I think you may be looking for a privacy style VPN where you can tunnel back to your home from anywhere and have a privacy tunnel and show your home IP to the world. If that is what you want I think Tailscale is a easier and better fit for you. You want what they call an "Exit Node" which will tunnel back to your house and route all traffic from there. You would have to leave a computer acting as the exit node on at your home however.
