- Allah gives us gifts, but then we come to love them as we should only love Him. We take those gifts and inject them into our hearts, until they take over. Soon we cannot live without them. Every waking moment is spent in contemplation of them, in submission and worship to them. The mind and the heart that was created by Allah, for Allah, becomes the property of someone or something else.
And then the fear comes. The fear of loss begins to cripple us. The gift-that should have remained in our hands-takes over our heart, so the fear of losing it consumes us. Soon, what was once a gift becomes a weapon of torture and a prison of our own making. How can we be freed of this? At times, in His infinite mercy, Allah frees us…by taking it away.
As a result of it being taken, we turn to Allah wholeheartedly. In that desperation and need, we ask, we beg, we pray. Through the loss, we reach a level of sincerity and humility and dependence on Him which we would otherwise not reach-had it not been taken from us. Subhan Allah.. She is right... I have a personal experience with this situation.... If we love someone more than we aren't allowed to... Allah tests us by taking that thing away from us... May Allah subhanawatacallah guides us all to the right path...

This sister is speaking thee absolute truth! Those kids will become a test for you. Detaching the unhealthy part is HARD! But it can take you down. We have to raise them, teach them their religion and let them fly! We dont own them. They aren't ours. They will live their own lives & we have to find comfort in the fact that Allah allowed us to be their caretaker for that temporary time. Same with spouses. Basically, we have to love with limits. Nothing in society teaches us to be this way but Allah does if we have true understanding.

It’s true I agree I faced this problem and after a long hard time when I return to Allah and I purely love Allah he give me everything. Shukar Allah ka now my life only for Allah who is only one who ruling this world . SubhanAllah
This is so true…we literally are raised to spend our lives in servitude to everyone…our elder siblings, parents, spouses, in-laws, children …we are blackmailed and hard wired into thinking that it’s normal for a person to act as a super human…to juggle all roles at the same time and be perfect….it’s only when trials , hardships and depression befalls on us do we realise that Allah alone is our saviour, our guide, the Almighty, the All knowing, the Compassionate, and that we truly owe our servitude to Him and Him alone…..

The essence is not to stop serving, but to serve for the sake of Allah. And when you are sincerely doing things for the creation to please the creator, the heart does not break when you are not appreciated or let down, because you know that everything you did was for Allah. And with worship you gain Jannah, but in serving humanity, you gain the love and nearness to Allah
It is undoubtedly one of the most precious lessons to be learnt: the human's heart is all and only for the love of Allah the Almighty

Yeah Subhanallah. I learned this lesson the hard way. First, it was my best friend and I lost her. Then, it was a man I fell hard for, and nothing came of it.
God takes away everything I love instantly. I had a gift for years, didn't use it. Used it once, and it literally flew away and I actually cried over that while telling myself that it was just an object even if it had sentimental value. All the things I love would just break in a short amount time once I start to even like it a little but things I don't mind or hate are always usable for years. So many examples of this throughout my life. I hope I'm learning to let go of worldly things faster God willing because this test is too tiring for me.
Listen to this folks, this is correct. Heart is not designed for that immense love you have for that one person. Anything we take too dearly as though it surpasses our Love of God then it’s destructive it’s harmful .
Simply because our hearts are not meant for it

I learned the hard way. Allah with his mercy tested me so I can realize no one other than Him belongs in that part of my heart... Now I am doing the damage control and constantly reminding myself expect only from Allah and rely on Allah only. After ten years of blindness, it's so to constantly remember to Put Allah first... May Allah grant as sincerity in our actions.. my Allah guide our hearts to the right path and the right way to love.
I wish I knew this before I broke my heart. First it was my mother then it was somebody who would replace my mother. I was taught wrong and I believed it in all my life. Thank you and respect

You are absolutely right and I know that, I also learned this through pain and after pain reflecting on everything. And you know I felt so relieved and happy. And the mother in law and sister in law act awful out of fear. Fear of losing this son/brother who doesn’t belong to them. These women go take path of witchcraft to control this guy and lose their dunya and hereafter.

so if you love somebody so deeply and this person loves you to you together come nearer to ALLAH enjoying and living your love together but also have a view to ALLAH that he is with you two because he is our creator and he wants the best for us his never ending LOVE .
If something bad happens in life and you lose the beloved person if you are a real believer you still have the remembering and you still keep in the love of ALLAH .
Many people even dont have that in nower days .
