Thank you for your reaction. My daughter has Lyme and she swears by stem cell treatments. Bedridden for years, she is now married and expecting her 2nd child. Still has to control what she eats and activity carefully but living a life. There is hope.
At 17 he screamed into the blank canvas that he would defeat the forces of evil and I think he might is able to do it, for so many people. Cannot begin to ever describe how special of a human he is in all the ways I can think of. Immeasurable. Without an equal. Thanks for this beautiful reaction
How you only have 16k subs is criminal, you are at least as good as anyone out there breaking down songs. This another great example. When it comes to proper breakdowns there's 2 reactors I look for above anyone else, Knox and you, no one does it better. Another incredible track from Ren, never ceases to amaze me how vividly he describes and tells his, or any story. Keep up the great work brother!
I can relate even if it was a young age. I got bitten by tick - got extremely sick at age 13, I almost died of flesh eating bacteria, and blood poisoning. I spent two months in hospital isolated. I wanted to die because of the pain and needing someone to lift my pillow and carry me to the bathroom. After getting well, I got SA'ed at the age of 14 by guys a lot older than me. I suffered with PTSD and social anxiety, but then found a boyfriend at 16 who mentally and physically abused me. At 17 I found a new boyfriend and got pregnant and married. I suffered with pain and fatigue for many years, even today at the age of 46. It took me years to get my life together, I began my degree at the age of 39 as a single mother of three boys. The youngest a baby at the time. Now I work as a teacher with the youngest students, I found my purpose finally. ❤❤❤
@dottiemurray6013 ❤️ There are so many survivors out here, making it through dark times. We must keep supporting artists like Ren, so it is important to build awareness, empathy, and support.
@@noorieiversenyou are a warrior and survivor 💪 I have been through the mill also and what happened to you as a young teen, I get those guy's put away where they belong, I hope you got some justice with that ❤ I know all to well how it impacts men and woman and sadly also DV 🫂 🩷 Fighting through the trauma is hard, but hold on to your power 💜💪🩷
Moby sampled the same song but Ren used the original by Vera Hall. Thanks for another fantastic reaction! This song is incredible. Ren bringing Hope to those of us who live with invisible illnesses 💜💜
I agree with you that Ren is a guardian, he is an messenger. The line “ Lord I forgive you, Lord I forgive you, Lord I forgive you “ always makes me cry. He’s been through so much and I am so grateful he has come back to life and his music. Great in depth reaction as usual V!! And yes Ren is an amazing human. ❤️
I think the limo is an accident of timing, as was the two people with a guitar getting off the subway train behind Ren in an earlier scene. It’s a cool thing that happens when you just go out on the street and start filming.
Yes He paid for the Moby sample, which was done by Vera Hall, originally came from her family, which were slaves in the 20s singing bout hope. The teeth of cold steel bar is tough man. The one bar that we all are hoping is only a metaphor, which would still suck beyond unbelief, but it’s not. I’m a bout of psychosis, he actually cut his chest open in the alley just to make sure he was still alive and real and could feel something, anything even pain, Hospitalized relief of cold steel. It’s so crazy that that’s not even storytelling. Obvious now why he will have taken his own life if it wasnt for watching the impact that suicide had on Joe’s family. His love and compassion, for his mother was the deciding factor to go another seven years of suffering every day. As awful as that is, we are all glad that he is here sharing his story, spreading the word, and can do it in such a beautiful way. If I did very interesting that he wears a jacket in the beginning, I believe it says Hollywood spit me out for Hollywood kicked me out anyway, something pertaining to Sony giving up on him which I’m sure they regret now.. but then the last part of the video got the throwback bulls jacket, which only represents the six time NBA champion. Best basketball player of all time Jordan throwback bulls jacket.! my buddy had the same one in high school. This shit is fire. I wonder if he still has it
Agree that Ren is a guardian. Of hope, light, compassion, quite a lot of things that are hard to find. I can’t relate to his struggles but he’s the very best painter of his story to show us all the value of hope. Loved your breakdown.
Ren has a video on Instagram and youtube of him playing the original sample from Vera Hall on his computer (Ren paid for the rights to use the original in his video). He takes the sample and start to do his magic and mixes and tweaks it to sound so cool. Then he adds it to the melody he made earlier. Great breakdown. Ren is special. We are here to witness and watch him rise. He is just getting started. 💯🔥
great reaction man, what next? just looked at your playlist, the obvious missing Big Push one is 'Wade in the Water / Nina Simone / Trouble so hard' mash up popularity wise it's second only behind 'I shot the sheriff' my favourite is 'Dignity' good video as well as the song
I wish I didn’t relate to this song as strongly as I do. But he is leading the way for us all. A goddamn gift to the world. Excellent reaction as always! ✌️❤️
This man deserves every good thing coming his way. He's a good soul; I don't see him ever stopping trying to help people. And another great reaction Snake. Can always depend on you for an in-depth, empathetic analysis 💜. I don't see that you've done Precious yet. It's one of my favorites and would love to see your reaction to it. 💜
Our boi Ren is collaborating with our boi chris webby it’s going to be amazing and I did wonder if another raw thoughts would arise but I’m sure webby said there were no more new raw thoughts, I could be wrong
Yeah it's the same sample as Moby but it's a readaptive sample by Vera Hall a 1940s gospel singer, "Troubkes so hard no one can understand them but God" she has a great voice, the sample was a slightly slowed down version of her original version as well as filtered to make it a Haunting sample that has been used over and over.
I really really like your reaction. The things you say unlock doors in my head and I notice things you don't say, if that makes any sense at all. It struck me that all the surroundings were gateways to experiences that he couldn't have when he was ill. Now he can. The world is his oyster (don't know if he can eat oysters, but you see what I mean).
Great reaction, as we have come to expect from you. This song deserves all the accolades and exposure it can get. Not just as a stand alone song and visually stunning piece of art but for the message it conveys and the hope and recognition it will bring to so many. ❤
With great power comes great responsibility, and Ren is truly a hero! He is using his growing powers and platform for so much more than simply creating brilliant music. Ren has said that he always had this feeling that he was meant to change the world for the better. So much that he defiantly yelled a challenge to evil into an empty room. And then he got sick… Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. If anyone hasn’t already watched them, I highly recommend you do. With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness. And here he is with another rendition of that story, now told through music with a fire beat and delivering a message of hope. A beautiful hero that the world needs ❤️🐰🕳️ BTW I am guessing the knife with teeth of cold steel is a bit of creative freedom to make it more understandable what’s going on but probably refers to the glass shard from the old TV he broke? Unless he’s cut his chest multiple times. I hope not. I understand why though. When you have no control over what illness is doing to your body and none of it has any explanations, there is bound to be comfort in choosing to cut yourself and to see the clear cause and effect. It hurts and bleeds, but he knows exactly why. What a nightmare he’s been through 😢
Ren is a true warrior in my eyes! He raps about his struggles without shame, sharing his powerful story so we understand his pain and his journey! I love the message of hope, courage and reonciliation and will apply it to my own situation! Your breakdown of this is phenomenal! Thank you❤
Have been looking forward to your reaction above anyone's. As someone who struggles with many of the illnesses Ren mentions as misunderstood and underfunded, I knew you would understand his message and help shine its light far and wide. Thank you so much for all you do, and all the you are. ❤
Thank you for your reaction. You break lyrics down so well. Ren gives us hope and to not give up. That’s hard when your world is pain like I have. Ren gives me Hope.

Thank you for such a great breakdown as always ❤️Watching Ren’s missing series had me in tears each day. The amount of suffering and pain he lived with made my heart break…first for him and what he went through and again for the millions “missing” still suffering .💔 sending hope, love, light, healing vibes to all those suffering.
I was waiting for you to react to this one , for some reason you haven’t been popping up lately, had to find you in the subs, yes it’s Mobby sample whoever that is lol, I’m old classic rock - metal head but Ren is very talented and i appreciate that
What i hate is even if you get a true answer to whats happening with you it doesn't mean an automatic approval for accurate treatment. I have a mental health disorder that took years to be aware of, more years to be diagnosed with and even more years to get the correct treatment. Was told itll take a minimum of 7 years in the medical field to accurately be on the right treatment and on the path to a better life. I know for other disorders it takes longer. You wouldn't go and say we see you have an obviously broken foot but we dont believe in broken feet so we wont treat it. Your gonna have to walk on that broken foot causing unimaginable pain and torture and causing irreversible damage just because we dont believe in the condition thats stairing us in the face. If you wont say that to a person with an obviously physical disability why would you do that to someone with a disability that you can overlook?
When you think about being bedridden sick with the flu or whatever for a week to 10 days. How it’s disorienting and seems forever. Try 10 years like that .
Thank you for your reaction. My daughter has Lyme and she swears by stem cell treatments. Bedridden for years, she is now married and expecting her 2nd child. Still has to control what she eats and activity carefully but living a life. There is hope.

When it comes to the sample, there is one more important thing about it, unless I'm tripping. As people already said, Moby used the same sample, but Red made sure to buy rights to use the original. But it seems to me that by the very end of the song (after he finishes rapping, but before the message on the km of the screen appears) the sample edited by Ren. The words are no longer "trouble so hard", but rather "trouble with god". The amount of suffering and pain he lived with made my heart break…first for him and what he went through and again for the millions “missing” still suffering .💔 sending hope, love, light, healing vibes to all those suffering.
Thanks for another breakdown.

❤❤❤
You r wanna the best reactors ever
Thank you for saying that!
