Definitely not the Russian army, and probably not the Soviet army. They allied Germany and helped invade Poland. they invaded Finland, stole land from Romania, stole the Baltics, and only survived thanks to American lend lease. Don't get me wrong I'm thankful the Germans invaded the soviets to give them a reason to actually fight evil, but they were never in the right. They would have let the free world be taken over if they weren't attacked.

Definitely not the Russian army, and probably not the Soviet army. They allied Germany and helped invade Poland. they invaded Finland, stole land from Romania, stole the Baltics, and only survived thanks to American lend lease.
Don't get me wrong I'm thankful the Germans invaded the soviets to give them a reason to actually fight evil, but they were never in the right. They would have let the free world be taken over if they weren't attacked.
