Thanks for this, I've been wanting to install fog lights but ignorance of how to do it (mostly the wiring unknowns) made me hesitate.
You showing the DIY has convinced me to go for it.

I want to thank you so much!!!, for teaching us how to do this. Now I don't have to have so much wire running all over and cutting into the firewall rubber. I'll update you when I get around to this project.

After you installed the BRZ stalk, did you need additional modifications to get the dash light indicator (for fog lamps) to light up?

Does this wire work with the oem switch on the dash? Because the wiring for it is there also..on my 2015

Curious about the install of the BRZ turn signal stalk, believe it's part # subaru-signal-switch-83115fj070. Did you have to remove the steering wheel? Looks like the part centers over the control column? Hoping that is not true.

Unfortunately you do have to remove the steering wheel to gain access . I have done it before and it's not too difficult on this car.

@@PhotomikesGarage could you do a video on how to access the stalk?

@@JC-jm5jc After watching this video, I ordered a used Stalk off eBay for less than $20 and watched some other YT videos to prepare for the removal of Airbag, steering wheel and clock spring that are out there. The only thing I could not find was how to remove the old stalk. There's a circular metal clamp over the steering column in the middle of the stalk that you pinch together while simultaneously lifting a small black plastic clip to release the stalk from the steering column. Look at the replacement stalk to see the black clip I'm talking about, it is what secures the stalk onto the column and the metal clamp applies the pressure. Good luck, if I can do it then you can too. (29ft lbs of torque for reapplying the steering wheel nut when you reassemble)

Just pull the front clip, way to hard keeping it on like this. I had to pull it to replace a headlight. Bring extra push clips, whatever those are called, a lot don't survive disassembly in one piece.
