If I rephrase, once you find a good business, stay long and defend your investement from your emotional self (circle the wagon!). Informative and valuable lesson. Thanks for sharing wisdom!!
Mohnish I write a gratitude note everyday … in that note I have written gratitude note to you many times for teaching me / us fundamentals of value investing..written your name many times for many years … 🤝 thank you sir for unfiltered truth …
@@pirexengaer like that's what but is there a stock that mohnish has held till the long term ?he owns companies like rain industries and Edelweiss in India which are average businesses but he sells out of Brookfield ? Like I am from India we have some great stocks that come under circling the wagons but to leave stocks like that and Brookfield and sticking to some obscure companies which are mostly low cost producers at best is something I really can't fathom to understand at all. He also sold out of micron as well. So seems like mohnish is more of a value style investor than he what he promotes in actuality : classic growth style investing in great businesses run by great people. Baba is again another one such stock but maybe he thought he paid a lot more but who could have expected COVID wud come and I thought he invests expecting things like that.
I learn most of my investing teaching from you. And my annualized return is 300% in last 2 year. So thank you very much and keep teaching us.

Monish is trying to hummer this point into his own head. Commitment and consistency bias.
Edited content from Mr Pabrai? Amazing!
