I’ve ridden that coast road and Galilea climb but I rode out from Alaro and went down to Andrax was beautiful… great video and lovely views always better in real life I think though .👍
Really enjoyed watching you do this one! That coast road is the best roads and views on the island in my opinion. I loved that route! ❤️👍🚴Brilliant fun. 😘
Hi Duncan, thanks for commenting. I enjoyed being out on the bike and enjoyed that route...I'm glad that comes across in the video. You feeling better by the way?
@@LivandTrekGoCycling i only found out yesterday that one of my work colleagues had tested positive last week I think. And I missed my last booster because I was poorly at the time. Had plenty of patients in that have had it very recently too. This job of mine doesn’t do me any good in terms of my health sometimes I’m sure. 🤪
I'm always surprised I haven't contracted it whenever I get off a plane...such an enclosed place and people coughing and spluttering on board. Imagine...getting to Majorca ...and coming down with it...sure fire way to ruin your holiday😷🤧
Hi Pete. Hope you are well. We have just got back from Mallorca staying in the south. We did a very similar loop, but clockwise. Ours was essentially less the dog leg. I am just about to re watch your video.
@DuncMcNutt Hi Dunc...I am well thank you, hope you are too. I knew you were over there, I watched your last island teaser video. I've just seen your latest release and intend to watch it as well as all the island rides you did. I trust you had a great time?
@@LivandTrekGoCycling 😀 Yes, we had a great time thanks, even if we were disappointed with our hotel room initially. Luckily the company and cycling made up for it. It was great to view your video again and look at the views along that coast road which as you know are absolutely stunning.
Nice one. I did almost exact same route from same hotel in April although i didn't go as far as Valladmosa I turned near Espories towards Banyulfubar and then down to Port D'Andraxx etc. Cracking route and superb scenery on west coast although I had a front puncture on a descent which was hairy! I think as good if not better than up north as much quieter.
Hi Steve, thanks for commenting. Its a good route isn't it...that coast road regardless of whether you ride it up or down..is a pleasure to ride. Sorry to hear about your puncture especially on a descent. You came out unscathed?
Yes I was lucky as at speed downhill. I subsequently found it was a dodgy wheel on rental bike as I had 3 punctures in 3 days(!). After 3rd one I was fed up and shop changed wheel and all good although it was odd as nothing obvious that I could see neither could shop. Anyway, fortunately I didn't come off. One thing that came out of it though is having only 1 spare tube with a rental bike not sufficient so from now on when I go abroad I will take some ready patches with me as back up as if I'd had another puncture same day I'd have been stuck.
Blimey...you must have had someone smiling down on you from on high that day 😇. As for patches...they're a good idea, I try to carry a packet in my tool bottle. I'm fortunate in that I haven't a puncture on a rental bike. I think they tend to put hard wearing 'puncture resistant' tyres on rental bikes which I bet are a bugger to get off 🙄

Hi Graham, thanks for commenting. Glad you enjoyed the video...you're quite right of course...a video is always a poor substitute for real life 🚴👍
Glad you made it to the South some amazing riding here. The first part of your ride is my bike commute to work.
Oliver, thanks for commenting. I enjoyed this route 🚴👍
@@LivandTrekGoCycling next time you are in the south, take a trip to St Elm, it's a gorgeous spot and a lovely ride.

Hi Julie, thanks for commenting. I look forward to watching your videos when you're back there x 🚴💪
Bloody fantastic road Peter... And fantastic footage. All things being equal we will ride it again in October. 😁 Well done
Thanks Mike, am I right in thinking you both cycled that road but in the opposite direction to me when you rode with the FCC Legends?
We also noticed how happy you seemed on that ride Peter.
Hopefully I’ll get to do something similar when we are in Peguera in October. Nice video.

Just watched your latest video...yes...COVID appears to be on the rise. In fact Vicky is off for a COVID booster this morning 👍
