My favorite song of the OST is Wicked Flight. I had the biggest goosebumps the moment they started to play it. Those guys in the guitars are POSSESED, I tell you! What an amazing concert.
It truly is. It's structured like a Final Boss theme, but it's not. It was made for the purpose of a battle, while Serpent Eating the Ground (Serpent Devouring the Horizon) was made to be an event theme. Serpent Eating the Ground is one of the Best Final Boss themes for purpose of Final Battles, but in general, Wicked Flight takes the cake.
This music made you feel charged, empowered. Anything and everything truly worthy of a final boss theme. That this is it. It's all or nothing and everyone on your team has to pull out all the stops and kick some serious ass. All the personal struggles and sacrifices; moments of despair and moments of pure victory have led to this final moment. Moments where we as players felt truly connected to these characters in some way. Say what you will about Square Enix, but their music has been truly fantastic and touching in all the right ways. It's time to be Brave

One of the most impressive things for me is you can tell this is exactly how the game's soundtrack was created - studio recordings of a live performance. While a lot of, for example, Uematsu's earlier works are compositionally and melodically impressive, he still had to work within the constraints of whatever Square's sound engineers could wrangle out of the console's sound sequencing chip. But I always found that the way a lot of arrange OST's would re-interpret the piece would make it feel different to the original. Whereas in this case, you have amazing music and the production value behind it as well. They really are 'performing the pieces live'. I think it really enhances the soundtrack. tbh Bravely Default was instantly one of my favourite RPG OST's. I was all, "who is this guy I never heard of and why is he so amazing?"
Harkz0r True, this games soundtrack rules... In fact if it weren't for nostalgia I might say this game has some of the best boss themes ever made. But yeah it still really just blows my mind that they were able to pull of something as ambitious as Dancing Mad with 16 bit hardware.

+Carlos Andrés Solís even the cheap, easy way out is a complicated strategy. This boss takes a ton of strategy and planning to beat. Or, you know, just use Toxic Megalixirs. Because THAT'S not broken at all.
+A Dandy Guy in Space It's one of the skills from the salve-maker, you basically turn a healing item into a damaging one, so megalixir damages instead of healing.
This music Absolutely Shakes me to the very core. The mix between electric guitars, rock music and the orchestra is marvelous.... an absolute eargasm 😍
This is just so beautiful. I just cant believe that my eyes were humid when I finished watching the video. When the special move themes of Tiz, Agnez, Edea, and Ringabel were played, it sent shiver through my body. The ending was epic (the trumpets, GOSH! It was insane) Bravely Default, though its gameplay is nothing compared to Fire Emblem: Awakening or other 9.x-IGN Review games, is one of the best if we're talking about its storyline and its MUSIC. And after watching this video, I cant resist to take my 3DS and repeat my game again :-)

Have you listened to the OST of Bravely Second? it's totally TERRIBLE. Ryu can't hold up to Revo even a bit.. the music in this game was one of the best I have heard in a while, I don't get it why they would chose another music artist for bravely second.
I love the lady in the drums. Shes so cute and enthusiastic. You can tell these folks are having as good of a time as the music they're playing. They're super into it. I'm pretty sure this piece took so much rehearsing to master and make it perfect. I love this concert honestly. I catch myself listening to it on repeat very often as of late. I wish I could've been there in person honestly.

+Preston Dixon I hate that boss. The key is actually doing things that do set damage. Try using the monk and use Pressure Point, or buy a whole bunch of items-I forget what he's weak to, but buy those. Otherwise, all of his attacks are in a set pattern, so just default before the explosion.
Preston Dixon Maybe it was just the normal difficulty, but I remember that once I learned his pattern (wich is like a cicle of four actions plus a turn of waiting) it was pretty easy. That was actually pretty fun since it feels like even if I died in the previous battle it wasn't a waste of time.

It truly is. It's structured like a Final Boss theme, but it's not.
