- Allah gives us gifts, but then we come to love them as we should only love Him. We take those gifts and inject them into our hearts, until they take over. When Allah takes away a gift He gave you, through that painful process He is curing you and helping you refocus and to make you value the Giver more than the gift itself. Sometimes Allah takes things away from us to remind us that this dunya is temporary and everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him.☝️❤️

#1✓Prophet Adam (AS)
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
"Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lana koonanna min al-khasireen"
"Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers."
#2✓Prophet Noah (AS)
رَبِّ إِنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانتَصِرْ
"Rabbi inni maghloobun fantasir"
"O my Lord! Surely, I am overcome, so help (me)."
#3✓Prophet Abraham (AS)
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
"Rabbana hablana min azwajina wa dhuriyyatina qurrata a'yunin wa-j'alna lil-muttaqina imama"
"Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."
#4✓Prophet Moses (AS)
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
"Rabbi ishrah li sadri wa yassir li amri wah-lul uqdatan min lisan-yafqahu qawli"
"O my Lord, expand for me my chest [with assurance] and ease for me my task and untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech."
#5✓Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا جَرَّ بِهِ الرِّيحُ وَظَلَمَاتِ الْوَجْهِ وَالْأَفْعَالِ وَالْأَقْوَالِ
"Allahumma inna na'udhu bika min sharri ma jarrabih ar-rih, wa thalamatil wajhi wal-af'ali wal-aqwaali."
English Translation: "O Allah, we seek refuge in You from the evil of what the wind carries with it, and the darkness of the face, and the evil of deeds and words."
#6✓ Prophet Zakariya (AS)
رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ "
Rabbi la tatharni fardan wa anta khairu-l-warithin"
"My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while You are the best of inheritors."
#7✓Prophet Yunus (AS)
لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ "
La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu min al-thalimin"
"There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."
#8✓Prophet Sulaiman (AS)
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ "
Rabbi awzini an ashkura niamataka allati anamta alayya wa ala walidayya wa an amala salihan tardahu wa adkhilni birahmatika fi ibadikas-salihin"
"My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants."
