SLUK | Pressure testing a scooter engine before stripping

We may think to pressure test a freshly built engine but how about performing this quick task before you start stripping the old engine down? It can help diagnose issues and give an early warning of things that may be about to go wrong.

I used to have a Suzuki GT500 2T twin that in hindsight probably had an air leak from failed crank seals. It had good acceleration but stuttered at speed and meant I never got a good top end speed, which probably was a good thing. It's an ill wind that blows no good.

It turns out that it was on the crankshaft, do not disparuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu at all :)
