What I love best about your videos is that you talk us through what you are doing, what you are seeing, good or bad. I hate to see someone silently thrifting, and you have no idea why they are accepting or rejecting an item.
Thank yallll for the raid on WN last night!!! Keep being amazing humans and thank you both for all the inspiration and help yall provide through these videos! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
There is a military mission in South Carolina. They send Hawaiian party’s to deployed soldiers. Shirts plus party food and goodies. It’s a great mission and brings a little sunshine to soldiers.
i can only see how it would matter if its one of those goodwills that buy new stuff and sells it like a retail store but still the donated goods should not be as expensive as they are
@@darrelllockhart154 yeah cause they need to make sure the CEO gets his salary. “Based on our data, it appears that the optimal compensation range for a President & Chief Executive Officer at Heart Of Texas Goodwill Industries Inc is between $459,417 and $770,101, with an average salary of $603,889.” Sorry maybe they could cover more overhead if the CEO took less of the sales for themselves. It’s all about the $$$$
The Small glass is a shot glass from Mexico. Super cute. They have that style everywhere lately, BUT super stylish and, of course, handmade. They are masters at blown glass down there. Masters!
Man, your Goodwill prices are much cheaper than here in NW Oregon. Plush is $4 or $5 here, linens are minimum $6, t-shirts $5, other shirts $7 and up. I don't source at Goodwill much anymore. My death pile is so big now, that I'm not sourcing anyway, except for free piles. LOL there are a lot of free piles, but at least I am not spending money. I was getting out of selling clothes too, until last spring, when thrifting used clothes started trending more. Much of what I find in free piles is clothes, anyway. It has been so great to watch Hayley grow into an equal partner in the business! Love your videos, as always!
Yeah Pacific Northwest very high prices. I went to GW the other day $80.00 for a used board game…can get new sealed and shipped to my house for less then that. I don’t need to buy anything anyway…I just sell what we have used and have left from 45 years ago to today. So much stuff, don’t need to buy anything but food.
Josh, use a hair dryer to loosen the tape on the breadbox as you’re removing it. Should peel off without making a mark on the wood. FYI the beige blanket is a crocheted afghan, not a quilt. They can be washed in the washer as long as it’s not wool.
I agree about the GW’s and pricing. The GW’s in upstate SC are under same group as Columbia. At the G’ville bins they weigh the plush. No $1 deal. And the people at your bins are so much nicer too. Bring back the golf content please! It is great.
The crazy bins are overwhelming at times but you guys did great! So much to look through and so many people in your way. The crochet blanket I’d soak in a tub with oxyclean then wash in cold water on delicate. I wash them all the time.
That vintage metal serving tray is cool! I have a similar one but it has old time mixed bar drinks on it. I think they are from the 1950's. I use mine for transporting utensils, oil, and spices out to the deck for grilling. Very handy!
I literally said to myself during your last bins video "Josh needs a Hulken!' and voila, a Hulken appears. I'm about to get me one after seeing how much it fits in your videos!
Josh and Hayley!!!! Thanks for taking us along for all of this one!!! I appreciate you both so much!!! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
Saw your crochet coverlet and thought I would send you a tip. I collect vintage linens and have found a great cleaning solution, cheap also Mix one part water, one part xstrength Dawn, two parts hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle. Funny it starts out blue but later turns pink Spray generously on stains and I usually rub it in. I put a few extra sprays in washing machine. I would wash linens on cold and most do better not in dryer I love this mixture so much I use it for everything (kitchen appliances, mopping, you name it). Works great on any stains on clothing also. Hope this helps
You two are so cute. I love when Josh says "cute" 😂 and you're the best as well. Fantastic finds, fantastic edits...etc. love that Hayley got to do the out-tro. See you on the next one😉😉
Little glass vase I use mine for a flower vase, my grandson picks daisies and violas for me randomly when we are out and about the vase is the perfect size.😊❤
I believe the small black bag is a healthy back bag by Ameribag. They were originally from near me in Kingston, New York and sold in catalogs on airplanes, as well in their local store.
I enjoy the recap at the end because I take pics and/or list while I listen to you guys and by the time you hit the recap I can look at the screen while my pics are uploading from my phone so I can see what you got😁
******* Those Figures that you said are broken Are from an Anime called " MY HERO ACADEMIA " they are not broken. They are connectable and usually have 3-4 pieces. Head - torso - legs - stand. Not cheap. In fact they go for about $20 - $50 depending on maker and size. If the maker is Japanese and they look Japanese even that little bold guy you got is worth about $20. He's from ONE PUNCH MAN. Nice score.
I have noticed in our area that the Goodwills pricing has gone up and things like the drink coolers are higher used than buying a new one. Keep having fun and stay safe.
Hi Sir Hairy, I’m also a thrift lady who is always at the thrift store in Maryland. It’s a Unique thrift store a lot of good stuff you can find. Just went there and can’t resist to buy good quality stuff. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
hey Josh and Hayley! Thursdays are great thanks to you and pixel game squad uploading every time! i so appreciate you all!! i always look forward to new uploads!!
Goodwill buys Target returns and surplus by the pallet. They sort through the merchandise and price it at 50% of the retail store price. I know this because I managed a goodwill store in MD
11:30 With glass and pottery, the pieces that are signed or stamped are worth more. Like paintings, the actual artist is important, and if it is an artist orginal, a student of an artist or just a print copy. For Example: A print of a painting might be worth $300, an oil copy by a student might be worth $3000, but an artist original might be $30000.
Loved this video Josh and Hayley, even though you got kicked out because of bad behaviour! Lol you left like scolded kids, made me laugh! Great finds and great prices especially compared with that regular Goodwill. Kinda spoils you for anything other than the bins. Worth picking with the crowd! ❤
I love when people say that resellers are driving up thrift store prices. I'm not a reseller but know that resellers won't even buy if prices are too high...as in your case with the Squishmallows.
I'm not sure if you picked up the first purse the second time you went to the bins, but it was a vintage all leather Coach bag. It sells for over $100. Xxxx my fingers that you did end up getting it.
I'm used to volunteer at Goodwills it's all about the employee who is running the items that day most Goodwill stores let the employees running the items price them so some days you might find lower prices someday you might find extremely stupid prices like you found on the plushies and the cup yep it's just all about the day of the pricing who's pricing
If it is wool it will shrink. I wash polyester on warm and hot depending on who was how sick using it. Then dry on warm setting. If it is wool wash on cold and hang dry.
Low key Hailey instincts are getting better than Josh😅. She kills it with clothing, and picking up the MHA figurines for less than 50 cent and that one Saitama . Will be an easy 40+ flip
I'm not sure why my comments keep getting deleted. That makes me sad! I just wanted to express how excited it made me to see my ebay comp on ya'lls channel because I watch ya''ll all the time and love ya'lls videos!! It was the Finn & Jake Backpack. It sold real fast. Anyways I love the vidoes ya'll put out and it teaches me a lot!
The blown glass piece you got is I think is a pretty candle holder. I’ll bet it is beautiful lit. I rarely use real candles in things like that because I am afraid of fire.
Carrie at home reported that her bins had several managers gathered by higher up to see where all their unsold inventory goes and how cheap people get it for to see how ridiculous their prices are. At least someone gives a crap.
I can't get a Hulkin bag. The deals aren't where I would need one. They had tons of Golden Girls and Yellowstone spiral notebooks that Target had for $5, but rang up at over $1.60 in weight for one which isn't bad, but for personal use. Almost got some disc golf discs , but the guy in front of me took them all. I spent under $4😥
josh was clearly bothered. don't pay those goodwill employees any mind. some of them think they're more important than they really are.. great video and thank you for the transparency..
A way to tell a real Murano is if you hold it up in the light it should have a small M in one of the circles. The first time you are trying to find one it is easy to miss-once you know what you are looking for it will be easier.

I love Hayley!!! She is so expressive and always on the.up side. Will always make me smile. Great job! 🎉
Those figures are all from a series called My Hero Academia. Probs a good pickup

How could we not love a nice long thrifting video with you two YT stars?! Hayley has a smile to cheer everybody up 😁🦘🦘🦘
The Ralph Lauren mens shirt is fabulous. Also the fabric matches up perfectly on the front button line!! Good score.

I have never understood why Goodwill would markups cause they are going to make a profit no matter what since they get everything FREE!!!
i can only see how it would matter if its one of those goodwills that buy new stuff and sells it like a retail store but still the donated goods should not be as expensive as they are
They still must pay overhead just like any other business. Rent, utilities, labor, garbage disposal, maintenance, cleaning, etc.
Because they need to pay their CEO so much a year.
Thats understandable except they are taking things from the dollar tree that they got for free and charging $3-$4 for it.

I think Squishmallows are going the way of the Beanie Babies. My kids were all about them and have a ton but now they’re into the Squishables.
"But it goes away when you eat it" RE the fake banana, lol that made me laugh

That pUMA bag would be a great beach bag for sand toys.
Can you do a video on how you clean things when they need to be cleaned?
These days if it can’t go in the washing machine we don’t bother with it.
I've sold quite a few of the Ameribag slings. They usually sell pretty fast too.
