- An interpretation of Vanessa/Vanny from Five Nights at Freddy's being in Dayshift At Freddy's [Fangame] seems to have caught the attention of DirectDoggo/DirectDogman, the creator of DSAF, and more recently DialTown.
In this video I go over the posts about it as well as my personal thoughts! :3

I’m the original DSAF Vanny artist! She’s been going strong for the last 4 years now. It’s very surprising seeing doggo talk about a canonical version.

I like this lore though, Vanny being a hyper-active adorable dummy who can make explosives is absolutely unreliable alone but can be useful under the right circumstances, since there won't be any more dayshift games, i hope Doggo considers making some sort of Security-Breach/Ruin themed Side-Story where we get to see this absolute triple threat in action in some way or another, or maybe he can reuse Vanny's character for his new game Dial-Town.

I really wish we would get more dayshift at Freddie's content! I first got into it this year so it's kinda sad I don't get more content, but I also adore dialtown. I would love a sequel to dialtown, or honestly anything related to dialtown

Personally, I feel like doggo's Vanny strays so far from both of her canon appearances that it's not really Vanessa anymore
A lot of the other characters do too, but they were already made b4 the canon versions got characterisation. Even then, Dave and Dee, even Jack all have major consistencies with their canon counterparts, so I think this is just a really odd direction for Vanny. She's always been a victim manipulated by someone else into doing crime, so I think completely removing that core aspect of her character just makes her more of an oc than an adaptation.
I get some of these changes are to better fit the existing dynamics and not retread ground already covered, but i think it makes her basically unrecognizable to take away every iconic trait she has.
Henry's the same, and he's also just a case of "we needed to change him to fit the pre-existing dsaf narrative."
There are more traits I feel were lost other than just the manipulation, but that's the most notable one for its consistency

@@cottonkirbee Ah i see, still, she would be a good character and a good extension to the DSAF's lore.
If I would put her in the game, in first I would just make her a background character before getting brain demage, I would also made her kid, bc why not. In second I would make her after getting brain demage and she would be appear at the end of some endings, kinda like real freadbear, but Jack wouldn't fight her. In thrith she would be an adult and she would live with Jack and she would help him in whatever he was doing either killing more kids, or saving everyone litteraly mix of Jack and Dave she would do whatever Jack tell her and her attitude would change depending on ending. Anyway, someone have other ideas?
