    Both Bibles are gorgeous, but I would prefer the Cambridge green.

    Curious to know which one your wife ended up choosing? And does she still love it? Thanks for the comparison :) I'm going to get the Thomas Nelson NKJV while I still can! God bless you both!

    Diadem should be 28GSM with titanium pigment in the paper.

      @@bibleversereview actually I just read today that the Diadems are possibly 32 GSM. You might want to check on Cambridge or EVB to confirm because now I am unsure.

    Thank you for sharing the “Irish Bibles” Nicholas. I’d go with the Thomas Nelson.

      Hey brother good to see you, thanks for commenting and I hope you are well. The premier collection sure is proving popular, which is a testament to how well it stacks up against other more established premiums

    I think the topaz is 28 gsm. Not 100% sure. I prefer the Cambridge text block; however, I like the Nkjv better and the green on the Premier is deep and bright, which I prefer. God bless!

    • @bibleversereview
      @bibleversereview  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Tom, hope you are well brother. You are correct, 28gsm.
      Cambridge text blocks may be my actual favourite, possibly due to nostalgia 😂
      The premier holds up well against a cambridge. Its way I say people can get a premium for a decent price

      @@bibleversereview i’m styling and profiling. I hope you guys are doing well as well!
      I’ve only had one Cambridge and it was a Clarion. It was a great Bible. I wonder how Thomas Nelson/Zondervan does produce such a quality Bible for half the price of a Schuyler or Allan. I’m sure the bigger company can offset some of the price where the other two cannot because they’re smaller. I’m also sure that they use somewhat more expensive materials. At one point I was looking at the NASB premiere collection single column and I thought “that’s a lovely Bible for about $100!”

    • @bibleversereview
      @bibleversereview  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good to hear brother, looking forward to getting back on stream next sat.
      Nelson/ Zondervab they make them in china I believe, which prob helps. Some people hate that bibles are made in china, but I have often heard stories of workers being able to read parts of the bible as they work on them. So for that I am grateful to The Lord. Even though they use cheaper materials, they turn out as excellent bibles. And it shows a good bible can be made without selling them for a huge sum.
      Is that nasb similar to the preachers bible?

    • @TomPlantagenet
      @TomPlantagenet ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bibleversereview I don’t think so. It’s the side/single column reference I believe. If I’m right, it’s the standard Nasb layout that they’ve been using in one form or another for decades.

    • @bibleversereview
      @bibleversereview  ปีที่แล้ว

      I must take a look for it, on youtube. I need no more bibles 😂

    From the colors on the screen, i think I’d prefer the Cambridge green over the Thomas Nelson.
    But, I happened to be in the market for a NKJV thinline bible, love green leather, never had a premium leather bible before, and was able to get the premier edition for less than $100.
    That was a clear win for me.

    I'd go for the NKJV, definitely a very Irish looking Bible, green and gold with a gilt line that could almost be a Celtic design. Is that a prayer rope bracelet you are wearing, looks more Eastern than Western?

    • @bibleversereview
      @bibleversereview  ปีที่แล้ว

      The NKJV is indeed stunning, and yes it is very irish looking 😂
      Nope, its just a bracelet that came with a watch my mum bought me a couple of years ago, I rarely take it off. So i forget its on sometimes 😂

    I like the lighter colored one better, but I have a question:
    Are there any premium Bibles like this that are journaling/wide margin? Or premium women's Bibles? Thanks and God Bless!

    • @bibleversereview
      @bibleversereview  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So if its cambridge you are looking, they have the aquila goatskin WM however it only comes in black.
      Thomas Nelson are branching out in to more coloured bibles, so we can hope that in the future that encompasses wider margins.
      If you want a coloured leather bible thats wide margin, to my knowledge Schuyler is your best bet atm 😃
      Thanks for commenting. Let me know if i can be of further help

    You know I wish one publisher would have the courage enough to make a premier edition and something like a 13-point font. I think that would be awesome. Until then I'll just keep buying them and having them rebound lol! Excellent video sir

      Yes sadly many publishers do not give enough attention to giant print bibles. Although that being said, I do believe there is a giant print premier collection kjv

    I like the KJV Green Bible the best because Forrest Green is my favorite shade of Green. If these bibles were a Navy Blue then they would be perfect in my opinion.

    • @bibleversereview

      The topaz is available in a navy blue and so is the premier collection(however the blue PC may now all be gone as they came out a year or two ago)
