Your content has been a huge help to me and my growth on my SP-404A. I've had it for a year and I'm STILL learning things from your content. Thank you very much for what you do bro!!🙏🏾✊🏾
Hey man ! Love your videos ! You’ve helped me Soo much on getting familiar with my new sp404 over the past couple months 🤙🏽 How do you get sounds/aka “808’s, snares, etc on the sd card without a daw ? I usually use splice to get my sounds but don’t exactly know how to transfer them to the card and then assign them to the pads I see fit without a screen !
There are a few options. You need an SD card reader on your laptop/computer. Then you can either use import th-cam.com/video/C_RkYHhbAww/w-d-xo.html, or I recommend 'Super pads' for assigning samples to what pads you want to. Google 'Super pads 404' and there is a page on github where you can download it
@@spvidz I feel ya! definitely expensive. I just got one last week and am loving playing melodies and bass lines over my tracks but it’s hard to say it’s worth the money when you could just do that post in ableton after creating on the SP. Either way it’s fun as hell and pairs nice with the SP. Cheers!
I usually just run my line-out straight into Ableton through my audio interface. I check the levels first then just jam it out. Any mistakes and I start again, thats the only downside of that method
There are rumours of a new SP model coming out so I would wait until there is an official announcement. Koala on iPhone and android is also a very cheap option which people are getting amazing results with

I need to know that too
recording them in is normally a better way to get sounds and samples into it

You can also just record straight in too like kwwundo mentioned :)
Nice vid.
Thanks for tuning in!
Hey just out of curiosity, have you ever had an OP-1 or considered purchasing one?
I did for a while then I got an mpc2000xl and sp555 and still had money left over. Love the look of them but the price is too much for me I dunno

How do you record your performances? I'd love to. be able to jam dawdles then just record it into one at the end for brushing up anything needed.

🖤
Thanks for tuning in again man!
Hi, is this a practical unit to use if you want to sample in a live set?
Absolutely
Should i buy a sp 404sx as a beginner? My Goal is Beat making.

Sounds a bit crackley at the beginning man
Edit did you have mfx16 on?😂
😂 hope not. Not sure what’s happened there
Mfx 17 beefs up shit.
Nice I need to mess with it more. A couple of people have mentioned they use it a lot! Thanks for watching
Sweet man! I’ll have to try that for sure 🙏
I wish that thing wasn't so overpriced
I know what you mean man yeah its a little pricey for what it is but theres a lot of fun to be had with it. The main thing is the fx are killer
