with this GPU shortage and NO STOCK available in msrp is also a major problems for other PC components. Because you can't get a gpu people are not building PC until the gpu prices go back to normal. In Taiwan it is a huge problem for PC stores because they can't sell PC components such as motherboard, rams, case, etc. They combat this by having gpu in stock and price at msrp but you can't buy the gpu alone and have to buy the rest of the components for your pc in order for them to sell you the gpu.

I was able to get 4 3090s, I needed them, for a couple of work desktops/computers I have, I also have a PS5 and a Switch, I got ALL of these day one, ALSO I didn't over pay for ANY of these though, I wont support that. I just pre-ordered ALL of these things through a friend, that owns a store/I've been doing this method, for at least 5 years, at this point and its worked well,BUT bigger problems/issues are going on here. Most likely this won't stop, until ONE, these companies NEED to ONLY allow one console/device, per card/debit card/credit card/account/Address, ALSO to buy a console, you have to be logged in to an account; You are limited one per account/card/Address, UNLESS your Walmart/BestBuy/Target/E-bay/Amazon/NOT a seller on Amazon,BUT ACTUALLY Amazon, AND Amazon/ALL of these companies, shouldn't allow consoles to be listed ANY MORE, than retail value/what ever Sony/Nintendo and so on, are listing them for, on their site, SO IF a higher price is entered, there should be, red text, under that box, not allowing you to continue/ list it, UNTIL, you fix the problem/lower the listing price, what could be even better, is if these companies fill in the price for you and say, the ONLY thing you can do, is lower the price, you can't increase the price,above what's automatically listed/generated, from the manufacturers website, ALSO ALL of these companies, NEED to be doing this, Amazon/Walmart/Target/Bestbuy/E-bay and so on, ALSO google should be combating this as well, with search results/Google should only show search results, for properly priced items, ALSO tariffs NEED to be done away with ASAP. This should apply for ALL items that are 10years old or newer and IF the item was made 100thousand times or more, IF the item was made less than 100thousand times OR if its a device thats older than 10years old, it can be priced how ever the seller wants to sell it, the ONLY other exception to this, SHOULD be, IF the item is used widely/SOMETHING like a chip thats used in A LOT of vehicles. Doing these things SHOULD fix the problem/ alleviate a good portion of these problems/situations.

Ayyyy. Good on ya! It's a rather tricky subject tbh. I strongly believe that miners are the major contributor from the "Demand" side of things because they have the biggest potential to sway market prices. You see. Each gamer would only buy 1 or a max of maybe 2-3 GPUs but even your noobest miner would at least get 4-5 cards at the least.

I find it really interesting that an entire industry easily shifts to serve whoever can provide the most profit, even though gamers have historically been their consumer base.
Well if thats the case then im going to continue save my money when the price drops down , when that time comes , i will have enough saving for a Bangsawan PC build too
It is best to save money ATM because .... my gosh , a gtx 1660 super is selling about $749 right now on Amazon . Which is way higher than what rtx 3080’s msrp supposed to be . That is just what makes gamers so mad right now
For my advice , if you really want to get yourself a gaming pc , go for pre builds . It might not be good but they hold the best value for the components
