There were reports a few months ago of upto 60 being hit in one location. Maybe they were just 60 guys who happened to be french, but it seems they were a bit more specialised than that. It seems a few nato countries are treading a fine line in allowing serving troops to resign and immediately start serving in Ukraine as foreign fighters. It seems russia is getting sick of it.

It is clearly a matter of perspective how one categorizes these soldiers. NATO took steps to make them look like mercenaries, while they are de facto under NATO command. It isn't reasonable to pile on DPA!

There are also many soldiers with US flags dead. That doesnt mean US military is there.
