I stay in the North Tower which is newer than the rooms you stayed in. I love breakfast at the Cafe, especially the Obrien tater tots. The pools are wonderful . Great stay cation spot. I'm not a fan of the food from the Taco truck.

Love all the videos, and yes there’s not much to do there besides gamble but on that same main road it will lead you to all the other casinos Valley View, Pauma, Pala, and Pechanga.
Hi Bill! Hallooooo Lisa! You are THE cutest couple evah! The love that you have for each other is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for profiling Harrah’s. I’ve been wanting to go there. I’m that girl that hates-absolutely HATES elevators. I was stuck in the Japanese Village parking lot elevator in J-town, for 45 minutes many many years ago. I always always ask for the lower floors wherever I go. Knowing that you can request 1st floor room accommodations at Harrah’s makes me very happy! I do have a question though….. Since it’s a smoking casino, did your room smell of cigarette smoke at any time? Thank you for sharing all of your yummy meals. Bill’s prime rib looked delicious, until I saw the grill marks. 😭 It made me wonder how fresh their prime rib really is……. Take care! Thanks so much! 😃. Staying on the first floor casino level was so convenient, we were literally 15 steps to the casino area. Pretty sure all rooms are non-smoking, but most hotel rooms always have that ‘smell’, so Lisa always brings along a couple Glade plug-in air fresheners (or the tree ones when we fly). As for the prime rib, just guessing here, they probably don’t roast too many daily at different doneness temperatures, so most likely roast them to a medium rare, then fire the cuts to temp above that. Pretty much what buffets do. lol

I remember Harrah's in Vegas was $60 per night back in 2012 hotel rooms are very expensive these days just for 3 days is $513 which is way too much

Hi! Thanks for sharing this visit! This is my spot! You’re totally right about it not being a foodie spot! They need to step it up! They just opened a gelato spot next to the cashier but it was probably closed when you were there. You should def try the spa next time and also the pepper beef at the Chinese place is my fave! I always use my Caesar’s rewards points there so that’s a plus!

You captured the essence of Harrah's Rincon. I usually stay in the North Tower rooms, more updated and modern. They have 3 different bars and 1 is in the NON SMOKING 🚭 section. I don't think that was mentioned, unless I missed it. The Earl of Sandwich and Smash Burgers and the slots in that section, along with Corked, the bar, is all non-smoking. It also has an outdoor patio section with a big fire pit that has lots of chairs and tables to hang out at.
I like the casino, it's one of my locals. But as you said, if you're not a gambler there's nothing else to do around there. Also, there is a really good Mexican place up the street by the round about as you turn right to Harrah's. And up the hill is another cool casino/hotel...Valley View.
BTW...you can get these rooms compd if you play enough on your Cesar's rewards card.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I’ve wanted to go to Vegas for a long time but it’s so far. This is close to my daughter in Huntington Beach. I could visit her and go from there. So it would be a lot closer for me. It’s wonderful there’s no resort fees. Thank you for showing us what you get though. I wouldn’t imagine people would be happy with a resort fee when there’s only a pool and nothing else to do. Thank you Lisa for ordering the beef stroganoff. I saw it on the menu when Bill showed it. I love it. The prime rib looked really good as well. All in all it looks OK. I’m not much of a gambler but I would definitely hang out at the pool. I would gamble about as much as you do Lisa very little. I don’t like giving my money away. I never manage to win. I would much rather go to a buffet then gamble. Lol
Good to know that there are hotels that have gambling casinos in California. The Harrah's seem like a nice hotel with a reasonable daily rate. That prime rid looked good.

We used to go to Wood valley campground for weekends and Valley View hotel casino and Harrahs were right by there so we would slip over there between fishing trips to Lake Wolford..

Wow! I haven't been to Harrahs in over 10 years! I used to stay there a lot but it fell out of favor with me. Reminiscing, in the early 2010's, they used to have outdoor summer concerts series. I saw Joe Crocker, Natalie Cole, Huey Lewis & the News and others. I'm going to have to give them a visit. Thanks for the tour🙂

Hello Bill and Lisa! Nice to see my favorite TH-cam couple having a great time near my city. Wow! Thought most casinos had at least a few 24 hr dining options…wonder if they are still trying to obtain adequate staffing. What’s is it with the overpriced Chinese food? Eggrolls speckled with gold flakes? I was looking forward to see if you found any new dishes. Even though not all options were open it was nice to see you two had fun and made the best of it despite the cold pool water but hey it was not crowded. Smiles! Bill like his prime rib and mash and the gravy didn’t look runny. And thank the ice cream God there was Ben and Jerry’s!!! Omg Harrah’s where are the desserts for Bill and Lisa? Lol! That’s my favorite part when they chose their desserts!!!! Thanks for sharing! Take care!

Have only visited for the day with my family when we stayed in San Diego. They had a really good buffet but that is now Hells Kitchen. May have to stay there for a couple of days to check it out. Get that comped room with my Caesars Rewards!

Thank you for sharing another entertaining video, do you mostly prefer a ground-level room or a room higher up with a view?
Honestly doesn’t matter to us, unless the room is specially sold as a ‘view’, then probably ask for a high floor.
Every time you eat biscuits and gravy it drives me crazy. It's my most favorite food in the world my mom made the best.
Awww sad you missed that Blackberry Margarita at Ritas's Cantina....but that's ok, next time. Thanks for this review. One thing you didn't mention is room service is not available. I always enjoy my stays there, because I can be totally lazy since there are not too many things to do. The one thing is the pool hours are longer which helps because during summer, there's a lot of kids on the property....a lot of kids...anywhoo, You guys may have left out the spa...or mentioned in the other video, but they have a nice spa area...very relaxing. The cafe has a great burger in case you need one next time, it is totally sharable, and good. The Shrimp/Pasta is very good. I got a little scared when Bill mentioned the meatloaf...it's horrible, so glad you skipped that, haha! I go there to gamble, to keep my points up so I can enjoy the Caesars perks at places all over the country, so I go for the reward program.....You did an awesome review...... maybe next time you could do a run thru of the active casinos on the Highway 76....there are several...Pala, Casino Pauma, Harrah's, Valley View, and a few up the mountain that are very small and limited machines, they're all tribal..... I enjoy your videos and hope to run into you one of these days.....very informative and love that you two are loving and respectful to one another and don't mind showing it...love that about you folks. anywhoo...this is long enough, thank you and see you on the next one!!
