    If you turn on your developer options you can reduce the animation down to .5 and that will increase your battery also.

    This is helpful if you forgot a charger and don't expect to be home within the day. Thanks for taking the time to see how much the phone can be maxed out.
    I think you need to hop over to the pixel watch reddit bc folks over there are having great battery times without all these sacrifices that you are listing.
    I have the WiFi version, went into developer settings and switched off mobile data (not sure why this was on when I do not have the LTE version), have AOD off, notifications off if looking at my phone, tilt off, but touch to wake on. Right now at 36% after 19h (including sleep tracking, workout, 10min phone call, and texts that I answered on my watch). Will try tilt to wake later today for the next discharge cycle.

    Bedtime mode saves a tonnnn of battery. I started @7am and 12 later I was at 80 percent. It does shut off the screen so you have to touch to wake but it still tracks sleep, steps and HR.

    Great video production, straight to the point(s), discussing the pros/cons of every single tip within a short time span is A+

    So basically don't use any of the watches features? What's the point of buying a premium watch then?
    Ticwatch pro 3 is $150 right now and gets you four days with the dual screen always on display and two days with the regular OLED aod.

    Use aeroplane mode with bedtime mode it still tracks your sleep but saves more battery with both on just remember to turn off when you wake up cheers

    What about the constant heat rate tracking ? I've noticed that the little green light on the backside is constantly flickering. That must be using tons of battery

    Hope Ticwatch pro 3 ultra gets WearOS 3 soon, it looks better, is bigger, is cheaper and the battery goes double to tripple the time of this at my wrist so far... The dualdisplay makes a lot of difference...

    For me, it's not about functionality, it's about price and in Canada the watch retails at $529. Sounds a bit pricey lads. Great usage tips lads!!

      🤑 unbelievable! Why would there be such a big price difference?

    • @STR82DVD
      @STR82DVD ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DHRME I honestly don't know why Canada consistently gets screwed on pricing. Maybe the manufacturers think we're too polite to actually say anything about their high prices. They've been obviously talking to the wrong Canadians. I've no problem sharing my opinions either with friends or with strangers about the cost of goods and services in Canada.

    I can't believe how big the bezel is. I really thought it would be an edge to edge screen or close to it.

      it's not. have you seen watches before? they have bezels.

  • @TayoOlasope
    @TayoOlasope ปีที่แล้ว

    Turning all these features off reduces it to a Fitbit watch. Why not just buy one of those with a week's battery life instead saving a lot of money? Alternatively buy a larger Galaxy watch

      @chavawinnie1 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You have the choice to turn off a few or most of them, but not all. I kept the tilt to wake, and a few others on. Saving battery is the main goal here.

    • @TayoOlasope
      @TayoOlasope 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is where it fails as a reliable fitness tracker if battery saving is the main goal @@chavawinnie1
