SYLVESTER - You Make me Feel (Mighty Real)... Aussie DJ Remix

- I used a few versions of Mighty Real to make the track. I used a portion of the Funky Beat Addiction TV mix as the main track. I took out bits and pieces from various versions and put a few samples of other Sylvester tracks in the middle. Added some effects and percussion.

Now THIS is one of those tracks that is such an iconic disco number that many shy away from remixing it. Others try & mostly fail. It’s hard to try & top Patrick Cowley. However here’s one that absolutely honours the track.
It still has the attack that this track demands. The vocals are given the respect required & haven’t been consumed or buried under FX. There’s even a nice little sample of “Dance Disco Heat” & I suspect some other Sylvester numbers.
It absolutely storms along insistent on getting you up dancing to the pounding beats. For the dancers among us it delivers in spades. For the DJ’s it’s an almost 11 minute banger.
Sylvester himself would be proud that his legacy continues to be highly regarded, especially in the last few minutes as it gallops towards its conclusion. Joyous work. I want it!

Having beeen around for the original, this version is , dare I say it, better. Much much better. I wish it could have been in the roller disco's we all used to go to. Thank you for your work.

Now this is a REMIX !! Par excellence... Your combination of the various loops, drops, back beats, synth effects and Sylvester's unmistakable one of a kind vocal over track combine to create a truly outstanding remix. Sylvester probably would give you a huge Two Thumbs up !!! Of course , Patrick Cowleys pioneering keyboard /synth tracks gives the whole track that 70's San Francisco sound...

Good to know about the IEMs, one of the tracks I've posted I noticed that on the SOny Extra bass headphones that near the end where I placed a very short piece of music over the song came out loud but on the computer and the galaxy earbuds it sounds just right. I did this track about a year ago and it had been sitting in the computer all this time because I knew I had to go back to it to drop the volume on some parts and I sat and did that yesterday. I haven't been at the computer much in the last few weeks, I've been busy with other stuff, though I am working on some songs to be posted soon. Thanks for your support, I appreciate it 👍
