I have been playing bravely default two a lot and I love it. The soundtrack for that one is pretty good, and the OST from the first game is blowing me away. Especially these battle themes. I'm very impressed.
I was partially spoiled at the beginning of game because of the spoiler in BDFF OST video's comment on TH-cam. I knew Airy was not just a cute "crystal fairy" but something suspicious. However, when she actually turns in to the big larva, I still shocked. The story is just too good.

I first suspected it after Olivia died- like why wouldn't you care about someone who would have made the job exponentially easier? Too bad destroying a crystal wasn't the secret ending, because (if it was even allowed until the fourth world) I would have gotten it at the first Earth Crystal. >be an innovative game with a interesting gameplay of a rpg per turns along an amazing soundtrack >everyone's forget about your existence with twewy any chance to make this game a niche classic?
Serpent Eating the Ground is one of my new favorite boss themes of all time. Seriously, this thing is amazing. It even has it's own story to tell. It starts off somber, then kicks into high gear with sinister melody. It repeats this melody a SECOND time. And when it swings back around for round 3, the player is expecting another loop. Nope, now the piece begins to change, becomes lighter and references other battle themes. The normal theme, then the asterisk boss battles and so on. It jumps back into a sinister and frantic melody when out of nowhere BAM each heroes' power up themes are woven into the melody seamlessly, giving a morale boost to the player who has been in the fight for this point in time and then finishing with a more heroic version of the jobmasters boss theme as if to say "Now go kick his ass".
One thing that amazes me about the picture of Airy is that her body is really well drawn and shaded and everything... and her face is barely above an MS Paint doodle. Considering what she turns out to be, it's quite fore-telling.

Uber catchy and complex, chaotic but enjoyable, I love it when an OST has tracks you can just listen to without doing anything else. One of my all time favorite pieces of music. Conflict's Chime: Upbeat, triumphant, and just fun as can be, and great to get yourself started in the day. Though Wicked Battle might be the catchiest.
Sorry, just fixed it. But it's been a while since the game was released, so spoilers are bound to appear... It doesn't really matter anyways, 'cause the plot ain't that great, BTW. Decent, but nothing remarkable, especially considering Chapter 5 to 8 (when you reach that point you'll know what I'm talking about). But still, you should enjoy it!

Serpent Eating the Ground: Epic, energetic, choir-filled awesomeness for the first two minutes (I'd still have been quite content if that was the entire song), moving on through various themes of the game to go with the events in the battle, before the triumphant recourse of the characters' themes and the main menu music. Eat your Jenova-cell-filled heart out, OWA.
Distorted Thoughts: Happy in a very Stepford Smiley sort of way, almost like it's saying "come have fun (oh and hope you don't die)". Simply messed up in the best possible way. Kinda makes me think of a game of hide and seek for some reason.
That Person's Name is: Fun and kinda quirky, like the Job Masters themselves.
当時買おうかどうか迷ってたときにこのBGMが決め手になったなあ
I think it's funny how all the songs have two names depending of translation, gotta say I rly like Serpent Eating the Horizon over "the ground" sfshdj
Oh god, I haven't finished the game and I looked at the comments oh god OH GOD
That Person's Name Is... freakin awesome
2:44 would be known from then on as history's most Xtreme square dance...
I got an ad while listening to That Person's Name Is. TH-cam's fault, not the channel's.
ゲーム音楽って、凄っ!!
パワフルで最強すぎる~❤
Very high on my personal wish list: Another game OST by REVO
Based Sakuraba on the rock organ.
+TShadowKnight They're already working on it.
Serpent Eating the Ground for the win!! Good song to play in an UFC octagon entrance!
UFC is too mid to deserve such an honor.
Play it during a grand Melee in HEMA instead.
The horn section reminds me of teikokukagekidan from Sakura Wars (the opening). Which is an amazing song.
The annotations also had spoilers.
All I wanted was to hear the themes while waiting for the copy I ordered to arrive...

The change is minor but thanks.
As far as the plot is concerned, it has to be better than that of 4 heroes of light where half of the plot could be missed if you did not talked to every NPC on each chapter.
I am looking forward for my imported copy to arrive since the game seems to have gotten extinct in my country.
+DragonishChaosArt "I spoiled the game for you but it's alright, I didn't like the plot anyways!"
+DragonishChaosArt At least a warning to desactivate the annotations on the beginning would be great.
DragonishChaosArt That was the best plot of an RPG tied with Chrono Trigger and I loved it even if I got it spoilt because I caught most of the clues from the start so it didn't matter much but it was great seeing how they managed it anyway. I just don't understand where was the problem with the 5 to 8 chapters the pace was just right
The best 29:00: Wicked Flight (vs. Airy 2)
