Thanks mate. Great information and well presented. Im going to use both my Revolut & Monzo cards for my holiday coming up. Revolut during the week and Monzo on weekends.
Hi Stephen, You might like to check out a video review of Chase Bank that we've just uploaded to our channel - th-cam.com/video/kzWJdPjneKM/w-d-xo.html
Revolut adds up to 1% to its exchange rate at weekends. Starling for example doesn’t. I personally found that Starling rate was therefore often better at weekends.
Im American whose been in UK for 3 years. Im unbanked in UK. A stateside friend has money of mine that she has agreed to get over to me. But how best? Can she open a revolut acct or even buy a visa or ms prepaid debit card and physically send it to me or is there an online equivalent? thx for any info.
It is possible for your friend in the US to set up a Revolut account and send money to your Revolut account fee-free (although limits may apply). More information on how this works can be found here www.revolut.com/en-US/money-transfer/. Alternatively, they may be able to send money via Wise, however this may not be the cheapest way to transfer the money. Additional info on Wise transfers can be found here - wise.com/gb/send-money/send-money-to-the-uk-from-the-usa. It is worth comparing a few options to ensure you are getting the best rates before transferring.
Monzo wants to know everything about you for a poor service which you are infomed at the end when they receive from you your ID photo, address, phone number, information about your household income, your voice message with your photo... No thanks. Maybe do they also what to know what I like in my bed? There were no such burden with Revoult...
Very clear thank u very much

Why is Chase not included? Just as good as Starling (I have both) but with the added bonus of cashback in year 1.

Why Revolut stopped supporting top ups from credit cards in the UK?
