i've been reading Evan Thomas's bio of RFK and am amazed at how often i'm saying while watching this "yup, that's true, that's true..." but he did stay on as Attorney General...until Sep. 1964 i believe. "who says i'll be alive in 1972?" spooky
Seems as if he had a premonition of an early death just as JFK did. RIP both Jack and Bobby what a filthy deal they got. Whoever was responsible l hope the flames are licking at their heals.
Hello Buddy, I hear ya but I think Bobby would not have made a good V.P for Johnson. One reason Bobby wouldn't be V.P is he wouldn't be what Johnson would except from him to be which is loyalty. The other would be perhaps RFK would do thing's to undermine LBJ. I think LBJ considered asking RFK for the ticket yet they hated each other & the match may not have worked. I don't know? Maybe the world would have be different if RFK became V.P or even President in "68" it would never be Camelot but I feel it would have given the country another chance to see a vision & hope of what our nation could have been. 🇺🇸
@@mariojordan6859 Bobby did not have john's charisma but he was the reason why everyone believed in John's Camelot. Its Bobby's actions & conscience that lead us to believe in a just world.
Scott, LBJ did offer the VP slot to Bobby for his reelection because he know the public was starting to flock to Bobby and LBJ wanted to win his election. But Bobby turned it down, he wanted to get out of the WH as fast as he could.
Linus Roache and Barry Pepper both were great in their portrayals of RFK..
Thank you for this Pricsilla

He probably knew that he had a target on his back always. He knew a lot of secrets too.
