Crypto. com, much better prices and user experience and more flexibility.

Not sure why you would say that? I've been using them for year now and so have my friends and there was never any issue. I can wholeheartedly recommend Revolut.
@@SmartMoneywithKai Revolut has global problems. they solve them at the expense of new clients. but it's an avalanche of problems. if the bank freezes money for weeks of the month, then it does not have long. you will feel.

Hi and thanks for your comment. In case you already have the physical app you can use it like any other. If you want to pay with your phone you can just add it to Google Pay or Apple Pay. I use Apple Pay so you can either go straight into Revolut App, click on Cards at the top tab, select the card you want, click on it and it will show at the bottom 'Add to Apple Pay', just click there and the rest will be done automatically and you can just double tap the side button of your phone and it will bring up your Apple Pay card. Otherwise, open Apple Wallet and click on the plus icon at the top right and then manually add your Revolut Card this way. Hope this helps.
